\nSCCP Grad Expo is founded on the spirit of fostering originality\, providing a stage for students to showcase their creativity\, and deeply understanding industry dynamics to achieve comprehensive industry-academia collaboration. Since its inception in 2012\, it has been held for thirteen years\, involving over 100 schools and 136 departments\, with more than 500 graduation exhibitions and over 2000 graduation works participating. \nGraduation\, for most students\, signifies leaving school and moving towards the next goal in life. However\, there may be some hesitation and confusion about the uncertain future and the expectations of society and family. \nThis year’s festival is themed “吾所_Way”. (Wǔ Suǒ) means “mine” in Chinese\, and combined with the English word “Way”\, the underscore “_” symbolizes importance. It signifies connecting with the direction represented by “Way”\, hoping that graduates will explore their life paths and create their own futures. \nWe hope that graduates will find their direction in life\, whether it is employment\, further studies\, entrepreneurship\, or taking a break to explore life goals. As long as it is the direction you desire\, you should pursue it with determination. During this pursuit\, you may encounter confusion or challenges\, but we hope that graduates will remain fearless and move forward courageously!

Miro and the Experiment of Fine Art Prints in ‘Depth’
\nThe 20th century marked a period of rapid growth for Fine Art Prints in the Western world. Various media and techniques attracted numerous esteemed artists to engage in creative pursuits\, with Joan Miró (1893-1983) standing out as one of the most prominent figures. Throughout his career\, Miró produced over 2000 works of fine art prints. His works primarily utilized intaglio\, lithography\, and carborundum\, with the latter being considered the pinnacle of Miró’s fine art print oeuvre. Employing carborundum\, a silicon carbide compound\, Miró could create on print paper surfaces a relief-like depth and texture resembling velvet\, soft and smooth. Miró began experimenting with carborundum in the 1960s and became deeply fascinated by the unique effects it produced. \nThis spring\, Gallery de sol will showcase Miró’s captivating fine art prints\, delving into his carborundum technique. At the same time\, the exhibition will feature the only carborundum artwork in the career of the Asian art master ZAO Wou-Ki\, as well as innovative works exploring “depth” by three generations of important Taiwanese fine art print artists: LIAO Shiou-Ping\, LIU Zi-Ming\, and YANG Chung-Ming. Starting from the materiality of their mediums\, fine art print artists of the 20th and 21st centuries\, driven by the shifts in their historical period and surroundings\, have brought forth astonishing results through their individual talents and contemplations. Today\, we are fortunate to observe their works assembled together\, revealing the boundless world within the narrow gate of fine art printmaking. \n地點 Venue｜曜畫廊 Gallery de sol\n地址 Address｜台北市松山區敦化北路166號 No. 166\, Dunhua N. SUMMARY:廟宇走讀祈福趣 Temple Tour and Blessing｜少有的日式木造佛寺 The Rare Japanese-Style Wooden Buddhist Temple～圓山護國禪寺 Yuanshan Huguo Rinzai Temple
\nIn Taiwan\, temples are not only centers of worship and places to seek blessings but also cultural and artistic sanctuaries. They can be found in bustling city districts\, hidden within scenic mountains\, or even as the starting point of a street filled with delicious food. Some temples have evolved into social gathering spots. Thus\, planning a pilgrimage can satisfy a variety of needs\, including those related to art\, history\, entertainment\, cuisine\, and spirituality. This unique journey offers an opportunity to cleanse one’s heart and mind\, discovering a guiding light from deep within to reclaim confidence and original intentions. \n“Travel” is more than just visiting tourist spots. It encompasses life experiences\, sharing beautiful things\, self-exploration\, and even the realization of ideals and values. \n活動規劃 Event Planning \n📅活動時間 Date & Time：2024年06月12日（三） (Wednesday) 13:30-16:00 \n🚩集合地點 Meeting Point：圓山捷運站2號出口 Exit 2\, Yuanshan MRT Station \n🚶‍♂️ 路線安排 Route：圓山捷運站2號出口 Yuanshan MRT Station Exit 2→臨濟護國禪寺 Huguo Rinzai Temple→花博新生公園熱帶植物典藏區 Taipei Expo Park Taipei Collectible Botanical Garden→林安泰古厝 Lin An Tai Historical House（賦歸） \n📢活動費用 Fee：定價 Regular price NT$600／限時優惠價 Limited-time discount NT$450／團體優惠價 Group discount NT$390（單次報名2人以上即符合資格 eligible for groups of 2 or more） \n📢費用包含 Fee Includes：講師費、保險 Instructor fee\, insurance \n📢活動講師 Instructor：孫仁明 Sun Ren-ming \n📢講師簡介 Instructor Introduction：【羅德尼身心放鬆術】【美遊記】共同創作者、【中山社大】廟宇走讀祈褔趣課程老師、【大安社大】城市小旅行課程老師、【翰品酒店新莊】－新莊廟街在地文化導覽老師、【104高年級】導覽老師 \n景點介紹 Site Introduction \n「臨濟護國禪寺」山號鎮南山，由時任臺灣總督-兒玉源太郎發起，是臺灣唯一官方冠以「護國」之名的寺院。 \nHuguo Rinzai Temple: With the mountain name Zhennan Mountain\, the temple was initiated by Kodama Gentaro\, the then Governor-General of Taiwan. It is the only temple in Taiwan officially named “Huguo” (Protector of the Nation). Construction began in 1900\, with the beam raised in 1910\, completed in 1911\, and opened in 1912. It served as the root dojo for the Myoshin-ji branch of Rinzai Zen in Taiwan. In 1998\, the Main Hall and Bell Tower were designated as municipal monuments. Restoration began in 2001 with the removal of the tiles\, the beam was raised in 2007\, and the project was completed in 2008. They are typically worn with women’s harem pants. Because the sleeves are relatively short\, they allow for easier movement and can be worn in informal settings as well. During the Meiji to Taisho periods\, Japan saw a Westernization trend and an increase in the education of women. In contrast to the traditional formal kneeling posture\, Western-style classrooms adopted a sitting posture for teaching. The sitting posture made it easier for belts and skirts to become disheveled due to friction with the chair or posture\, leading to the introduction of women’s harem pants. Over time\, they became a symbol of Japanese female students and are commonly seen as attire for university graduation ceremonies and coming-of-age ceremonies. Limited to 15 sets of experiences per day / Patterns chosen on-site\n＊只接受預約/不開放現場 Reservations only / Not available on-site \n \n圖片僅示意，實際花紋以現場為主。 Image for illustration purposes only. Performance at Dadaocheng
\nThis performance will feature a vocalist accompanied by a trio of guitar\, double bass\, and accordion\, presenting enka culture from Japan’s Showa era and popular early Dadaocheng songs. We have invited renowned pop musicians Chen Hong-zhu\, Tan Qi-xu\, Wang Qun-ting and Cai Wei-jing to reinterpret the songs recorded and covered by “The accordion music of Taipei Light Music Band”\, a band formed from the Japanese occupation period to the early Republic era. This group\, active at harvest festivals across Taiwan during the rice industry boom\, brought songs that resonated deeply with Taiwanese people educated in Japanese from 1895 to 1945—particularly those aged 78 and above. \nFor the elderly\, these early Japanese ballads represent “freedom”\, and singing them\, especially in groups\, brings shared joy. Dadaocheng was chosen for this performance because of its historical significance as an economic\, artistic\, cultural and educational hub with strong ties to Japan. Beyond singing\, the Taiwanese learned to play various instruments\, and this event aims to recreate that cultural era with a new performance style. \nWe hope this event will immerse Taiwanese people and society in the everyday life of Taiwan during the Showa period. By listening to musical performances\, observing expressions and movements\, and hearing the dialogues between different instruments played by Taiwanese and Japanese musicians\, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the Showa-era ballad culture and the emotions of the elderly from that time. The goal is to evoke emotions and seek resonance. \n活動聯繫人 Contact Point\n吳佩珊 Ms Wu 0905412283 \n報名 To apply：https://www.accupass.com/eflow/ticket/2404230651331753964100?utm_campaign=accu_feature&utm_medium=home_north&utm_source=Web

French Audiovisual Art Performance
\nThis event features French sound artist Franck Vigroux and visual artist Antoine Schmitt\, who will deliver a performance that fuses minimalistic techniques with intense rhythms\, evolving into roaring noise. This is paired with sophisticated black and white grid lines\, vanishing points\, and cube visual effects to create a breathtaking audiovisual feast. \nThe performance revolves around sequences of high and higher pitches and deep bass\, forming a unique sound structure. This intricate and captivating arrangement of tones contrasts sharply with Schmitt’s visual projections. In the intense musical intervals\, the audience will experience a dreamlike noise atmosphere\, with visuals transforming these moments into rotating white squares and particles seemingly rushing towards the audience. \nThis performance offers an immersive experience\, blurring the boundaries between digital and physical\, sound and light. It pushes the limits of sensory perception and is an event not to be missed. \nA versatile artist whose work spans experimental electronic music\, modern composition\, and musical theater. Vigroux’s music is filled with tectonic tension\, beats\, electronic textures\, and a deeply personal approach to sound exploration. He is active both as a solo performer and as a collaborator\, having worked with artists such as Elliott Sharp\, Mika Vainio\, Reinhold Friedl\, and Ars Nova. Vigroux integrates new media and performance art\, creating interdisciplinary performances and audiovisual concerts in collaboration with visual artists like Antoine Schmitt and Kurt d’Haeseleer. \nAn installation artist\, Schmitt creates works in the form of objects\, installations\, and situations\, exploring various movement processes and questioning their inherent conceptual issues\, whether plastic\, philosophical\, or social. As an inheritor of kinetic art and cybernetic art\, he is nourished by metaphysical science fiction\, continually exploring the dynamic interactions between human nature and reality. A programmer by training\, he uses programming as a contemporary artistic material\, whose active nature forms the core of most of his works\, to reveal and manipulate the forces at play. Schmitt also combines this approach with more established art forms like music\, dance\, architecture\, literature\, and cinema\, collaborating with artists such as Franck Vigroux\, Atau Tanaka\, Vincent Epplay\, Jean-Jacques Birgé\, Delphine Doukhan\, K.Danse\, Patrice Belin\, Don Nino\, Cubenx\, Alberto Sorbelli\, and Matthew Bourne. As a theorist\, lecturer\, and editor of gratin.org\, Schmitt explores the field of program art.
