Special Exhibition: Set Sail in a Shaking Era — The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui
\n「動搖世代的啟航：蔣渭水生命軌跡」特展資訊\n日期：114年08月22日〜115年08月\n開放時間：上午9時30分至下午５時30分（週一休館）\n地址：渭水驛站（臺北市大同區延平北路二段27號） \n  \nSpecial Exhibition: Set Sail in a Shaking Era — The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui\nThe Wei Shui Station\, under the Department of Cultural Affairs\, Taipei City Government\, is proud to present its latest exhibition: “Set Sail in a Shaking Era: The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui.” Curated by the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, this exhibition offers a profound look at the life of Taiwan’s pioneer of democratic enlightenment through the lens of a “Life River.” \nThe exhibition is inspired by Chiang Wei-shui’s own stirring words: \n\n“A shaking era is the happiest era for humanity; for only through the tremors of today can we achieve the progress of tomorrow.” \n\nMessage from the Curator\nChen Ya-chieh\, CEO of the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, shares that the goal is for visitors to not only learn about Chiang’s activism but also to feel his struggles\, choices\, and passion within the flow of history. We invite you to read the past through a modern lens and let the echoes of history resonate with your contemporary social responsibility. \nExhibition Highlights\nThe exhibition is divided into five themed sections\, tracing his journey from his student days in Yilan to his medical career and intellectual awakening.
Instagram【mcusa_taipei】。 \nTaipei Campus Student Association will host a special “Starry Sky Cinema” on 11/26 (Wed)\, 18:00–21:00\, at Bullfighting Plaza. Students are invited to step into the world of American Girl under the night sky and gentle breeze\, enjoying a warm and memorable outdoor movie experience. In case of rain\, the event will be moved to H606 to ensure a cozy space where everyone can relax and unwind. \nThis screening features American Girl\, a film set in 2000s Taiwan that follows Fang Yuxuan\, a teenage girl who returns to Taiwan from the United States\, and her evolving relationship with her mother. Through themes such as academic pressure\, identity\, and family dynamics\, the film delicately portrays the anxieties of adolescence and the sincerity of growing up. Its emotional layers and gentle pacing invite viewers to rediscover versions of themselves once blurred yet deeply real\, finding resonance amid shifting light and shadow. \nWatching a coming-of-age film beneath the open sky may be just the pause you need to find your rhythm again. The Student Association welcomes all students to join with friends\, embracing a moment of quiet and the power of storytelling—an opportunity to breathe\, to feel\, and to be moved beyond the everyday. Registration is now open\, and the form includes a “snack wish list” where participants can suggest their favorite treats or drinks for movie night. \nFor more event details\, visit Taipei Campus Student Association Instagram: mcusa_taipei.

Ting-Ting Chao X Anarchy Dance Theatre
\nIn the virtual realm\, space and time are sliced\, compressed\, and stretched—turning into layers of data that can be read and replayed. The body no longer has a fixed position; instead\, it drifts between realities\, following the fractured layers of unbalanced memory\, suspended between the virtual and the tangible. \nLiving in an era defined by rapid advances in the internet and digital technology\, we have become adept at using various media to capture and record the world around us. Yet within this constantly renewing current\, KINGDOM invites audiences to turn back and reflect on the things that have been lost\, overlooked\, or discarded. Those seemingly ordinary details of everyday life—precisely because we fail to remember them—have developed their own character\, hue\, and warmth. \nKINGDOM is an experimental XR performance that merges 3D scanning technology and motion capture within a VR environment. Through the interplay of live multi-screen projections and the dancers’ physical movement vocabulary\, fragmented\, liquefied\, and incomplete digital scans are reassembled into an uninhabited digital kingdom. Within this constantly collapsing and reforming environment\, the work explores how perception and adaptation evolve amid shifting digital landscapes. \nDates & Times｜2025/11/28 (Fri) 19:302025/11/29 (Sat) 14:30\, 19:302025/11/30 (Sun) 14:30 \nVenue｜C-LAB Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab – Joint Restaurant Performance Space\, 1F(No. 177\, Sec. 1\, Jianguo S. SUMMARY:北投放映派 Beitou On Show
\nBeitou On Show is both a party and a collective movement—an event shaped by the participation of many\, celebrating a lifestyle crafted together. Building on the cultural momentum of the restored and revitalized Beitou Film Studio (formerly China Film Studio)\, this event explores new possibilities for integrating moving images into everyday life. Centered on the themes of “Film Spaces × Beitou Landscapes × Afternoon Living”\, it creates an outdoor setting where cinematic memories\, local culture\, and sensory experiences converge. \nThrough the Film Re-screening program\, audiences can rediscover the historical memories of the studio. Responding to shifting viewing habits in the post-pandemic era—where streaming has replaced movie theaters as the norm—Beitou On Show aims to revive the ritual of “watching movies together”.
