His constant inspiration comes from his travels around the world\, his experiences of love\, and the joy and sorrow between people. His music blends reggae\, jazz\, soul\, and bossa nova. Over the past ten years\, Duane has released two original albums and toured in Canada three times\, Europe four times\, and Central America three times. \n(Reggae is a genre of music that originated in Jamaica in the 1960s and became popular among Jamaicans and the Jamaican diaspora. Let’s come together on these nights to enjoy the resonance of rhythm and soul\, exchanging music and vibes in a relaxed grooving atmosphere — Good vibes only\, come join us for a fun night! \n本次從加拿大邀請嘉賓陣容 Guest from Canada Lineup for this Event \nTennyson King (百城) 和 Van Lefan (樂凡) 都是在環遊世界的創作歌手，去年在加拿大相遇，決定一起來台灣巡演。他們以溫暖的吉他音調、長笛旋律和優美的和聲，分享英文和中文歌曲與旅途的故事。他們用音樂，在日常平凡中尋找魔法和生活目的的，以創作來打造夢想的世界。 \nTennyson King and Van Lefan\, both globe-trotting singer-songwriters\, crossed paths in Canada last year and decided to embark on a tour together in Taiwan. With warm guitar tones\, flute melodies\, and graceful harmonies\, they share English and Chinese songs along with stories from their journeys. Through music\, they seek to find magic in the mundane and give purpose to life\, using their creativity to craft a world of dreams. \nTennyson King (百城) \n從小被父母強迫學習古典鋼琴出身，一直不想練習，彈到十幾歲後自己改學吉他，開始接觸頹廢搖滾、另類搖滾後真正愛上❤️了音樂。 \n透過分享自己的音樂踏遍了世界許多角落，從歐洲的街道到非洲與福音歌手一起表演，亦或是與爬山的健行者一起分享，也跟學校的孩子們一起舉辦音樂音樂工作坊， 意識到了音樂可以神奇的讓不同文化的人有所連結。 \n這站來到了台灣。 \nTennyson 將為我們獻唱多首樂曲、及演奏吉他與中國民族樂器－中阮。 \nOriginally trained in classical piano by his parents\, Tennyson resisted practicing and eventually switched to guitar in his teens. He fell in love ❤️ with music after discovering alternative and indie rock genres. \nThrough sharing his music\, Tennyson has traveled to many corners of the world\, performing on European streets\, collaborating with gospel singers in Africa\, and sharing melodies with hikers on mountain trails. He has also conducted music workshops for school children\, realizing the magical power of music to connect people from different cultures. \nNow\, Tennyson has arrived in Taiwan\, where he will perform several songs and showcase his skills on the guitar and the Chinese traditional instrument\, Ruan. \n\nVan Lefan (樂凡) \n身兼多職的歌手 🎹 /藝術家 🎨/顧問，從小聽著蔡琴，齊豫，黃小舞，任賢齊的歌長大，在樹林住到11歲。 \n多才多藝的樂凡雖已移居加拿大，但這次回到了她小時後長大的故鄉－台灣，將用她的歌聲及吉他和長笛為我們帶來動人心弦 🤩 的歌曲。♪ \n自小父母發現了她對音樂的興趣，便讓她參加了合唱團，上吉他課和參加學校的長笛隊，移居加拿大後持續與不同樂手及樂團合作，也沒有停止寫歌，更在2023年推出了首張個人專輯！ \nA multi-talented singer 🎹/artist 🎨/consultant\, Van Lefan grew up listening to artists like Tsai Chin\, Chyi Yu\, Huang Xiao-Wu\, and Richie Jen while living in Shulin until the age of 11. \nAlthough Van Lefan now resides in Canada\, she returns to her childhood home of Taiwan this time\, bringing us captivating 🤩 songs with her voice\, guitar\, and flute. \nSince her parents noticed her interest in music at a young age\, they encouraged her to join the choir\, take guitar lessons\, and participate in the school’s flute ensemble. After moving to Canada\, she continued collaborating with various musicians and bands\, never ceasing to write songs.
