DESCRIPTION:冬夜初降，校園即將迎來一場電力滿載的盛事。電機資訊學院將於12/17（三）18:00在桃園校區體育一館羽球場舉辦年度大型活動「資訊之夜—code球扣不到，資好被電爆」，由電機系、人智系、資管系、資工系四系共同策畫，以強勢舞台與滿滿創意陪伴同學度過十二月最熱鬧的一晚。本次活動推出四款系別限定門票，每款限量100張，歡迎同學提前預購、入場同歡。 \n資訊之夜以多元演出與互動活動為核心，包含各系舞台表演、小遊戲體驗及現場抽獎，讓參與者在音樂、燈光與掌聲中感受期末前最純粹的青春能量。門票售價為NT$150，已繳系費者可享第一張優惠價NT$100（第二張恢復原價）。門票領取將於12/8–12/11的10:00–14:00於各系攤位辦理，提醒同學務必在期限內完成取票，以免錯過活動。 \n電機資訊學院表示，今年的資訊之夜希望成為四系同學彼此交流、展現活力的共同舞台。無論是想欣賞表演、參加互動，或單純期待抽獎驚喜，都歡迎同學帶著好心情加入這場冬季限定的校園派對。 \n更多最新資訊可至Instagram【tzu_damn_nt】查詢。 \nAs winter settles in\, the campus is about to welcome a highly charged celebration. School of Electrical and Information Engineering will host its annual large-scale event “Information Night — Code It or Get Shocked” on December 17 (Wed)\, 18:00 at Taoyuan Campus Gymnasium I (Badminton Courts). The event is jointly planned by four departments — Electrical Engineering\, Applied Artificial Intelligence\, Information Management\, and Computer Science & Information Engineering — bringing an energetic stage and full creativity to light up the most exciting night of December. Four department-exclusive ticket designs will be available\, each limited to 100 pieces\, and students are encouraged to purchase in advance and join the fun. \nThe evening features diverse performances and interactive activities\, including department stage showcases\, mini-games\, and live prize draws — inviting participants to immerse themselves in music\, lights\, and applause\, and enjoy the pure youthful energy before finals. Tickets are priced at NT$150. Students who have already paid department fees may purchase one ticket at the discounted price of NT$100 (a second ticket reverts to the original price). Ticket pickup will be available at each department booth from December 8–11\, 10:00–14:00. These relationships—rooted in both sensory thresholds and human perception—push the audience into unforeseen perceptual states through processes of deconstruction and reconstruction. \nArtist | TAPAS HUMI \nAtayal visual artist\, motion designer\, and digital image creator; founder of Pinsbkan Digital Art.Raised between urban environments and indigenous communities\, he creates multilayered digital visuals that combine daily life experiences. Skilled in matching music with visuals across electronic music events\, animation\, film\, advertising\, and exhibitions. Much of his recent work focuses on indigenous culture\, identity\, and experimental performance. \nArtist | Luca Bonaccorsi \nItalian-born director\, digital artist\, and musician (1994). His works explore relationships between technology and new media\, and how technology affects everyday life. Now based in Taiwan\, he produces video art and multimedia performances. \nArtists | Tung Yu x Sheng Kai \nSheng Kai (Cheng Kai Chuang) — Influenced by ambient electronics\, noise art\, and improvisation\, he works extensively in experimental sound\, design\, and scoring. Interested in field recordings and cassette techniques\, his style lies between sound and music. After touring Japan in 2024\, he released his debut album Cephalopod\, and often performs using ambisonics\, multichannel systems\, and modular synthesis. \nChappie Liu — Project manager and audiovisual creator with roots in street dance culture. DESCRIPTION:節目簡介 Program Introduction \n在虛擬世界中，空間與時間被切割、壓縮與延展，彷彿成了一層層可被讀取的切片，身體不再有固定的位置，而是跟隨著失衡的記憶斷層，懸浮在虛實之間。 \n身處於網路與數位技術高速發展的世代，我們早已熟練地運用各式媒介捕捉與記錄周遭事物。然而，在這樣不斷更新的洪流中，《KINGDOM》正試圖邀請觀眾，一同回望那些被遺落、被忽視、被淘汰的事物。那些日常的顯而易見，正是我們不曾記得的，也正是如此它長出了自己的個性、色調與溫度。 \n《KINGDOM》是一場XR跨域共構的實驗性表演作品，結合了3D掃描技術與動態捕捉系統於VR之中，透過現場多螢幕的拼湊與舞者的身體語彙，將破碎、液化且不完整的物件掃描檔案，構築出一座無人居住的數位王國，在不斷崩解與重組的數位環境裡，不停地適應新的認知與環境。 \nIn the virtual realm\, space and time are sliced\, compressed\, and stretched—turning into layers of data that can be read and replayed. Yet within this constantly renewing current\, KINGDOM invites audiences to turn back and reflect on the things that have been lost\, overlooked\, or discarded. His work deconstructs and reconstructs movement vocabulary\, utilizing the body as both a vessel and a medium. Join a thousand participants on an epic stage. \n✶ A 6-hour immersive party—experience close interactions with artists and create unforgettable moments together. \n✶ A utopian realm where electronic music\, video art\, and live performances collide. \n“I found absolute freedom in rave.”  — Łukasz Twarkowski  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n《共和國》是一場騷動。一次政變。一把利刃。 \n森林的細語和電子樂的海嘯。製片廠拆到一半的布景。 \n劇院的自旋。憑空造鎮的野心。流亡的國度。一架反照觀眾內心渴望的本我機器。 \n北藝中心將打通「大劇院」與「藍盒子」兩個劇院空間，成為一座偌大的「超級大劇院」迎接盧卡斯．塔沃柯夫斯基（Łukasz Twarkowski）的獨立建國。他將率領一幫藝術家，動員超過百人，在此成立一座柏拉圖致力將之驅逐的《共和國》。這個概念源自18世紀末的保拉瓦共和國（The Pavlov Republic）。它由一位神父創建，他與800位農民擁有自己的軍隊、金錢、劇院、學校，以及某種形式的醫療保健系統。最終，烏托邦並未實現，但這仍是一個可敬的構想。 \n當人類面對大疫襲來，保證取消，權威退駕，生活變得越來越可疑，一個母體般的影像世界轟然環繞，越追求自由，越感到痛苦。曾幾何時，我們活在一個已然發生的未來？ \n盧卡斯繼續探問：如果我們可以完全忘記工作一年，會發生什麼？ \nRespublika is a commotion\, a coup\, a sharp sword\, the whisper of the forest and tsunami in techno music\, the half-dismantled film studio set\, the self-rotation of a theatre\, the ambition to build a town out of thin air\, the realm for the exiles\, and the machine of reflecting audience’s inner desire. \nTaipei Performing Arts Center will connect its Grand Theater and Blue Box to form the massive-scale Super Theater for the independent nation built by Łukasz Twarkowski\, who leads a band of artists and mobilizes over a hundred of people to establish the “Respublika” (republic) which Plato would have endeavored to expel.  The concept comes from “The Pavlov Republic” in the late 18th Century\, where its founder\, a catholic priest\, gathers 800 peasants to form a community with its own army\, currency\, theatre\, school and some kind of medical healthcare system.  As a utopia unmaterialized\, “The Pavlov Republic” still provides an admirable inspiration. \nWhen humans face pandemic threats\, with assurance abolished and authority invalidated\, life becomes more suspicious than ever and suddenly finds it in a matrix-like world of flooded images.  The pursuit of freedom thus brings more suffering.  Since when have we lived in a future which has already happened? \nŁukasz continues with the question: what will happen if we can forget about work for a whole year? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n為了組建《共和國》，盧卡斯面試來自歐洲各劇院，超過百人的創作者，最終匯集15位演員、作曲家、舞台設計師、戲服設計師、編劇、DJ，加入這場實驗，帶領成員們在立陶宛森林中建立與世隔絕的「公社（Community）」。這場實驗最終並未成功。五年後，世界更加混亂，公社成員們終於理解那當時發生的事情的意義，決定製作一場演出，總結人類可能的未來以及存在的意義。 \n《共和國》在超級大劇院構建了一個微型的烏托邦，裡面有廚房、酒吧、桑拿房、紐奧良拖車、太空船、看台，以及配有DJ台和舞池的主舞臺。長達六小時的沉浸式體驗，邀請觀眾穿越三個階段，從旁觀者變身為共和國的公民。第一部份接近展覽，人們在所有空間遊逛，了解共和國的地理布局；第二部份結合現場表演和錄像裝置，觀眾面臨兩個選擇：透過大螢幕觀看，或直接進入房間體驗。當一切框架都卸除之後，觀眾將同時置身螢幕與房間混合的第三類空間，體驗虛實相互侵占的奇妙感覺。 \n第三部份是場盛大的派對：立牆被完全夷平，霓虹落下，《共和國》把敘事的權柄交還觀眾，邀請填空：我要____。我要信仰。我要自由。我要做夢。我要愛。我要潘朵拉盒子底部那抹微小的希望。DJ、演員與觀眾進入本能似的舞動中。長時間的舞蹈看似毫無產出，與資本社會強調努力的價值觀背道而馳。然而，即使努力，人們也未必能得到想要的。於是人們選擇狂歡，以此反抗絕望的現狀，將他們帶回古老的夢幻世界。 \n藝術家以過去式描述那未曾發生卻彷彿早已發生的世界，以Techno電子樂、銳舞派對（Rave）和錄像藝術，將這一場龐大夢境聯繫起來。DJ與表演者持續不斷播放音樂，勾攝為現實所困的人們，一場通宵達旦的銳舞派對（Rave），讓《共和國》成了短暫庇護所。 \n夢中的天堂最終將抵達現實，再瑰麗的伊甸園都會變成地獄。《共和國》的樂音在變調之前戛然而止。那一瞬間，我們感到絕對的恍惚，及絕對的自由。 \nFor the founding of Respublika\, Łukasz interviewed over a hundred of artists from theatres across Europe. The final group\, 15 people in total\, included actors\, composers\, set designers\, costume designers\, playwrights and DJs\, who joined Łukasz in this experimental project to create an isolated community in a Lithuanian forest. Eventually\, the experiment failed with the dissolution of the community; and another few years later\, since the world became increasingly chaotic\, the community members finally realized the significance of what they experienced during that time\, so they agreed to produce a stage performance to conclude a possible future for humans and its existential purpose. \nRespublika builds a microscopic utopia at Super Theatre\, where you can find kitchen\, bar\, sauna\, New Orleans trailer\, spaceship\, spectator stand\, and its main stage consisting of a DJ panel and dance floor. The 6-hour immersive experience invites audience to go through its three parts from purely spectators to citizens of Respublika. The