The Brio Wind Band will present its end-of-semester concert\, “Dawn Overture”\, on Sunday\, December 14 at 14:00 in Sport Hall I\, 1/F. Doors will open at 13:30. All faculty and students are warmly invited to enter the world of live music at the close of the year and experience its healing warmth. \nThe concert will be conducted by Mr. Lin Che-Wei. The program spans classical\, contemporary\, and ensemble pieces\, showcasing a rich palette of tones and interpretations. Repertoire includes Memories of Friendship\, Titanic – Medley\, Fate of the Gods\, a French horn ensemble performance of Jupiter\, a saxophone ensemble performance of Canon\, a brass quintet performance of Jounetsu Tairiku\, as well as Holiday of Hope\, The Seventh Night of July\, and Hana wa Saku. DESCRIPTION:桃園校區原資中心將於12/11（四）09:15–13:00在體育一館五樓會議室舉辦「原民頸鍊 × 葉葉包好運DIY」活動，以文化手作帶領學生走進原住民族的日常生活。本次活動開放全校學生參加，限額20位，內容結合南投雙龍部落的傳統糯米甜點與原民串珠工藝，透過動手製作，讓同學在冬日裡感受文化中的祝福與溫暖。 \n活動將從體驗雙龍部落的喜慶點心Kamu開始。透過糯米包覆紅豆餡，以月桃葉與棉繩層層綁妥，再蒸煮出軟糯香甜的滋味，同學能在製作過程中理解食物與部落文化的緊密連結。接著由羚羌·久鎂老師帶領進行原民串珠頸鍊DIY，從色彩搭配、圖紋象徵到串接技巧，讓參與者親手創作一條具文化寓意的頸鍊，並在每顆珠子之間看見原民工藝的溫度。 \n本活動名額有限，有興趣的同學歡迎把握機會報名，共同在手作與共享之中感受文化故事的流動。 \nThe Indigenous Students’ Resource Center will host the “Beaded Necklace × Leaf-Wrapped Good Fortune DIY” workshop on Thursday\, December 11\, from 09:15 to 13:00 at Sports Hall 1\, 5th Floor Conference Room. Through cultural handcraft activities\, the event invites students to explore everyday Indigenous life. The workshop is open to all MCU students with a limit of 20 participants\, combining a traditional glutinous rice dessert from the Shuanglong Tribe in Nantou and Indigenous beadwork. By working with their hands\, participants will feel the blessings and warmth embedded in Indigenous culture during the winter season. \nThe workshop begins with making Kamu\, a celebratory dessert from the Shuanglong Tribe. Sticky rice is wrapped around sweet red bean paste\, carefully tied with shell ginger leaves and cotton twine\, then steamed to create a soft and fragrant treat. Through this process\, students will learn about the deep cultural connection between food and tribal heritage. \nFollowing the cooking session\, Instructor Lingchiang・Chiumei will guide participants in making an Indigenous beaded necklace\, from color composition and symbolic patterns to stringing techniques. DESCRIPTION:奶茶向來是大學生生活中的療癒象徵，而每個人心中也都有一杯「最強奶茶」。為找出屬於銘傳人的代表風味，課指組將於12/10（三）12:00–13:00在體育一館四樓走廊舉辦首屆「銘傳奶茶之王」盲猜挑戰賽，邀請同學在忙碌學期中以味蕾交流、用笑聲暖化冬日午後，共同打造最具特色的校園記憶。 \n活動採 盲飲方式 進行，參賽者將分為三梯次競賽，每梯次10人，最後以得分高低決定名次；若出現同分情況，將加碼進行「加料奶茶」加賽，考驗同學的味覺敏銳度。當天11:50開放檢入，12:10進行第一梯次比賽，參賽者需攜帶學生證完成驗證。另提醒具乳糖不耐症者請斟酌參與，活動中如需飲水請自備水瓶。 \n本次活動報名自即日起開放至 12/5（五）12:00截止，欲挑戰最強奶茶舌靈王的同學可透過線上表單完成報名。課指組表示，希望透過這場兼具趣味與挑戰性的午間活動，讓同學在期末前夕獲得短暫放鬆，也找到屬於自己的那一杯暖心滋味。若有相關問題，可洽課指組詩芸老師詢問。 \nMilk tea has long been a comforting symbol of university life\, and everyone has their own idea of the “ultimate cup”. To discover the signature flavor that best represents Ming Chuan\, the Extracurricular Activities Section will host the first-ever “Ming Chuan Milk Tea King” Blind Tasting Challenge on December 10 (Wed)\, 12:00–13:00\, in the 4F hallway of Gymnasium I. Students are invited to connect through taste\, warm up a winter afternoon with laughter\, and create memorable moments amid a busy semester. \nThe challenge will be conducted in a blind tasting format. Participants will compete in three rounds\, each with 10 contestants\, and rankings will be determined by total scores. In the event of a tie\, contestants will enter a bonus round featuring “toppings-added milk tea”\, putting their taste sensitivity to the test. Check-in starts at 11:50\, and the first round begins at 12:10. Participants must bring their student ID for verification. Those with lactose intolerance are advised to consider participation carefully\, and students who need water during the event should bring their own bottles. \nRegistration is open now until December 5 (Fri)\, 12:00. SUMMARY:體育室 Office of Physical Education｜教職員工暑期球類競賽 Summer Sports Tournament for Faculty and Staff
