SUMMARY:新生盃桌球賽 Freshman Ping Pong Cup
DESCRIPTION:學期即將邁入第五週，台北校區桌球社特別舉辦「新生盃桌球錦標賽」，讓新生們能藉由運動競技更多彼此認識並增進友誼。這場充滿活力與挑戰的比賽將於10／16（三）18:00-21:00在室內體育館桌球場舉行，歡迎113學年度所有大一新生踴躍參加。 \n此次賽事提供了新生們展現運動才能的機會，同時也是促進新生彼此互動的絕佳平台。不論是否為桌球社社員，只要對桌球有興趣，都可以參加這場競技盛會，展示球技並爭奪錦標。比賽分為個人單打，預賽將採分組循環三戰兩勝制，晉級者將進入複賽進行單敗淘汰賽，複賽採五戰三勝制。此外，報名選手須在比賽當天18:00-18:15進行現場抽籤，未到者將由社團代抽。 \n比賽的前三名選手將獲得獎狀以資鼓勵，無論冠軍或季軍，都是對桌球熱情的一種肯定。活動當天還提供飲料，讓選手們在比賽過程中能夠保持活力；比賽報名至10／11（五）12:00截止；桌球社社員免繳報名費，非社員則需繳交50元報名費。更多比賽詳情與即時公告，請密切關注桌球社的Line群組和IG【mcupingpong_tp】。如有任何疑問，也可直接私訊IG詢問。 \n新生們！快快來挽起袖子，加入這場桌球對決吧！ \nAs the semester enters its fifth week\, the Taipei Campus Ping Pong Club is excited to host the Freshman Ping Pong Championship\, offering freshmen a chance to meet new people and build friendships through sports. This energetic and challenging competition will take place on Wednesday\, October 16\, from 18:00 to 21:00 at Indoor Sports Center Table Tennis Court. All first-year students of the 113th academic year are encouraged to participate. \nThis event provides a great opportunity for freshmen to showcase their athletic talents while also serving as an excellent platform for interaction and bonding. Whether or not you are a member of Ping Pong Club\, anyone with an interest in table tennis is welcome to join and compete for the championship. The competition will feature individual singles matches\, with the preliminary round being a group round-robin format (best of three games). Winners will advance to the knockout stage\, which will be single elimination (best of five games). Registered players must draw lots on-site between 18:00 and 18:15 on the day of the competition. If absent\, a club representative will draw on their behalf. \nThe top three players will receive certificates in recognition of their efforts\, celebrating the passion for ping pong\, whether champion or third place. Refreshments will be available to keep participants energized throughout the event. The registration deadline is Friday\, October 11\, at 12:00. Club members are exempt from the registration fee\, while non-members must pay a NT$50 registration fee. DESCRIPTION:當我們談論「體育」的時候，談的是什麼？當我們觀看「運動」的時候，看的又是什麼？日常生活中的運動時刻，在休閒、健身與競技之際，是否也伴隨著諸多非關動作的經驗連結？適逢2024年巴黎奧運，緊鄰鶯歌運動中心的新北市美術館以「體育課」（In Terms of Sport）為題，策劃一檔結合場內（遊樂場、體育館）與場外（城市、街頭）運動的主題展覽，意圖拆解與挑戰當代社會關於「體育」的主流想像。 \n從生活中的體育時刻出發，「體育課」邀請公眾走入新北市美術館的藝術街坊，共同感受關於運動的多重敘事。在這裡，我們將體驗非常規的運動場；閱讀屬於臺灣的體育故事；遇見藤吉維．尼基．恩科西（Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi）作品裡出神與隱身的各國國家代表隊；端看羅智信〈看我舞動〉和楊季涓「只是玩⼀場遊戲」的自轉運動；踏上張幼欣取材臺灣山林的動態音景；與阿莫．帕特爾（Amol K. Patil）的印度勞動者歌聲前行；隨著芭芭拉．瓦格納 & 班傑明．德．布爾卡（Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca）來自巴西街頭的〈SWINGUERRA〉起舞，而後望向加布里埃拉．安戈蒂瓊斯（Gabriella Angotti-Jones）《我只是想衝浪》眼前的加州汪洋。這些交織著身分認同、殖民背景、政治情勢與社會議題的展覽敘事，是另一種運動日常，也是一堂堂發生在美術館的，不一樣的「體育課」。 \nWhen we talk about sports\, what do we talk about? What do we truly observe when we watch sports? Do moments of physical activity in daily life—spanning recreation\, workout\, and athletics—entail experiences that revolve not really around movement? Coinciding with the 2024 Paris Olympics\, the New Taipei City Art Museum\, adjacent to the Yingge Civil Sports Center\, is presenting “In Terms of Sport”\, an exhibition that integrates indoor (playgrounds\, stadiums) and outdoor (cities\, streets) sports. This thematic exhibition aims to dismantle and challenge contemporary society’s mainstream perceptions of “sports”. \nStarting from the everyday moment in sports\, “In Terms of Sport” invites the public to visit the Creative Cluster of the New Taipei City Art Museum and experience the multiple narratives surrounding sports. Here\, we will explore unconventional sports venues\, read stories of sports in Taiwan\, encounter the impeccable and invisible national team in Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi’s works\, witness the rotational movement in Luo Jr-shin’s Look at Me Grooving and Yang Chi-chuan’s “Just Playing a Game”\, step into the dynamic soundscape of Taiwan’s mountains and forests by Sayun Chang\, move forward amidst the laborers’ song by Amol K. Patil\, dance to Bárbara Wagner & Benjamin de Burca’s SWINGUERRA from the Brazilian streets\, and gaze at the California’s ocean in Gabriella Angotti-Jones’s I Just Wanna Surf.