first part adopts the form of an exhibition\, allowing visitors free access to the whole space so they can know better about the geographical layout of Respublika. The second part is a combination of live performance and video installation. Visitors are given two choices: to watch it on the big screen or to experience it in the room. When the framework is completely taken down\, the audience will find themselves in the “third space”\, a mixture of screens and rooms\, characterized with a strange feeling of the juxtaposition of virtual illusion and reality. \nThe third part is a grand party: with the standing walls fully dismantled and neon lights descending\, Respublika hands the scepter of storytelling back to the audience to finish the “I want” sentence: I want faith. I want freedom. I want to dream. I want love. I want the tiny hope at the bottom of Pandora’s box. DJs\, actors\, and the audience begin to dance and move instinctively. The durational dance seems to produce nothing and goes against the values of an effort-driven capitalist society. However\, your hard work does not always bring you what you desire\, so people choose to rave as a resistance to the current helpless situation and travel back to the ancient fantasy. \nThe artist describes the future world in past tense as if it has already happened\, connecting to the immense dream-realm via techno\, rave and radio art. The DJs and performers play the music nonstop to lure those trapped in reality\, while the all-night rave party makes Respublika a temporary shelter. \nThe paradise in the dream will eventually reach reality\, turning the most splendid Garden of Eden into hell. The melody of Respublika stops playing before it becomes distorted. During this pause\, Cheng Chung-lung\, who had just taken over as the artistic director of Cloud Gate\, rethought the relationship between man and nature during the quarantine period after completing a 63-day European tour to race against the epidemic. He decided to create a work that came from nature. \nWhen he was a child\, Zheng Zonglong’s father often took him to Nanshi River to fish. The river meandered through the rolling mountains\, the whisper of the wind accompanied by the chirping of mountain birds\, and the young boy adjusted his rhythm and steps according to the terrain\, opening his ears to capture the rhythm of the surroundings. When he was conceiving Dingguang\, he decided to take the dancers to climb the Hehuan North Peak. Despite the advice of others\, they still chose to explore with their bodies\, looking for the original rhythm in the mountains and forests\, and absorbing the instinct of movement. [Extended reading: Decided to go up\, really going to the mountains! ] \nBack in the rehearsal room of Cloud Gate\, Zheng Zonglong invited Zhang Xuan\, who is a classical musician\, to record the chirping of insects and birds\, the sound of wind and rain in the mountains and forests with five-line music scores. The dancers learned to combine the tone and rhythm by reading the music scores. The musician Lin Qiang used minimalist music to harmonize the overall sound field and inject soul into the dance. \nZheng Zonglong abandoned the strong visual effects of the stage and chose to surround the stage with pure white curtains to create a seemingly boundless pure space. During the 65-minute dance\, the dancers continued to dance and sing\, condensing into moments of mountains and forests\, showing extraordinary concentration and perseverance. Torben Ibs\, a senior dance critic for German magazine Tanz\, was impressed by the work and praised it as “the dancers’ amazing performance\, showing the strength worthy of the world’s top dance company.” \n“Dingguang is about letting the dancer shine through the body and voice.” Zheng Zonglong believes that the moment of concentration and gaze is the moment of shining. He has won the bronze medal in No Ballet Contemporary Choreography Competition in Germany and the first prize in MASDANZA Choreography Competition in Spain. \nIn 