Centered around the theme of “Getting to Know the Department and Building Class Unity”\, the event aims to help freshmen bond\, understand the department’s culture\, and create their very first shared memory as members of the IM family. \nThe two-day\, one-night itinerary features team-building games\, themed challenges\, and evening social activities\, all guided by senior students who will lead ice-breaking sessions and share their experiences with courses and campus life. The camp provides an ideal opportunity for freshmen to build friendships and teamwork in a relaxed\, lively setting. \nParticipation fees are as follows: NT$3\,250 per person for individual registration (free for those who have paid the departmental fee)\, or NT$2\,950 per person for group registration of three or more students who haven’t paid the departmental fee (payment at S409). Participants will embark on a mysterious journey into the legendary realm of Ming Ge Hua Zi\, where they must awaken the memories of the ancient guardians and unite to defeat the dark spirits\, restoring peace to the land.The registration fee is NT$2\,500\, but students who have paid the departmental fee may join for free. For those eager to meet new friends\, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Three orientation camps will be held simultaneously this weekend (September 20–21) at the Taipei Campus\, organized by the Departments of Finance\, International Business\, Accounting\, and the College of Communication. \nEach department has designed its camp theme and activities with unique creativity. Department of Finance will host its orientation camp\, “Golden Sky”\, at Tenglong Hot Spring Villa in Miaoli\, where freshmen will journey through the mysteries of fate and embark on an adventure through time. Meanwhile\, Departments of International Business and Accounting will jointly hold “The Magical Kingdom of Accounting: Casting Spells Together” at the same venue\, offering participants the chance not only to connect with peers from their own department but also to make friends across departments. Lastly\, School of Communication will stage “The Fourteen Nursery Rhymes of Horror” at Longmen Camping Area in New Taipei City\, leading freshmen into a mysterious journey to uncover the eerie secrets behind haunting nursery rhymes. \nFreshmen who have already registered are reminded to pay close attention to the meeting points and departure times announced by each student association and be sure to arrive on time. The exhibition presents five themed reading routes—Freshman Life Station\, Interpersonal Relations Station\, World Exploration Station\, Creative Inspiration Station and Critical Expression Station—to help freshmen quickly adapt to university life while broadening their reading horizons. Participants are encouraged to make full use of the inter-library borrowing and return services across the three schools. \n\n\n“U3 Online Film Festival” will also take place during the same period on Vision Media\, featuring a curated selection of 20 films related to the event themes\, providing students with valuable resources for self-learning and growth. \n\n\n“Reading Express X “U” ‘Easy Travel with U3’” invites all faculty and students to hop aboard the reading train. After a whole summer of preparation\, the student associations of each department are eager to welcome your enthusiastic participation. \nThe Orientation Camps will kick off starting this weekend. First up\, the School of Communication from Taipei Campus will lead the way on September 14-15 (Saturday-Sunday) at Longmen Camping Site in New Taipei City\, where freshmen will explore the thrilling and mysterious challenge of “The Secret of Ward 13”. Following that\, Department of Risk Management and Insurance and Department of International Business will jointly host a camp on September 21-22 (Saturday-Sunday) at Tenglong Hot Spring Resort in Miaoli\, inviting students to enter a magical realm and share wonderful moments together. On September 28-29 (Saturday-Sunday)\, Department of Finance and Department of Accounting will keep the excitement alive\, inviting everyone to embark on a treasure hunt on “Gold Society Island”\, exploring endless possibilities of university life with new friends. Simultaneously\, Department of Business Administration will host their grand orientation camp at Qiding Resort\, where students are encouraged to dive in with full passion. \nBut the fun doesn’t end there! The camp promises an exciting lineup\, including challenging team games\, a heartwarming evening party\, and various interactive activities. These are all designed to help freshmen quickly adapt to campus life and build lasting friendships with senior students. \nAttention\, College of Law freshmen! Those interested in participating in the camp must submit the registration form and complete the parental consent form included in the freshman packet. On the day of the freshman orientation\, please submit the consent form and the camp fee to the student association members. If you cannot attend the orientation\, you can visit the department office at a later time to submit the documents and fees. The payment dates are set for September 12-13 and September 19-20. If you are unable to attend the camp\, you may apply for a 50% refund between September 20-27. Please confirm that the department office is staffed before visiting. DESCRIPTION:大學生活的挑戰即將展開，各位大一新生們是否已經做好迎接新生活的準備了呢？為了幫助能夠順利融入大學環境，系學會精心策劃了一次獨特的宿營活動，這將是大學生活中的一次寶貴經歷！這不僅是一個能快速適應大學生活的機會，還能結識其他三系的新朋友！ \n生科、電子、商設、品設，四系強強聯手舉辦聯合迎新宿營「尬電的騙子 傷透我身心」9／14-15在苗栗騰龍溫泉山莊，活動包含了水關、陸關及RPG遊戲，各式各樣的遊戲等著各位來挑戰！ \n報名時間即日起至9／10（二）23:59速洽各系的系學會，填寫報名表即可完成報名；需繳交報名費用，有繳系費者$600，未繳系費者$3\,000，繳交時間及地點待定中，名額有限，先搶先贏喔！期待各位新生的參與，一起開啟充滿活力的大學生活！ \nThe challenges of university life are about to begin! Are you ready to embrace this exciting new chapter as freshmen? To help you smoothly transition into university\, the student associations have carefully planned a unique orientation camp that will be a valuable experience during your university journey! This is not only a great opportunity to quickly adapt to university life but also a chance to meet new friends from three other departments! \nThe departments of Biotechnology\, Electronic Engineering\, Commercial Design and Product Design have joined forces to organize a joint freshmen orientation camp titled “The Shocking Deceiver Who Broke My Heart 💔” on 9/14-15 at the Tenglong Hot Spring Resort in Miaoli. The event will feature a variety of water and land-based challenges\, as well as RPG games\, with many exciting activities awaiting your participation! \nRegistration is open from now until 9/10 (Tuesday) at 23:59. Contact your department’s student association and fill out the registration form to sign up. A registration fee is required: NT$600 for those who have paid their department fee\, and NT$3\,000 for those who haven’t. Payment details\, including time and location\, will be announced soon.
