\n「動搖世代的啟航：蔣渭水生命軌跡」特展資訊\n日期：114年08月22日〜115年08月\n開放時間：上午9時30分至下午５時30分（週一休館）\n地址：渭水驛站（臺北市大同區延平北路二段27號） \n  \nSpecial Exhibition: Set Sail in a Shaking Era — The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui\nThe Wei Shui Station\, under the Department of Cultural Affairs\, Taipei City Government\, is proud to present its latest exhibition: “Set Sail in a Shaking Era: The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui.” Curated by the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, this exhibition offers a profound look at the life of Taiwan’s pioneer of democratic enlightenment through the lens of a “Life River.” \nThe exhibition is inspired by Chiang Wei-shui’s own stirring words: \n\n“A shaking era is the happiest era for humanity; for only through the tremors of today can we achieve the progress of tomorrow.” \n\nMessage from the Curator\nChen Ya-chieh\, CEO of the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, shares that the goal is for visitors to not only learn about Chiang’s activism but also to feel his struggles\, choices\, and passion within the flow of history. SUMMARY:《步入永恆：賈科梅蒂、米羅、考爾德》Special Exhibition: Stepping Into Eternity Masterpieces by Giacometti\, Miró\, and Calder
\n  \n展覽資訊 \n展覽地點:富邦美術館 臺北市信義區松高路79號(富邦美術館\,1樓水景展廳)  \n展覽時間:2025-12-24~2026-04-20 11:00-18:00 週二閉館 \n  \n“Stepping Into Eternity” showcases the iconic sculptures of three of the 20th century’s most influential artistic giants: Alberto Giacometti (1901–1966)\, Joan Miró (1893–1983)\, and Alexander Calder (1898–1976). This rare collection marks the first time many of these works are being exhibited in Taiwan. \nThe Journey of Three Masters\nIn the 1920s\, these artists arrived in Paris from Switzerland\, Spain\, and the United States\, respectively. They quickly rose to prominence within the avant-garde and Surrealist circles by boldly defying traditional figurative art. Following the outbreak of World War II\, each returned to their homeland\, where their post-war careers further deepened their exploration of form\, scale\, and space\, pushing the boundaries of what sculpture could be. \nExhibition Highlights\nFeaturing 47 masterpieces from the Fondation Maeght—one of Europe’s most prestigious modern art collections—this exhibition focuses on their post-war creative evolution: \n\n\nAlberto Giacometti: Exploring the perception of distance\, Giacometti created slender\, seemingly fragile human figures. Through minimalist forms and elongated proportions\, he captured the essence of human loneliness and existential presence within space. \n\n\nJoan Miró: Immersing himself fully in sculpture\, Miró drew inspiration from everyday and natural objects. With his whimsical imagination and unexpected combinations\, he transformed and reshaped the very appearance of reality. \n\n\nAlexander Calder: Calder continued to expand the realm of “mobiles” (kinetic sculptures) while creating increasingly massive outdoor public sculptures that energize their surroundings and awaken the viewer’s perception. \n\n\nTogether\, these three artists redefined sculpture for a new era\, engaging a broader audience and opening diverse ways to dialogue with an ever-changing world. \n\nExhibition Information\n\n\nDates: December 24\, 2025 – April 20\, 2026 \n\n\nHours: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Closed on Tuesdays) \n\n\nVenue: Fubon Art Museum\, 1F Water Gallery \n\n\nAddress: No. 79\, Songgao Rd.\, Xinyi Dist.\, Taipei City

Lanting Obsession: Nine Historical Figures Infatuated with the Lanting Preface
\n  \n\n\n\n項目 (Item)\n資訊 (Information)\n\n\n\n\n展覽名稱\n蘭亭癖——九位醉心〈蘭亭序〉的帝王、權臣與文人雅士\n\n\nEnglish Title\nLanting Obsession: Nine Historical Figures Infatuated with the Lanting Preface\n\n\n展覽日期 (Dates)\n2026/01/16 – 2026/04/06\n\n\n展覽地點 (Location)\n國立故宮博物院 北部院區 正館 212 陳列室 (Room 212\, Main Building\, NPM Northern Branch)\n\n\n門票 (Admission)\n需購買故宮門票入場 (Standard NPM museum ticket)\n\n\n推薦對象 (Target)\n對書法、藝術史、文學有興趣之學生\n\n\n\n  \n“The Lanting Preface (Orchid Pavilion Preface) has long been revered as the ‘Number One Running Script’ in the world. Since the Tang Dynasty\, it has served as the definitive model for learners and calligraphers alike. Legend has it that the original manuscript\, prized and adored by Emperor Taizong of Tang (598–649)\, was buried with him in the Zhaoling Mausoleum and has never been seen since. Furthermore\, the tale that Wang Xizhi (303–361) attempted to rewrite it ‘hundreds of times after sobering up\, yet none could match the original’ likely contributed to its enduring popularity and status as a timeless masterpiece. \nThroughout Chinese history\, there have been countless devotees infatuated with the Lanting Preface. This exhibition focuses on nine