2020\, Dingguang combines the body and nature\, and the choreographer praised it as “exquisitely crafted and worth watching again and again”. With his richly varied and expressive musical style\, Schubert sets to music 24 poems by German poet Wilhelm Müller\, portraying the journey of a heartbroken wanderer. \nIn the production\, Winterreise is reimagined by Dark Eyes Performance Lab’s artistic director and poet Hung Hung\, who brings its subtle poetry to life. In addition to presenting this tale of doomed love as a complete stage narrative\, he charts a course from contemporary Taiwan to an apocalyptic future\, recasting the work as an allegory of civilization and societal evolution. \nThe entire production transforms the stage into a dreamlike spectacle where sun dogs\, green fields and destruction intertwine. Characters survive\, play\, work and struggle in this world\, while fleeting glimpses of hope occasionally emerge. Schubert’s exquisite and profound music becomes the greatest source of comfort and ultimate redemption. The stage design by Liao Yin-chiao\, in collaboration with images and lighting\, creates an incredible visual experience of light and shadow. The dance segments\, choreographed by Yu Yan-fang and performed by Tian Xiao-ci\, offer a unique perspective. What audiences most anticipate is the presentation of the production in two versions! \nJourney into the Apocalypse will be presented in two versions: the classical version\, A Timeless Reproduction of the Classic\, featuring baritone Zhao Fang-hao performing Schubert’s original German version with piano accompaniment; and the jazz version\, Rebirth through Jazz\, with jazz singer Mars Lin (Lin Li-hui) performing a new Taiwanese version arranged by Xie Ming-yan. DESCRIPTION:本週末（3/22）銘傳大學迎來68週年校慶，校方精心策劃一系列慶祝活動，凝聚全體師生與校友情感。其中，校慶大會特別邀請激勵歌手林政緯校友蒞臨演唱，以他的奮鬥故事與動人歌聲，激勵銘傳人勇敢追夢，展現「銘傳68，英姿煥發」的精神風貌。 \n林政緯畢業於銘傳財金系，曾是校內風雲人物，擔任親善大使、財金系學會會長，並獲選為國際先生。然而，2007年因一次意外導致頸椎受傷，全身癱瘓。面對突如其來的挑戰，他沒有放棄，歷經兩年復健後重返校園，並於2010年獲頒「銘傳精神獎」，表彰他堅持不懈、勇敢迎戰人生的精神。 \n這次受邀回到母校，在校慶舞台上演唱，這位「不能走路卻會飛翔的翅膀男孩」，將以音樂訴說自己的生命歷程，用有限的身體創造無限價值，並以真摯歌聲鼓舞現場師生。當天，他將與全盲音樂人洪新智，一同帶來〈銘傳尚勇〉與〈你是我的眼〉兩首歌曲，用歌聲詮釋勇氣與堅毅，展現對生命的熱情與希望。 \n銘傳大學68年來始終秉持卓越辦學精神，培育無數優秀人才，並積極推動多元教育發展。今年校慶主題「銘傳68，英姿煥發」，不僅象徵學校蓬勃的發展動能，更希望透過林政緯的故事，讓銘傳師生在面對挑戰時，都能懷抱信念、不斷前行，為自己的人生譜寫更加精彩篇章。 \nThis weekend (March 22)\, MCU celebrates its 68th anniversary with a series of specially planned events to bring together faculty\, students and alumni. One of the highlights of the celebration will be the anniversary ceremony\, featuring a special performance by inspirational singer and MCU alumnus Lin Cheng-Wei. Through his powerful life story and heartfelt music\, Lin will inspire the MCU community to pursue their dreams fearlessly\, embodying the theme “MCU 68: Brilliance in Motion”. \nLin Cheng-Wei\, a graduate of MCU’s Finance Department\, was once a well-known figure on campus\, serving as a Goodwill Ambassador\, the president of Finance Department Student Association\, and even earning the title of Mr. International. However\, in 2007\, a tragic accident left him with a spinal cord injury\, resulting in full-body paralysis. Despite the immense challenges\, he refused to give up. After two years of rehabilitation\, he returned to campus and\, in 2010\, was honored with MCU Spirit Award in recognition of his perseverance\, courage and determination. \nNow\, Lin returns to his alma mater to perform on the anniversary stage\, proving that even though he cannot walk\, he can still fly. Through music\, he will share his incredible journey of resilience\, demonstrating how one can create infinite value despite physical limitations. His heartfelt performance aims to uplift and inspire the entire MCU community. On this special day\, Lin will be joined by blind musician Nuji\, performing two songs: “銘傳尚勇” and “你是我的眼”—both carrying deep messages of bravery\, determination and hope. \nFor 68 years\, MCU has remained committed to academic excellence\, nurturing countless outstanding talents\, and promoting diverse and inclusive education.
