This year’s event is themed around Lunar New Year\, transforming the venue into a festive market filled with warmth and celebratory cheer. Faculty and students from Taipei Campus are warmly invited to enjoy the lively holiday atmosphere together before finals. \nThe market features a diverse and vibrant lineup\, with nearly ten booths rotating each day. Offerings include desserts\, accessories\, clothing\, photo booths\, tarot readings\, and more\, allowing students to browse at ease between classes and pick up small holiday treats or seasonal items. There will also be photo sticker machines for capturing fun\, limited-edition memories. The School of Law has decorated the venue with Shin-chan–inspired elements\, creating an enjoyable and lively exhibition space where law students can unwind amid their busy academic schedules. \nA highlight of this year’s event is the addition of sponsored giveaway prizes from participating vendors. In addition to the much-loved card delivery tradition from previous years\, this year introduces a brand-new “In-Class Interaction” segment\, aiming to strengthen the bond between teachers and students through more diverse expressions of gratitude. \nThe event consists of two main parts\, providing students with more ways to show their thanks: \n\n\nIn-Class Interaction: During the lunch break\, student representatives will visit selected classes\, inviting students to handwrite their words of appreciation for their beloved teachers. \n\n\nLetter-Sending Activity: From September 22–25\, 10:00–16:00\, a booth will be set up at Liberty Square (in front of 7-Eleven)\, where cards and mailing assistance will be provided\, ensuring that every message of gratitude reaches its intended teacher. \n\n\nThe Student Association emphasized that Teacher’s Day is not only a time to honor teachers but also a valuable opportunity to foster meaningful connections between teachers and students. The event will take place daily from 10:30 to 16:00 at Liberty Square\, bringing together crafts\, games and the aroma of fresh coffee to create a warm and fun-filled appreciation week. All faculty and students are invited to join in and share heartfelt messages with their moms. \nThis year’s theme\, “Let Love Be More Than Just Words”\, will be showcased through various interactive booths. At the “Pipe Cleaner Flower” station\, students can either assemble pre-made petals or craft their own to create a bouquet of up to five blossoms\, ready to take home as a thoughtful gift. There’s also the fun-filled “Household Chores Monopoly” game\, where participants compete with friends or staff\, complete tasks based on prompts\, and race to the finish line to win a box of Nestlé KitKat Chocolate Cereal—available in limited quantity! \nIn addition to the themed activities\, the Specialty Coffee Club has been invited to brew hand-drip coffee on-site\, filling the area with a warm and inviting aroma. This five-day event\, themed “Hart’s Book of Happy Events” invites students to join an adventure filled with warmth and surprises. This event offers students a chance to express their gratitude to teachers through handwritten cards\, deepening the bond between students and teachers. \nThe Taipei campus event will be held at Liberty Square\, while the Taoyuan campus will host booths on the platform in front of Administration Office. Students are encouraged to write personal thank-you cards to convey their appreciation and respect for their teachers. Whether it’s for thoughtful guidance in academics or the care and support in everyday life\, these heartfelt messages can be delivered to teachers via free cards and postage! Additionally\, the Bliss Wisdom Youth Club at both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses will set up card distribution stations in the libraries\, making it easy for students to pick up free cards throughout the day and pen their messages of gratitude. \nStudents\, don’t miss this special opportunity to participate in Teacher Appreciation Week! DESCRIPTION:期中考結束後，各系院週活動陸續登場。上週（5/13-17），桃園校區舉辦了「S」週及「設計月」週（如下圖），活動精彩紛呈，吸引了眾多師生參與。