Special Exhibition: Set Sail in a Shaking Era — The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui
\n「動搖世代的啟航：蔣渭水生命軌跡」特展資訊\n日期：114年08月22日〜115年08月\n開放時間：上午9時30分至下午５時30分（週一休館）\n地址：渭水驛站（臺北市大同區延平北路二段27號） \n  \nSpecial Exhibition: Set Sail in a Shaking Era — The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui\nThe Wei Shui Station\, under the Department of Cultural Affairs\, Taipei City Government\, is proud to present its latest exhibition: “Set Sail in a Shaking Era: The Life Trajectory of Chiang Wei-shui.” Curated by the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, this exhibition offers a profound look at the life of Taiwan’s pioneer of democratic enlightenment through the lens of a “Life River.” \nThe exhibition is inspired by Chiang Wei-shui’s own stirring words: \n\n“A shaking era is the happiest era for humanity; for only through the tremors of today can we achieve the progress of tomorrow.” \n\nMessage from the Curator\nChen Ya-chieh\, CEO of the Chiang Wei-shui Cultural Foundation\, shares that the goal is for visitors to not only learn about Chiang’s activism but also to feel his struggles\, choices\, and passion within the flow of history. We invite you to read the past through a modern lens and let the echoes of history resonate with your contemporary social responsibility. \nExhibition Highlights\nThe exhibition is divided into five themed sections\, tracing his journey from his student days in Yilan to his medical career and intellectual awakening. Movie Night
\nTamsui Lifestyle – Reconnecting with Essence of Life \nSince 2018\, Tamkang University USR Project “Tamsui Good Life: University Town Co-Creation and Design Action Plan” has been deeply rooted in the local community\, focusing on sustainable living in urban neighborhoods\, historic districts\, and rural areas. The project pays special attention to the everyday experiences of seniors\, children\, new immigrants\, and workers\, fostering long-term collaborations with local partners. \nIn 2020\, the initiative expanded into the “Learning City and Countryside Program”\, emphasizing “local editing” and “local design” as key concepts. Through courses and participatory actions\, residents were invited to engage in reshaping their living spaces — a true practice of regional revitalization. During the pandemic\, the project launched “World Heritage Potential Site Field School” and “Living in Tamsui” Forum\, both exploring the meaning of living and belonging in Tamsui. \nBy 2022\, the team had joined the New Taipei Learning City Project\, supporting local business marketing and souvenir design. As Tamsui continues to face urbanization and population growth challenges\, the team advocates for the vision of a “Sustainable City of Everyday Life” — integrating food\, clothing\, housing\, and mobility to co-create a livable urban environment. \nSince 2023\, the Tamsui Lifestyle Festival has served as a platform to deepen these efforts through six strategies: curated experiences\, cultural tours\, craft workshops\, thematic talks\, art performances\, and creative markets. The festival invites residents and newcomers alike to rediscover and celebrate the richness of everyday life in Tamsui — inspiring the imagination of what it means to truly “live here”. \n▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰ \n🎬電影之夜 Movie Night \n꒰活動資訊 Event Details꒱ \n活動時間 Date & Time｜2025.11.15（六 Sat）、11.18（二 Tue）、11.21（五 Fri）18:00-21:00 \n集合地點 Venue｜日落月出 Sunset Moonrise（新北市淡水區公明街43號 No. 43\, Gongming St.\, Tamsui Dist.\, New Taipei City） \n活動費用 Fee｜NT$300（※收費片單 Applicable for paid screenings：冰淇淋的滋味、大學生作品 Rooted in the Land: A poetic documentary that gently tells the story of the earth. Non-Governmental Matters and the Nomadic Researches》施惟捷 分享講座 Lecture by Shih Wei-Chieh
CAT. jpg cafe｜No. 154\, Chaozhou St.\, Da’an Dist.\, Taipei City \n◼︎報名保證金 Deposit｜NT$200／人 person（將於活動現場簽到後全額退還 fully refunded upon on-site check-in） \n◼︎報名 To apply｜https://www.accupass.com/eflow/ticket/2510231201071698732335?utm_campaign=accu_theme&utm_medium=home_north&utm_source=Web \n◼︎講座內容 Lecture Overview｜ \nHello! \nHello! I am an artist\, maker\, and self-taught materials researcher. This year I carried out a five-month nomadic artistic research on dye-sensitized solar cell technology across independent laboratories in Europe and Asia. This journey consisted of various activities\, ranging from geeking camps\, community gatherings\, artist studios\, conferences and independent labs to institutional centers and university semiconductor laboratories. I would like to share how\, in the “play” and travels across these dispersed nodes and community ecologies\, “learning” and “school” take shape as a particular state\, and how these artistic networks support my artistic work in terms of both knowledge and resource gathering. Since 2015\, I have been taking part in these independent art networks\, usually once\, twice a year. In 2022\, I received support from the National Culture and Arts Foundation\, which enabled me to complete a small book entitled Non-Governmental Matters. Before that\, my participation in such activities was mostly funded by government grants. In 2019\, I encountered Hackteria and its main founder Marc Dusseiller—a platform that actively promotes open-source art and bio-art exchanges between Europe and Asia. I also became Hackteria’s first and only fellowship. At present\, Hackteria and its partners are exploring how to organize the next form of gathering—something different from traditional residencies\, art festivals\, and gallery industries—seeking ways for art and knowledge to circulate more freely\, more cross-class\, and in a more decentralized manner. This does not mean that we will completely abandon government support\, but it may provide alternative perspectives and possibilities. If you are interested in these international initiatives\, networks\, we sincerely look forward to and warmly welcome your participation! 他的電子織品作品「I Am Very Happy I Hope You Are Too」曾入選台北數位藝術節和澳洲雪黎大學的「Hello World」展覽等國際展覽。他的作品「溫室之心」曾受Hackteria和Regenerative Energy Communities共同組織的「The Energy Giveaway at the Humuspunk Library」展覽展出（2023）。www.shihweichieh.com \nShih Wei-Chieh is an artist\, maker\, self-taught materials scientist\, and activist who fosters international exchange for independent art events. The outer concrete shell protects the pipe from volcanic sulfur corrosion and prevents contamination of the pure spring water—a testament to the wisdom of early engineers. \nHidden Gem: The Sapphire Spring \nThe Sapphire Spring is famed for its endlessly flowing\, gemstone-blue water. Its color originates from groundwater that emerges through hornblende andesite\, creating a brilliant sapphire glow.It is also known as the Third Water Source or Yangming Spring\, as it was historically used as part of the area’s third major water intake. \nTake a stroll through Caoshan and experience a moment of serenity from the depths of your heart. The shimmering spring water is as tranquil as a flawless sapphire—pure\, gentle\, and full of quiet beauty.Take a sip of this naturally filtered “Tiffany Blue” mountain spring\, and feel happiness flow within you. \nTianmu Ancient Trail – Culture & Ecology \nConnecting Tianmu with Yangmingshan\, the Tianmu Ancient Trail runs alongside old water pipelines\, hence also called the Pipeline Trail. The descending path offers a refreshing immersion in nature\, revealing how Taipei’s urban life coexists with the surrounding ecosystem. Join Us on LINE \n點此加入 https://line.ee/xqv5rCl 墾趣旅遊 LINE@ftg-tours \n1. 您想去的行程，但日期不行，私訊我們，幫你揪團 \nAdd FTG Tours on LINE → https://line.ee/xqv5rCl \n\n\nReceive the latest hiking tour updates directly on your phone. \n\n\nInquire about registration and fitness requirements via LINE. \n\n\nCan’t make the scheduled date?
