These include first prizes at the FNAPEC competition in Paris and the Nielsen Chamber Music Competition\, along with the coveted gold medal at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich. As BBC New Generation Artists and ECHO Rising Stars\, the Arod Quartet has earned its place as one of the most dynamic and internationally acclaimed string quartets of our time. Their first visit to Taiwan in 2024 was a sold-out sensation\, hailed by critics as “the most spectacular performance in the history of the Eslite Chamber Music Festival.” \nTo celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary in 2025\, and in response to overwhelming audience demand\, the Arod Quartet will return to Taiwan for a grand celebration at the National Concert Hall. This performance offers more music lovers the chance to experience the quartet’s remarkable artistry. \nThe program begins with Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 1 in F Major\, Op. 18\, No. 1\, a work that inherits the elegance of Haydn and Mozart while showcasing Beethoven’s unique emotional language. Filled with lyrical\, operatic themes\, this piece is a quintessential example of early Romanticism. \nNext\, the quartet presents Bartók’s String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor\, Sz. 67\, often hailed as the “Bible of 20th-Century Chamber Music.” This masterpiece blends Hungarian folk melodies with contemporary harmonic techniques\, creating an explosive and passionate experience that the Arod Quartet is uniquely equipped to deliver. \nThe finale features Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 5 in E-flat Major\, Op. 44\, No. 3\, a signature piece of the ensemble. She studied under Daneil Marillier\, Principal Double Bassist of Opéra Bastille in Paris. She actively participates in a wide range of genres from classical and theater to contemporary and Argentine tango. In Paris\, she studied and performed with Gennevilliers Tango Orquesta.
