To help faculty and students better understand the interaction and limitations between AI and legal regulations\, the Teaching and Learning Resource Center has invited Attorney Pan Jun-Ting to deliver two thematic lectures in October: \n\n\nTaipei Campus (Oct 17\, Fri): “Deconstructing the Scope and Boundaries of AI Usage under Current Laws” \n\n\nTaoyuan Campus (Oct 31\, Fri): “Risks of AI Usage—Analyzing Legal Insufficiencies and Preventive Measures”All faculty members and students are warmly invited to register and participate. \n\n\nThe Taipei session will be held on October 17 (Fri)\, 13:30–15:00\, in B901\, under the theme “Deconstructing the Scope and Boundaries of AI Usage under Current Laws”. Starting from the observation that “technological development often outpaces legal regulation”\, Attorney Pan will guide participants in exploring the legal boundaries of AI applications. To help students grasp the essentials of this foundational subject\, the School of Law Student Association\, in collaboration with Get Law\, will host a special lecture titled “Stepping Out of Criminal Law Beginner’s Village: Learning How to Write Essay Questions from Scratch” on Wednesday\, October 22\, from 12:10 to 13:00 in B401. The event will feature Attorney Chang Jing-Jung\, a renowned Get Law criminal law instructor and NTU Law alumnus\, who will personally guide first-year students through the crucial first step in understanding criminal law. \nThe lecture is primarily designed for first-year students in Department of Law and Department of Financial Law. Mr. Chang will explain key concepts in general criminal law—such as legal interest\, elements of a crime\, and the three-step analysis—in a clear and engaging way. DESCRIPTION:在數位浪潮中，越來越多原住民青年以自媒體作為文化發聲的管道。為讓同學了解自媒體如何成為文化傳播的新力量，桃園校區原住民族學生資源中心將於10/23（四）12:00-15:00在M104會議室舉辦「從部落到雲端——原住民族自媒體的文化傳播力量」講座，特邀布農族Podcaster Ispalakan Umav親臨分享她的創作歷程與心路故事。 \n此次，講座中主講人Ispalakan將以自身經營Podcast的經驗，分享如何以聲音與影像記錄文化記憶，並將部落的故事帶進更多人的生活中。她將談到如何將真實的生活經驗、語言與文化思考轉化為引人入勝的內容，展現原住民青年在網路時代中推廣文化的創意與韌性。 \n活動提供精美餐點，參與者可核公假，亦可折抵原委會獎助金時數，讓同學在學習之餘也能獲得實質回饋。原資中心誠摯邀請全校師生報名參加，從「雲端」的角度感受「部落」的故事力量，一起看見文化傳承的新樣貌。 \nIn the digital era\, an increasing number of Indigenous youth are using self-media as a channel for cultural expression. To help students understand how self-media has become a new force for cultural communication\, Indigenous Students’ Resource Center (Taoyuan Campus) will host a lecture titled “From the Tribe to the Cloud — The Cultural Power of Indigenous Self-Media” on Thursday\, October 23\, from 12:00 to 15:00 in M104. The event will feature Bunun podcaster Ispalakan Umav\, who will share her creative journey and personal insights. \nIn this lecture\, Ispalakan will draw on her experience running a podcast to discuss how sound and visual storytelling can preserve cultural memory and bring the stories of Indigenous communities into everyday life. She will also explore how real-life experiences\, language\, and cultural reflection can be transformed into engaging content—showcasing the creativity and resilience of Indigenous youth in promoting their heritage in the digital age. \nThe event will provide light refreshments. Participants may apply for official leave and count attendance hours toward the Council of Indigenous Peoples’ scholarship program.
