This initiative serves as the artery of knowledge\, connecting the three universities along the MRT line\, symbolizing a learning journey without spatial limits. By combining the core concepts of “walking tours” and “knowledge”\, the series aims to encourage faculty and students to integrate reading into everyday life—transforming learning from something confined indoors to something that can happen anytime\, anywhere. It invites participants to experience the dual joys of reading and urban exploration\, infusing new energy into university life. \nThe program features four activity series\, offering freshmen diverse opportunities for learning and discovery: \n\n\n“Walking the Smart Line\, Knowledge on the Go X U3 Library Joint Exhibition” will run from September 18 to October 9 simultaneously at the libraries of all three universities. The exhibition presents five themed reading routes—Freshman Life Station\, Interpersonal Relations Station\, World Exploration Station\, Creative Inspiration Station and Critical Expression Station—to help freshmen quickly adapt to university life while broadening their reading horizons. Participants are encouraged to make full use of the inter-library borrowing and return services across the three schools. \n\n\n“U3 Online Film Festival” will also take place during the same period on Vision Media\, featuring a curated selection of 20 films related to the event themes\, providing students with valuable resources for self-learning and growth. \n\n\n“Reading Express X “U” ‘Easy Travel with U3’” invites all faculty and students to hop aboard the reading train. During the event period\, anyone who borrows three physical books will be eligible for a lucky draw to win a 3D Strap EasyCard. \n\n\nLastly\, the “Freshman Challenge”\, designed for new and transfer students\, will run from September 18 to November 21. By completing fun challenges\, students can easily explore various library resources. Participants will have the chance to win exclusive gifts and grand prizes. DESCRIPTION:桃園校區資管系學會將於10/25-26前進苗栗騰龍溫泉山莊，舉辦大一新生迎新宿營，桃園校區最後一檔壓軸宿營活動，資管系學會以「更快認識系上、建立班級默契」為核心，帶領新生在大學生活的起點認識彼此、熟悉系上文化，留下屬於資管人的第一份共同記憶。 \n兩天一夜行程規劃團康遊戲、主題闖關、夜間交流等多元活動，由學長姊帶隊破冰、分享修課與生活經驗，在輕鬆氛圍中建立情誼與合作默契。費用方面：個人報名NT$3\,250（已繳系費者可免費參加）；未繳系費者三人以上相揪報名，每人NT$2\,950（至S409繳費）。主辦將於行前公布集合與交通資訊，敬請留意相關通知。 \n另，資管系學會提醒參加的新生們，請自備個人沐浴用品並準時集合，以確保行程順利。更多活動資訊、行前公告與報名相關問題，可逕洽資管系學會IG【mcu_im】或聯繫總召／副召。想先感受宿營氛圍，也可參考去年亮點影片：https://youtu.be/4PkTB_ap1XQ。 \n這場宿營不只是迎新，更是一場專屬資管新生的青春冒險，一起用笑聲與回憶寫下大學生活最初的篇章。 \nDepartment of Information Management will hold its Freshmen Orientation Camp from October 25 to 26 at Tenglong Hot Spring Villa in Miaoli\, marking the grand finale of Taoyuan Campus’ series of orientation camps. Centered around the theme of “Getting to Know the Department and Building Class Unity”\, the event aims to help freshmen bond\, understand the department’s culture\, and create their very first shared memory as members of the IM family. \nThe two-day\, one-night itinerary features team-building games\, themed challenges\, and evening social activities\, all guided by senior students who will lead ice-breaking sessions and share their experiences with courses and campus life. The camp provides an ideal opportunity for freshmen to build friendships and teamwork in a relaxed\, lively setting. \nParticipation fees are as follows: NT$3\,250 per person for individual registration (free for those who have paid the departmental fee)\, or NT$2\,950 per person for group registration of three or more students who haven’t paid the departmental fee (payment at S409). Details regarding the meeting point and transportation will be announced before departure—please stay tuned for updates. \nThe association also reminds participants to bring personal toiletries and arrive on time to ensure the trip runs smoothly.