接下來，台北校區將迎來的是「國企週」，今年的國企週(5/27-31)活動雖然簡單，但也充滿了亮點，歡迎走過路過不要錯過。 \n國企系週的主題重點以設計了大量富有國際元素的圖騰，為活動增添了濃厚的文化氛圍。校園內的門口及主要樓梯沿路都佈滿了這些精心設計的美宣品，每一件作品都包含了國企系學生的創意和心血。大家可以在活動期間，細細品味這些美宣品，研究其中的國際相關圖案是由哪些字母組成的，這些圖案背後蘊含著豐富的象徵意義。 \n此外，國企週用心挑選了許多攤販進駐，提供大家逛攤位和課後的好去處，從美食、飲品到手工藝品和文創產品，應有盡有。同學們可以在國企週期間，盡情逛攤，挑選到心儀的商品，享受輕鬆愉快的課後時光。邀請全校師生踴躍參與此次國企週活動，一同感受國企系所設計的國際文化的魅力，度過一段充滿樂趣和收穫的美好時光，國企週的各個角落，都能夠發現驚喜，收穫滿滿！ \nAfter the midterms\, departmental weeks are kicking off one after another. Last week (May 13-17)\, Taoyuan campus hosted “S Week” and “Design Month” (as shown in the image below). These events were full of exciting activities that attracted a large number of faculty and students. Now\, Taipei campus is gearing up for “Department of International Business Week”. Although this year’s Department of International Business Week (May 27-31) is simpler in format\, it is packed with highlights you won’t want to miss. \nThe theme of Department of International Business Week focuses on a plethora of international motifs\, adding a rich cultural atmosphere to the events. The campus entrances and main stairways are adorned with these carefully designed posters and decorations\, each piece reflecting the creativity and dedication of International Business Department students. DESCRIPTION:春暖花開！杜鵑花開滿校園，課後練啦啦舞的響聲，都一同倒數著67年校慶(3/23)的來到！台北校區學生會「另類文藝季」3/18-21開跑！學生會攤位上也有兩種刺激的遊戲《誰才是Cornhole神射手》對戰丟沙包，以及《好運滾滾來》滾乒乓球，除了雙人戰勝利者以及積分達標者可以獲得小禮物，單次遊玩積分最高者還能領NT1\,000獎金回家！好康大放送，走過經過請千萬別錯過！ \n此外，除了學生會邀請攤商外，相關社團們也齊力擺攤以及中午熱力放送表演，展現社團青春熱情。值得一提的是，【攝影美學社】將於每日中午限時限量推出 「#幫你換頭貼」，邀請社團高手幫想換頭貼的同學們，用單眼相機拍頭貼，五張原圖全給一組NT200，歡迎想換不同風格貼的同學們，快來預約，同時，【攝影美學社】還有自製底片鑰匙圈以各樣好物和手工毛線編物，歡迎大家來把小可愛們帶回家，療癒自己或大方相送都很合適。 \n另，本學期社團期初負責人會議圓滿落幕(下圖)， 學務長及副學務長特別宣導期中期末考週請假注意事宜，並且回應心理假公假以及碩博士幹部證明等學生權益相關議題。也再次申明校區全面禁菸，希望大家尊重他人，並讓校園生活更健康。會議中，除再次提醒社團夥伴基本須知及流程外，也特別宣導了SDGs、自殺及性騷擾防範相關重要議題，還請各社團一起宣導並執行，攜手把銘傳的社團推向最美好的未來。 \nSpring is in the air! The campus is adorned with blooming azaleas\, and the sounds of after-school cheerleading practices are echoing\, all counting down to the arrival of our 67th anniversary celebration on March 23rd! The Taipei Campus Student Association’s “Treasure Hunting” runs from March 18 to 21! At the Student Association booths\, there are two exciting games: “Who’s the Cornhole Sharpshooter?” where participants compete in tossing bean bags\, and “Lucky Ping Pong Roll\,” where participants roll ping pong balls. Winners of the doubles matches and those who reach the scoring threshold will receive small prizes\, while the highest scorer in a single play can take home a cash prize of NT$1\,000! Don’t miss out on these fantastic giveaways! \nIn addition to the Student Association’s inviting booths\, various clubs are also setting up stalls and hosting lively performances at noon\, showcasing the youthful enthusiasm of our clubs. Worth mentioning is the Photo Club\, which will offer a limited-time offer of “#NewProfilePic” every day at noon\, inviting skilled members to take profile pictures for students who want to update theirs. Five original photos will be provided for NT$200. Students who wish to change their profile pictures to different styles are welcome to make appointments. Additionally\, the Photo Club will also have handmade film keychains and various cute items for sale\, perfect for treating yourself or giving as gifts. \nFurthermore\, the initial club leaders’ meeting for this semester concluded successfully\, with the Dean of Student Affairs and Vice Dean emphasizing the importance of taking leave during midterm and final exam weeks\, as well as addressing student rights issues such as mental health leaves and certificates for graduate student leaders. It was also reiterated that smoking is prohibited on campus to ensure a healthier environment for everyone. Besides reminding club members of basic guidelines and procedures\, important topics such as SDGs\, suicide prevention\, and sexual harassment prevention were also emphasized during the meeting\, with a call for all clubs to promote and implement these initiatives together\, working hand in hand to bring out the best in Ming Chuan’s clubs for the future.
