2025 Fuxing District\, Taoyuan — Lalashan “A Life of Persimmons” Dark Sky Festival
\nPerformance Introduction: \nThis is a mobile dark-sky theater that takes place among the forest trails. \nGuided by starlight and mist\, audiences journey through the night forest of Lalashan\, accompanied by music\, chanting\, and storytelling. \nFrom “Origin” to “Embrace”\, the performance weaves together the memories\, beliefs\, and lands of the Atayal people\, creating a dialogue between humans and nature\, between ancestral spirits and the present. \nPerformers carry portable sound systems and lanterns\, using their bodies as the stage—bringing theater back to the mountains\, back to breath itself. \nIt is a ritual of remembrance and rebirth: when the lights go out\, we rediscover sight within the dark sky.