prominent calligraphers and collectors—ranging from emperors and powerful ministers to refined scholars—spanning nearly a millennium. What they shared was an extraordinary emotional attachment and obsession with the Lanting Preface\, expressed through their collecting of rubbings\, the creation of calligraphic copies\, and the composition of poetic tributes. Weng Fanggang (1733–1818)\, a renowned epigraphist of the Qing Dynasty\, termed this unique aesthetic and cultural trend ‘Lanting Obsession’ (Lanting Pi). \nAre you also an admirer of the Lanting Preface?” \n“The ‘Lanting Obsession’ exhibition invites you into the most legendary chapter of Chinese calligraphy history. From the mysterious disappearance of the original Lanting Preface to the centuries of fascination by emperors and scholars\, this exhibition reveals calligraphy as more than just writing—it is a lifelong passion that has spanned generations. It’s a feast of history\, aesthetics\, and cultural power\, and we highly encourage you to explore it and experience the allure of the ‘Number One Running Script’ firsthand.” \n\n\n\nFeature\nDetails\n\n\n\n\nThe Legend\nThe Lanting Preface is considered the “Number One Running Script” in Chinese calligraphy history.\n\n\nThe Obsession\nThe exhibition focuses on nine historical figures (emperors\, scholars\, officials) and their lifelong obsession with copying and collecting this masterpiece.\n\n\nWhy Visit\nIt provides a deep dive into how calligraphy was used not just for writing\, but as a status symbol and a core element of cultural identity throughout history.\n\n\nPro-tip\nThe exhibition includes rare pieces like the letter from Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty to Yue Fei\, showing the direct influence of the Lanting Preface on his writing style.\n\n\n\n

Special Exhibition: Animal Companions
\n展覽資訊 \n展覽期間:2026-01-17~2026-04-06 9:00-17:00 \n活動地點:臺北市士林區至善路二段221號(國立故宮博物院) 第一展覽館 210室 \n  \nSpecial Exhibition: Animal Companions\nExploring the Bonds Between Humans and Animals through Ancient Art \nThe relationship between humans and animals has always been an inseparable theme in art and literature. The special exhibition “Animal Companions” invites you to explore the diverse roles and emotions captured by artists throughout history. From simple domestic ties to deep spiritual connections\, this collection reveals the many facets of our interaction with the animal kingdom. \nExhibition Themes\n\n\nSymbols of Fortune & Faith: Animals often appear as auspicious symbols or divine pets of deities\, embodying human aspirations for luck\, prosperity\, and the supernatural. \n\n\nReflections of Social Status: From majestic steeds that display wealth and power to the humble donkeys accompanying scholars in their simple\, virtuous lives\, animals serve as vivid portraits of their owners’ identities and social standing. \n\n\nHeartfelt Interactions: The most touching part of the exhibition lies in the genuine emotional bonds: a cowherd playing with his water buffalo\, a groom and his horse huddling together against a gale\, or a cherished house cat in a lady’s private chamber. These works capture a wordless tacit understanding\, showing how animals evolved from laborers into beloved friends. \n\n\nA Vision of an “Ideal Home”\nWhether it is chicks strolling in a farmhouse courtyard\, a curious puppy greeting visitors in a peach-blossom utopia\, or horses galloping across vast grasslands—animals are indispensable companions in the human quest for an “ideal home.” We hope this exhibition allows you to rediscover and cherish the beautiful\, symbiotic bond we share with our animal companions. \n\nExhibition Information\n\n\nDates: January 17\, 2026 – April 6\, 2026 \n\n\nHours: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM \n\n\nVenue: National Palace Museum\, Gallery 210\, Exhibition Building I \n\n\nAddress: No. 221\, Sec. 2\, Zhishan Rd.\, Shilin Dist.\, Taipei City

A Dream of Light and Flowers! Mika Ninagawa’s Largest Overseas Exhibition: "Light of the Other Side\, Shadows of this Side"