DESCRIPTION:為推廣校園運動風氣，強化教職員工體適能與跨單位交流互動，體育室將於6/24（二）10:00-16:00在桃園校區舉辦「113學年度教職員工暑期球類競賽」，設有桌球、羽球、籃球三項團體賽事。比賽開放對象為本校專任與兼任教職員工，經過報名階段後，各單位已組成代表隊伍蓄勢待發，展現平日運動實力與團隊默契。 \n本次賽程依場地分配如下：桌球10:00-12:00、羽球13:00-16:00，皆於體育一館1樓進行；籃球為11:00-12:00，地點則在體育一館3樓。各項賽事皆設有完整賽制與排點規則，桌球為5局2勝制、羽球為3點2勝制，籃球則採四節制。參賽隊伍務必詳讀相關比賽辦法，遵守比賽規則與工作人員指引，準時到場應賽。 \n體育室亦準備豐厚獎勵，各項目將錄取前三名，分別頒發獎金NT$4\,000、NT2\,800與NT$1\,900，未得名隊伍亦可領取參加獎。本次活動不僅有助於強健體能，更提供教職員工彼此交流、舒壓與合作的平台。敬請各參賽單位準時報到、全力以赴，在友誼與競技中為團隊爭取佳績。詳細比賽規則如有疑問，請洽桃園校區體育室郭國隆老師，分機3522，E-mail：kuokuo@mail.mcu.edu.tw。 \nTo promote a culture of physical activity on campus and enhance physical fitness and interdepartmental interaction among faculty and staff\, the Office of Physical Education will host 2024 Academic Year Summer Sports Tournament for Faculty and Staff on Tuesday\, June 24\, from 10:00 to 16:00 at Taoyuan Campus. The event features three team competitions: table tennis\, badminton and basketball. \nThe tournament is open to all full-time and part-time faculty and staff members. Following the registration phase\, various departments have formed their representative teams and are ready to demonstrate their athletic skills and team coordination. \nEvent Schedule by Sport and Location: \n\n\nTable Tennis: 10:00–12:00 at 1st Floor\, Gymnasium I \n\n\nBadminton: 13:00–16:00 at 1st Floor\, Gymnasium I \n\n\nBasketball: 11:00–12:00 at 3rd Floor\, Gymnasium I \n\n\nEach competition will follow a structured set of rules: \n\n\nTable Tennis: Best of 5 games\, first to win 2 games \n\n\nBadminton: Best of 3 matches \n\n\nBasketball: Standard four-quarter format \n\n\nParticipating teams are required to review the competition guidelines carefully\, follow the rules and adhere to the instructions of the event staff. All participants must arrive punctually for their respective matches. \nTo encourage participation and performance\, the Office of Physical Education has prepared generous prizes. For each category\, the top three teams will receive cash prizes as follows: \n\n\n1st Place: NT$4\,000 \n\n\n2nd Place: NT$2\,800 \n\n\n3rd Place: NT$1\,900 \n\n\nTeams that do not place will still receive a participation prize. Beyond the physical benefits\, this event also provides a great opportunity for faculty and staff to connect\, de-stress and collaborate in a spirited environment. DESCRIPTION:為展現應屆畢業生豐碩學習成果，並促進產學交流觀摩機會，銘傳大學資訊學院12/4-6在桃園校區體育一館舉辦「5+1系聯合資訊展」，集結學院所屬的資訊管理學系、資訊工程學系、人工智慧應用學系、電子工程學系及電腦與通訊工程學系等5系，與國際學院資訊科技應用與管理學士學位學程共遴選出近30組優秀學生作品參展，配合12/6「發現銘傳」高中生開放日，歡迎高中職學生或學校團體免費前來參觀。 \n本次成果展主題包括：人工智慧與深度學習技術、物聯網與智慧裝置技術、機器人與自動化應用技術、半導體與電子元件技術、虛擬實境與互動設計技術、優化技術與使用者體驗等。展現學生們大學四年來累積的學習成長，淬鍊而出的多元、創新研究內容，並融合許多設計巧思，充分展現AI智慧創新與專業技能，將科技運用在日常生活中，邀請參觀者進一步了解與體驗。 \n配合12/6「發現銘傳」高中生開放日，善盡大學社會責任（USR），展覽期間歡迎各高中職學生團體蒞校參觀，並歡迎資訊與科技產業界蒞臨指導，增進師生對資訊產業的興趣及了解，達到資訊展促進產業與學術交流目的，展覽期間還會有投票兌換小禮品的活動，歡迎全校師生、高中職學生、產業界人士前往參觀。 \nTo showcase the achievements of this year’s graduates and promote opportunities for industry-academia exchange\, School of Information & Technology will host the “5+1 Department Joint Information Exhibition” from December 4 to 6 at Gymnasium 1 on Taoyuan Campus. The exhibition features nearly 30 outstanding student projects selected from the following departments: Information Management\, Computer Science & Information Engineering\, Applied Artificial Intelligence\, Electronic Engineering\, Information and Telecommunications Engineering\, and International College’s Information Technology and Management Program.
