DESCRIPTION:由英語教學中心主辦的第2屆「全校英文創業簡報提案比賽」即將開幕，誠邀所有在校學生參加。這是鼓勵同學們提出新產品、服務或應用程式創意的絕佳機會，旨在提升學生的商務英語口語簡報技能，同時激發創意，讓生活變得更美好、有趣和方便。 \n報名時間從即日起至10／30（三），同學們可至台北校區I-314或桃園校區Q-502的英語教學中心辦公室報名。每組成員人數限3至5人，最多可有1至2名應英系或國際學院的學生，且每位參賽者僅能報名一組。需在截止日期前提交報名表及新產品、服務或應用程式的描述文字檔，必須依英語教學中心網站的格式製作，格式不符者將被取消參賽資格。報名表需完整填寫後列印，與電子檔一同繳交。初選結果將於11／4（一）公布。 \n決賽將於11／15（五）15:00至18:00在台北校區B901會議室舉行，參賽者應於賽前30分鐘到達比賽地點報到，當天若有任何變更，請在賽前15分鐘公佈，簡報時間限5至7分鐘，超過或不足時間將扣分，每組需準備至少10張PPT，內容包括成員姓名、創意名稱、外觀及功能描述。評分將由評審依總積分排序並宣布得獎名單。 \n得獎者將有機會獲得獎金及獎狀：第一名NT$10\,000，第二名NT$7\,000，第三名NT$5\,000，佳作獎NT$2\,000。所有參賽者均將獲頒參賽證書。需注意，若參賽隊伍少於6組，比賽將取消；如有冒名參賽者，將取消其資格或獎項。 \n這是一次難得的機會，期待每位學生的熱情參與與創意展現。如有任何問題，請撥分機2642杜老師或洽英語教學中心。 \nThe 2nd University-Wide English Startup Pitch Competition\, hosted by English Language Center\, is now open for registration! All students are invited to participate in this exciting event\, which encourages the presentation of innovative ideas for new products\, services\, or apps. The competition aims to enhance students’ business English presentation skills while fostering creativity to make life better\, more enjoyable\, and more convenient. \nRegistration is open from now until Wednesday\, October 30. Students can register at English Language Center office in I-314 (Taipei campus) or Q-502 (Taoyuan campus). Each team must consist of 3 to 5 members\, with no more than 1-2 students from Department of Applied English or International College. Each participant is allowed to register with only one team. A written description of the new product\, service\, or app must be submitted by the registration deadline. The submission must follow the format provided on English Language Center website. Incomplete or improperly formatted entries will be disqualified. The registration form must be printed and submitted along with the electronic file. Preliminary results will be announced on Monday\, November 4. \nThe final competition will be held on Friday\, November 15\, from 15:00 to 18:00 at Room B901 (Taipei campus). Contestants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the competition begins to check in. Any changes on the day of the event will be announced 15 minutes prior. Presentations should be 5 to 7 minutes long. Teams exceeding or falling short of the time limit will lose points. Each team must prepare at least 10 PPT slides\, which should include the team members’ names\, the name of the innovation\, and a description of its appearance and functions. Judges will score the presentations\, and the results will be announced based on the total scores. \nWinners will receive cash prizes and certificates: 1st place: NT$10\,000\, 2nd place: NT$7\,000\, 3rd place: NT$5\,000 and Honorable Mention: NT$2\,000. All participants will receive certificates of participation. Please note that the competition will be canceled if fewer than 6 teams register. Any team with fraudulent participants will be disqualified and have their prizes revoked. \nThis is a great opportunity to showcase your creativity and presentation skills. DESCRIPTION:馬路如虎口，交通部統計101年至104年9月大學生發生意外事故最為頻繁，且人數高達33\,035人，因此軍訓處為提升同學們的交通安全意識，舉辦交通安全有獎徵答活動。活動內容涵蓋最新的交通法規與安全用語，強調「行人優先」和「遵守交通規則」的重要性，讓大家能夠在日常生活中有效避免交通事故的發生。 \n有獎徵答活動自即日起至10／31（四）中午截止，請同學點選連結上網填答，並於10／31（四）下午進行電腦隨機抽獎。獎品豐富，包括現金NT$3\,000、ASUS行動電源、現金NT$500與NT$200等多種好禮；歡迎所有同學踴躍參加，寓教於樂的同時，也能提升自身的交通安全知識，為自己和他人打造更安全的行車環境。 \n此外，軍訓室目前備有愛心傘、安全帽、吹風機等物品，供同學免費借用，歡迎大家多加利用，如有任何問題，請洽軍訓室。 \nThe road can be dangerous. According to the Ministry of Transportation’s statistics from 2012 to September 2015\, college students experienced the highest number of accidents\, with a total of 33\,035 incidents. To raise students’ awareness of traffic safety\, Military Training Office is organizing a Traffic Safety Quiz with prizes. The quiz covers the latest traffic regulations and safety terminology\, emphasizing the importance of “pedestrian priority” and “following traffic rules” to help everyone effectively avoid accidents in daily life. \nThe quiz is open from today until noon on Thursday\, October 31. Students can participate by clicking the link and filling out the online form. A random drawing will be held in the afternoon on October 31 to select the winners. Prizes include NT$3\,000 cash\, ASUS power banks\, NT$500 and NT$200 cash\, and other great rewards. All students are encouraged to participate in this fun and educational activity while boosting their traffic safety knowledge\, contributing to a safer environment for themselves and others. \nAdditionally\, Military Training Office offers free items such as umbrellas\, helmets and hair dryers for students to borrow.
