SUMMARY:圖書館 Library｜圖書館電子資源利用教育課程 Library E-resource Instruction Workshop
DESCRIPTION:為協助師生更有效率地利用圖書館資源，提升學習與研究能力，圖書館持續推出電子資源利用教育課程，透過系統性的訓練，幫助大家掌握館藏資源、提升論文寫作技巧，並活用多元學術工具。2月場次共規劃三場專題講座，邀請全校師生報名參加，讓學習與研究更輕鬆上手。 \n此次課程包括「圖書館資源與服務探索【教師場】」，專為教師量身打造，聚焦於館藏與教學研究資源；「圖書館資源與服務探索【學生場】」則讓同學更熟悉圖書館資源，提升學習與休閒閱讀的便利性。此外，「圖書影音資源一把抓－圖書館館藏查詢系統」將帶領大家掌握館藏查詢技巧，快速找到所需的圖書與影音資料。除了即時互動的教育訓練課程外，圖書館也提供非同步學習資源「E殿學堂」，不定期更新影音內容，讓學習無時無刻皆可進行。 \n圖書館致力於打造優質的學習環境，期望透過豐富的館藏與專業指導，讓師生們能夠充分發揮學術潛能。課程報名即日起開放，提醒大家，各場次報名將於開課前一天截止，線上課程開課後若無人上線，將自動取消，請務必留意行前通知。如遇當日臨時有事不克前往者，請事先e-mail至bluecian@mail.mcu.edu.tw告知，請勿臨時無故缺席，謝謝您的配合！歡迎師生踴躍報名，共同探索圖書館的無限資源！ \nTo help faculty and students effectively utilize library resources and enhance their learning and research skills\, the library continues to offer E-Resource Instruction Workshops. These systematic training sessions will guide participants in mastering library collections\, improving academic writing and utilizing diverse scholarly tools. In February\, we have organized three special workshops\, inviting all faculty and students to register and make their learning and research journey more efficient and enjoyable. \nWorkshop Topics \n📖 Exploring Library Resources & Services [Faculty Session] \n\nDesigned for faculty members\, this session focuses on library collections and research resources for teaching and academic purposes.\n\n📚 Exploring Library Resources & Services [Student Session] \n\nHelps students familiarize themselves with library services\, making learning and leisure reading more accessible and convenient.\n\n🎥 Mastering Library Search – Books & Multimedia Resources \n\nA hands-on session to enhance search skills\, ensuring you can quickly locate books and audiovisual materials in the library catalog system.\n\nIn addition to these interactive training workshops\, the library also offers an on-demand learning platform\, “E-Learning Hub“\, featuring regularly updated instructional videos\, allowing users to learn anytime\, anywhere. \nThe library is committed to providing a high-quality learning environment\, supporting faculty and students in maximizing their academic potential through extensive resources and professional guidance. SUMMARY:Design Retreat: UX設計產業與職涯的反思 Reflections on Our UX Design Careers & Industry
DESCRIPTION:Retreat在這取靜修之意。我們希望舉辦一個小而接近的討論會，以讓參與者能沈澱與反思。 \nUX產業近期在歐美遭遇比較大的挫折，大量的裁員、困難的就業市場況，這是我們這一代設計師面對的十年未見之變。在安靜地沉潛的同時，這是很合適重新檢視設計實務的時候，設計到底哪些做不夠好？並且能夠重新回顧我們的成長，設計師應該怎麼調整？ \n在這一段時間，我們想要反省過去發生的事情，重新檢視自己成長，並且期待著更好的未來，在產業再起時做好準備。 \n除了演講和問答外，我們最後也會舉工作坊，讓議題討論能夠貼切大家的狀況，有產出才有更有效的討論。 \nThe term “Retreat” here signifies a space for reflection and introspection. We aim to create a small\, intimate gathering where participants can take a step back and reassess their careers and the industry. \nThe UX industry has faced major setbacks recently\, especially in Europe and North America\, with mass layoffs and a challenging job market. This is an unprecedented shift for our generation of designers. As we navigate these uncertain times\, it’s an opportunity to re-evaluate our design practices—what hasn’t been done well? How can we adjust and grow as designers? \nDuring this retreat\, we will reflect on past events\, assess our growth and prepare for the industry’s revival when the time comes. \nBeyond talks and Q&A sessions\, we will conclude with a workshop to facilitate practical discussions that resonate with participants’ experiences—ensuring a productive and meaningful conversation. \n這一次我們邀請到兩位設計師進行分享： \n《我們在UX產業泡沫時爆炸 Exploding in the UX Bubble》古念華 Nien-Hua Gu \n2021時，那是歐美UX產業最好的時候，推陳出新的設計做法，跳槽即加薪，大量設計團隊擴充與建立，這是一個利用想像力定義設計未來的時代。然而僅只兩年的時間，大環境匹變。我覺得這是一個去反省過去不切實際理想的時候。反省產業的天真，也反省自己的過度自信。 \nBack in 2021\, the UX industry was thriving—new methodologies were emerging\, salary increases were frequent\, and design teams were rapidly expanding. It was an era where imagination defined the future of design.