\n《彼岸之光，此岸之影》票價整理\n \nA Dream of Light and Flowers! Mika Ninagawa’s Largest Overseas Exhibition: “Light of the Other Side\, Shadows of this Side”\nLimited Engagement in Taipei\nIf you’ve ever been mesmerized by vibrant seas of flowers and dreamlike interplays of light and shadow on social media\, you are undoubtedly familiar with Mika Ninagawa. A master of contemporary Japanese art\, her bold colors and unique visual language—known as “Ninagawa Aesthetics”—have taken the world by storm\, spanning photography\, film\, fashion\, and immersive spatial installations. \nThe Largest Overseas Solo Exhibition to Date\nEarlier this year\, her exhibition in Kyoto\, “Mika Ninagawa with EiM: Light of the Other Side\, Shadows of this Side\,” attracted over 250\,000 visitors in just two months. Now\, the exhibition makes its overseas debut in Taipei! Opening next January at Huashan 1914 Creative Park\, this marks Ninagawa’s return to Taipei after 10 years and stands as her most ambitious overseas project to date. \nIs it a Dream or Reality?\nBuilding on the acclaim of the Kyoto show\, Ninagawa has collaborated with the creative tech team EiM (Eternity in a Moment) to craft an unprecedented immersive experience. The exhibition explores the intersections of light and shadow\, life and death\, and reality and dreams. It transcends traditional photography by blending images\, 3D installations\, and digital technology into a fluid\, ethereal sanctuary. \nCapturing the Secret Beauty of Taipei\nTrue to her philosophy\, Ninagawa insists on authentic photography\, capturing the fleeting beauty of city corners and natural light rather than relying on computer-generated imagery (CGI). Excitingly\, the Taipei stop will feature exclusive local elements\, weaving the story of this city into a one-of-a-kind narrative. \nEight Worlds Blooming Simultaneously\nStep inside and experience eight distinct realms: \n\n\n“Breath of Life”: Feel the resonance between the city and yourself through shimmering urban waterscapes. \n\n\n“Blooming Emotions”: Awaken hidden feelings amidst a boundless sea of flowers. \n\n\n“Liberation and Obsession”: Confront inner struggles and raw passion. \n\n\n“Dream of the Abyss”: An endless 720-degree LED landscape where cherry blossoms\, fireworks\, and the sea swirl together in a mirrored幻境 (phantasmagoria). \n\n\n“Whispers of Light\, Dreams of Color”: A “breathing rainbow world” featuring over 2\,000 crystal strands. As you enter\, butterflies\, flowers\, and hearts shimmer through refracted light\, evoking a kaleidoscope of childhood memories. \n\n\n🎟️ Mika Ninagawa with EiM: Ticketing Information\n1. DESCRIPTION:【味噌 Miso Making】 \n兩個時段 Two sessions： \n1/30（五 Fri）10:00~12:30（2.5hr）\n1/31（六 Sat）10:00~12:30（2.5hr） \n課程費用$3\,000包含 Course Fee: NT$3\,000 (includes)： \n\n老師來台教學費用／機票／住宿\n即時口譯專家費\n百年老店米麴\n有機黃豆、海鹽\n製作說明書\n3L提桶\n示範味噌餐點試吃\n課後每人可帶回「3公斤自製味噌」\n\n\n\nInstructor’s teaching fee in Taiwan / airfare / accommodation \n\n\nProfessional simultaneous interpretation \n\n\nRice koji from a century-old Japanese producer \n\n\nOrganic soybeans and sea salt \n\n\nStep-by-step instruction booklet \n\n\n3-liter fermentation bucket \n\n\nTasting of demonstration miso dishes \n\n\nEach participant may take home 3 kg of homemade miso \n\n\n是的，大豆、鹽、米麴就這簡簡單單的三樣，只要願意按步就班、耐心對待，『時間』就是那把祕密鑰匙，能開啟一份純粹的芬芳甘美滋味。 \nYes—just three simple ingredients: soybeans\, salt\, and rice koji. By following each step carefully and treating the process with patience\, time becomes the secret key that unlocks a pure\, fragrant\, and gently sweet flavor. \nWith a shy smile set aside\, Master Tetsuya speaks sincerely and earnestly: miso’s nutritional value is well known\, yet many people assume miso is an everyday staple in Japanese life and therefore easy to find. In reality\, it is rare to encounter truly pure\, additive-free miso in Japan—most commercial miso is made using accelerated methods. \nTo achieve a pleasing color\, vitamin B is added; to enhance sweetness\, amino acids are included; to extend shelf life\, alcohol is used to inhibit fermentation. For this reason\, he has spent years teaching people how to make miso\, with a simple wish: that more people are willing to make this uncomplicated food themselves\, so everyone can eat more healthily. \nMaster Tetsuya has a deep fondness for Taiwan. In Japan\, alcohol production is still regulated under a government monopoly system.) \nIt is worth highlighting that Mr. Tamura uses Ikari-san’s rice koji for brewing. He has won first place in the Doburoku competition for two consecutive years\, and this year the runner-up was also claimed by one of his own apprentices—truly a joyful achievement. \nSinger Karamushi-san also performed live at the event. At such a moment\, what more could one ask for in life? \n(Note: Karamushi-san is from Atsugi\, Kanagawa\, and is Ikari-san’s elder brother. A powerful reggae vocalist who expresses the spirit of reggae through freestyle performance\, he advocates “ASIA UNITE”.) \nThis is a specially designed brewing course taught by Mr. Hiroshi Tamura\, guiding participants in how to use quality rice koji to brew rice wine by hand. 2026 Lunar New Year in Taipei: Dihua Street and Beyond
\n2026 Lunar New Year in Taipei: Dihua Street and Beyond\nExperience the Grandest New Year Market from Jan 31 to Feb 15\nAs the Lunar New Year approaches\, Taipei’s most iconic shopping tradition officially begins!
