This year’s theme features the beloved character Crayon Shin-chan\, transforming the campus into a playful and festive setting. Throughout the week\, 13 rotating booths will be set up\, offering a wide variety of food\, photo sticker machines\, fragrances\, and accessories—inviting everyone to relax\, explore\, and enjoy small moments of happiness before finals. \nThe market showcases a rich selection of vendors: from sweet and savory treats to handcrafted accessories and fragrance products for students to browse. There will also be photo sticker machines for capturing fun\, limited-edition memories. The School of Law has decorated the venue with Shin-chan–inspired elements\, creating an enjoyable and lively exhibition space where law students can unwind amid their busy academic schedules. \nA highlight of this year’s event is the addition of sponsored giveaway prizes from participating vendors. Students will have the chance to join the daily lucky draw from December 8 to 12. Details and rules for the giveaway will be announced on the Association’s social media. School of Law will host its annual barbecue gathering on 12/16 (Tue)\, 18:00–21:30\, at Bullfighting Square in front of Sun Yat Sen Auditorium. Students are invited to wear their most youthful high school uniforms\, gather around the charcoal grill\, share food\, and create unforgettable winter memories unique to the law community. Registration is open in groups of ten\, encouraging friends to team up\, divide preparation tasks\, grill together\, build teamwork\, and enjoy laughter in a cozy\, aroma-filled atmosphere. \nThis year’s barbecue is free for students who have paid departmental fees. For those who have not paid\, the fee is NT$250 per person\, and for students from other departments\, NT$300 per person. To help students grasp the essentials of this foundational subject\, the School of Law Student Association\, in collaboration with Get Law\, will host a special lecture titled “Stepping Out of Criminal Law Beginner’s Village: Learning How to Write Essay Questions from Scratch” on Wednesday\, October 22\, from 12:10 to 13:00 in B401. The event will feature Attorney Chang Jing-Jung\, a renowned Get Law criminal law instructor and NTU Law alumnus\, who will personally guide first-year students through the crucial first step in understanding criminal law. \nThe lecture is primarily designed for first-year students in Department of Law and Department of Financial Law. Mr. Chang will explain key concepts in general criminal law—such as legal interest\, elements of a crime\, and the three-step analysis—in a clear and engaging way. He will also demonstrate how to approach and write essay questions using real case examples\, helping students build a solid foundation in legal reasoning and develop effective study strategies. \nStudents who register before Sunday\, October 19 will enjoy a free lunch during the event and have a chance to win a signed copy of Attorney Chang’s bestselling book. DESCRIPTION:大學生活的序幕即將拉開，銘傳大學台北校區法律學院為迎接今年的新生，將於10/19-20在新北市龍門露營區舉辦一場盛大的迎新宿營活動。這次宿營活動內容豐富，包括挑戰十足的闖關遊戲、感人至深的晚會，以及各式各樣的互動遊戲，旨在幫助新生迅速融入校園生活，並與學長姐們建立深厚的友誼。 \n法律學院的新生們注意！有意參加宿營的同學，請先提交報名表單並填寫新生包內的家長同意書。新生訓練當日，將同意書及參加費用繳交給學會成員。如果當天無法抵達的同學，亦可於後續時間前往系辦繳交文件及費用。活動的收費日期為9/12-13及9/19-20，若因故無法參加者，可於9/20-27期間申請退還50%費用。請事先確認系辦是否有人接待，過了9/28將不再提供退費服務。 \n繳費手續將於校內B105教室進行，有繳交系費的同學，請額外準備系費付款證明。期待大家踴躍參與，共同迎接嶄新的大學生活！活動詳情及報名表單請至法學院IG[mcu_law]查詢。 \nAs the curtain rises on university life\, the College of Law at Ming Chuan University’s Taipei campus is hosting a grand freshman welcome camp from October 19-20 at Longmen Campground in New Taipei City. The camp promises an exciting lineup\, including challenging team games\, a heartwarming evening party\, and various interactive activities. These are all designed to help freshmen quickly adapt to campus life and build lasting friendships with senior students. \nAttention\, College of Law freshmen! Those interested in participating in the camp must submit the registration form and complete the parental consent form included in the freshman packet. On the day of the freshman orientation\, please submit the consent form and the camp fee to the student association members. If you cannot attend the orientation\, you can visit the department office at a later time to submit the documents and fees. The payment dates are set for September 12-13 and September 19-20. If you are unable to attend the camp\, you may apply for a 50% refund between September 20-27. Please confirm that the department office is staffed before visiting. No refunds will be provided after September 28. \nPayments will be processed in classroom B105 on campus. Students who have paid their department fees must also provide proof of payment.
