This tournament is specially designed for first-year students\, whether you’re a seasoned badminton pro or a beginner looking to try something new. Come and showcase your skills\, push your limits\, and make the badminton court a lively stage for competition and camaraderie. \nThe tournament offers four categories: Men’s Singles\, Men’s Doubles\, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles\, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Matches will follow a rally scoring system\, with the first player/team to reach 21 points declared the winner. Games will be held during lunchtime from 12:10 to 13:00 throughout the week. \nEntry fee: NT$300 per team\, payable on the day of your match. Participants are required to bring their student ID for verification at the venue. \nTo further motivate participants\, winners will receive certificates and cash prizes! The Taoyuan Campus Badminton Club\, in collaboration with Fu Jen Catholic University and Chang Gung University\, is hosting a Badminton Exchange Tournament on Sunday\, November 10\, from 09:00 to 17:00 at Chang Gung University’s badminton court (Gym 1). This tournament is open to all students of MCU’s Taoyuan Campus\, as well as members of Badminton Club. The competition will include men’s and women’s doubles\, with the match format adjusted based on the number of participants. The games will use RSL No. 3 shuttlecocks. Prizes will be awarded based on rankings\, with equivalent goods (non-cash) valued at NT$700 for first place\, NT$500 for second place\, and NT$300 for third place. \nIn addition to the morning competition\, a fun match will be held in the afternoon to create a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The fun match will be played in randomly assigned teams\, mixing players from all three schools for a knockout competition. The winning team will receive a surprise prize. All participants must complete the fun match before leaving\, ensuring that the event is full of interaction and excitement. \nFor registration\, members of the Badminton Club can join for free\, while non-members must pay a registration fee of NT$150.
