As silver grass reaches its peak bloom\, its soft white plumes sway gracefully in the wind—especially around 400 meters up the Qixingshan Trail from the Lengshuikeng trailhead\, a perfect spot for both photography and social media shots. MCU Taipei Campus’s Photo Club is hosting its 3rd Rising Star Cup\, with this year’s theme: “Am I Myself?” Through this somewhat abstract topic\, participants are encouraged to pick up their cameras or smartphones and explore the meaning of “self” during the shooting process. Engage in a conversation with the lens\, discover yourself and reintroduce yourself to who you are. \nThe club’s PR manager mentioned that\, compared to the previous themes of “Emotion” and “Togetherness”\, this year’s challenge is notably more difficult. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from alumni Zhang Dunzhi and Zou Likai\, the prizes have also been upgraded! The competition will award one First Prize winner\, one Gold Prize winner\, and five Excellence and Merit Award winners each. The First Prize winner will take home a brand-new GoPro 12\, while the Gold Prize winner will receive a NT$5\,000 cash award. Every day this week\, different clubs are hosting their “Beginning-of-Semester Welcome Events”\, inviting both current members and interested students to join. \n\n\n\n\n9/23 (Mon) \n\nBadminton Club at 18:00 will start with team-building activities\, followed by the official club session.\nBaking Club from 18:00-21:00 at F513 will be serving iced lemon tea and various snacks to welcome everyone!
