DESCRIPTION:細數68年歲月流轉，承載無數學子回憶的銘傳大學，即將透過「銘心傳承．時光之旅：銘傳文物懷舊之展」，帶領師生走進時光隧道，重溫銘傳的珍貴歷史與動人故事。特展將於3/20-4/20在桃園校區應兆紀念圖書館二樓中庭展出，誠摯邀請全校師生共賞，一同回味銘傳人的求學記憶。 \n展覽以創辦人旗袍故事為序幕，透過校園珍貴影像、歷屆制服、教學設備及舊時校園文物，拼湊出銘傳的歷史軌跡。走入展場，仿若穿越時光，耳邊響起清脆的上課鈴聲，眼前浮現學生們身著制服、手握書本的青春模樣，老照片間流轉著求學時光的點滴回憶，勾勒出專屬於銘傳人的集體記憶。 \n此外，圖書館特別舉辦「看展喝咖啡」活動，鼓勵師生深度體驗展覽。凡於展覽期間拍攝主視覺牆並發佈至Instagram或Facebook限時動態，標記@mculibrary，另借閱三本實體圖書，即可至櫃台登記領取飲品兌換碼，兌換美式無糖咖啡或現翠紅茶一杯。活動對象限本校教職員工生，每人限兌換一次，數量有限，換完為止。 \n歡迎全校師生蒞臨展覽，一同走入記憶長廊，感受銘傳的歷史溫度，讓傳承的故事繼續延續下去。 \nAs MCU celebrates 68 years of history\, the school invites students and faculty to step into a time capsule with the “Inscribed Legacy: A Generational Journey Through Time with Ming Chuan’s School Memorabilia” exhibition. This nostalgic showcase will be held from March 20 to April 20 at the 2nd-floor atrium of Ying-Chao Memorial Library (Taoyuan Campus). We warmly welcome all faculty and students to reminisce and relive the cherished memories of their academic journey at Ming Chuan. \nA Walk Through Ming Chuan’s History \nThe exhibition begins with a special display of the founder’s iconic qipao\, symbolizing the university’s legacy. Through rare campus photographs\, past uniforms\, vintage teaching equipment\, and historical school artifacts\, the exhibition pieces together Ming Chuan’s remarkable evolution. \nAs visitors walk through the exhibit\, they will feel as if they have traveled back in time—hearing the familiar school bell ring\, seeing students in uniforms carrying books and experiencing the collective memories of generations of Ming Chuan students. DESCRIPTION:為推廣性別平等教育，銘傳大學圖書館與優三聯展合作，於3/31（一）至4/18（五）舉辦「2025性別平等教育特展X優三聯展—舞動世界的女性」，精選涵蓋文學、家庭、職場等多元面向的女性議題書籍，帶領大家一同探索女性在社會中的挑戰與突破。本次展覽於台北校區一樓與桃園校區二樓學習共享區前展出，並設置「她的聲音」互動牆，邀請大家留言分享對性別平等的想法，讓每一則留言成為推動改變的一步。 \n除了靜態書展，現場更規劃多項精彩活動，透過互動參與深化對性別議題的理解。凡於活動期間借閱三本實體書，即可獲得精美小禮物，鼓勵大家透過閱讀了解女性故事。此外，特展期間也同步推出專題影展，精選《戀夏時光》、《愛別離苦》、《特務媽咪》等多部經典影片，並透過公播大平台「性平影展」專區播放，完成影展互動環節即可獲得小黑貓玩偶。 \n想進一步測試自己的平權意識，還可參與「你的平權指數有多高」線上測驗，檢視對性別平權的理解程度，並於櫃台出示測驗滿分結果與借閱三本電子書的紀錄，即可獲得限定小禮物。圖書館誠摯邀請全校師生共同關注性別平等，透過閱讀、觀影與討論，開啟多元視角，一起攜手推動更包容的未來！ \nTo promote gender equality education\, MCU Library collaborates with the ELECT Joint Exhibition to present 2025 Gender Equality Education Exhibition X ELECT Joint Exhibition — Women Who Move the World from March 31 (Mon) to April 18 (Fri). \nThis exhibition showcases a curated collection of books covering literature\, family\, workplace issues and more\, offering an in-depth exploration of the challenges and breakthroughs women face in society. DESCRIPTION:商品設計學系第27屆畢業展「初醒」，校內展4/14-18在桃園校區設計大樓一樓，校外展「新一代設計展」5/9-12在南港展覽館2館一樓A-07展區，歡迎全校師生前往欣賞。 \n本屆畢展以「初醒」為題，象徵稚嫩的幼蟲歷經無數日夜的淬鍊，終將破繭而出，化身為翩翩蝴蝶。蝴蝶振翅而飛，在廣闊且未知的世界中釋放出細微卻深遠的力量，激起一道道不容忽視的漣漪，最終匯聚成一場場酣暢淋漓的風暴，引領我們穿越迷霧，奔向光明璀璨的未來。 \n本次展覽的視覺設計結合酸性色調與透光質感，將蝴蝶以流線與不對稱的構圖進行抽象詮釋，使輪廓閃耀出多變的光彩與層次。這象徵著每位設計者對未來的想像與發展各不相同，卻同樣充滿無限可能，呼應「新一代設計展」的主題——可欲未來。 \n畢展作品類型多元，特別規劃成A、B作品展區，共計展出56件作品。A展區為「畢業專題製作」展區，其範圍涵蓋家飾設計、交通工具、綠色能源、裝置藝術、醫療衛生等作品；B展區為「工藝作品」展區，以「愛與幸福」為題，由品設系學生各以自身角度探討何謂愛與幸福，並透過窯燒、編織、雕刻、金工鑄模等方式詮釋，製作出各式精美的手工藝品。 \nThe 27th Graduation Exhibition of Department of Product Design\, titled “The Awakening”\, will be held on campus from April 14 to 18 at the 1st floor of Design Building\, Taoyuan Campus. The off-campus showcase\, part of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition”\, will take place from May 9 to 12 at TaiNEX 2\, 1st Floor\, Booth A-07. All faculty and students are warmly invited to visit and appreciate the works. \nThe theme “The Awakening” symbolizes the transformation of a tender larva\, tempered by countless days and nights\, finally breaking free from its cocoon to become a graceful butterfly. As the butterfly takes flight into a vast and unknown world\, it releases a subtle yet far-reaching power. These ripples\, impossible to ignore\, ultimately converge into powerful storms\, leading us through the fog toward a radiant future full of promise. \nThe exhibition’s visual identity features acidic tones and translucent textures\, abstractly interpreting the butterfly through streamlined and asymmetrical compositions. This dynamic interplay of light and form reflects the diverse visions and unique paths of each designer\, echoing the overarching theme of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition” — “Desirable Future”. \nThe showcase presents a wide range of works\, carefully curated into Zone A and Zone B\, featuring a total of 56 pieces. \n\n\nZone A: Graduation Projects — encompassing home decor\, transportation design\, green energy\, installation art\, and medical and health-related innovations. \n\n\nZone B: Craft Works — under the theme “Love and Happiness”\, students explored these emotions through their own perspectives. Using techniques such as kiln firing\, weaving\, carving and metal casting\, they created a stunning array of handcrafted artworks.

All participants and photography enthusiasts are warmly invited to witness the exciting final round in action! \nThis year’s competition\, themed “Straightforward Love”\, received a total of 650 entries. After screening\, 18 landscape-oriented submissions were disqualified for not meeting the vertical format requirement\, leaving 632 works for official review. During the preliminary round\, three judges from different fields each selected their favorite pieces\, with 59 entries advancing to the final judging session on April 15. \nWho will stand out and win the coveted Gold Medal of 36th MCU Literary & Art Awards? Department of Applied English is organizing a four-week overseas program at University of Lincoln in UK from August 9 to 31\, 2025. Led by MCU faculty and taught in collaboration with local professors and teaching assistants in UK\, the program is open to all MCU students\, including graduate students. Only 20 spots are available\, and registration is open until April 25. This year’s collaboration with University of Lincoln offers students a rich academic and cultural experience. The curriculum features intensive academic English courses taught by Lincoln faculty and explores topics such as classic British literature\, British history and culture in a global context\, the English language and intercultural communication. \nIn addition to classroom learning\, students will participate in cultural immersion and academic exchange activities\, with guided visits to Oxford\, York and London.
