This initiative serves as the artery of knowledge\, connecting the three universities along the MRT line\, symbolizing a learning journey without spatial limits. By combining the core concepts of “walking tours” and “knowledge”\, the series aims to encourage faculty and students to integrate reading into everyday life—transforming learning from something confined indoors to something that can happen anytime\, anywhere. It invites participants to experience the dual joys of reading and urban exploration\, infusing new energy into university life. \nThe program features four activity series\, offering freshmen diverse opportunities for learning and discovery: \n\n\n“Walking the Smart Line\, Knowledge on the Go X U3 Library Joint Exhibition” will run from September 18 to October 9 simultaneously at the libraries of all three universities. The exhibition presents five themed reading routes—Freshman Life Station\, Interpersonal Relations Station\, World Exploration Station\, Creative Inspiration Station and Critical Expression Station—to help freshmen quickly adapt to university life while broadening their reading horizons. Participants are encouraged to make full use of the inter-library borrowing and return services across the three schools. \n\n\n“U3 Online Film Festival” will also take place during the same period on Vision Media\, featuring a curated selection of 20 films related to the event themes\, providing students with valuable resources for self-learning and growth. \n\n\n“Reading Express X “U” ‘Easy Travel with U3’” invites all faculty and students to hop aboard the reading train. During the event period\, anyone who borrows three physical books will be eligible for a lucky draw to win a 3D Strap EasyCard. \n\n\nLastly\, the “Freshman Challenge”\, designed for new and transfer students\, will run from September 18 to November 21. By completing fun challenges\, students can easily explore various library resources. Participants will have the chance to win exclusive gifts and grand prizes. DESCRIPTION:丹桂飄香，中秋佳節將至，銘傳大學圖書館特別舉辦「中秋快閃活動：一起Chill(秋)一下」，結合趣味遊戲互動與文化學習，鼓勵全校師生在佳節前夕走進圖書館，透過閱讀與遊戲拓展多元文化視野。活動將於9/30（二）至10/3（五），在台北與桃園兩校區圖書館同步舉行，歡迎全校教職員工生參與。 \n本次活動以「不只玩遊戲，更拓展你的多元文化視野！」為核心，設計了有趣的「中秋習俗連連看」挑戰。參與者需將各國的中秋節日與慶祝方式進行正確配對，在遊戲中了解世界各地的中秋文化差異。完成遊戲後，只要任選三本書辦理借閱，並於圖書館櫃台出示連連看完成畫面，即可兌換限量「搞笑粉紅兔子」乙份。圖書館提醒，每人限換一次，禮物數量有限，換完為止。 \n圖書館表示，中秋節是充滿團圓意涵的傳統節日，希望透過這次結合知識與趣味的快閃活動，讓師生在閱讀的氛圍中度過一個Chill又知性的中秋假期。誠摯邀請全校師生踴躍參與，在解謎與閱讀中，享受不一樣的節慶樂趣。 \nAs the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air and the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches\, MCU Library is excited to host the “Mid-Autumn Flash Event: Chill in the Mid-Autumn”. This special activity combines fun interactive games with cultural learning\, encouraging all faculty\, staff\, and students to visit the library before the holiday to broaden their multicultural horizons through both reading and play. The event will take place from September 30 (Tue) to October 3 (Fri) simultaneously at both Taipei and Taoyuan campus libraries. \nCentered on the theme “Not just games—expand your multicultural vision!”\, the highlight of the event is a fun challenge called “Mid-Autumn Festival Matching Game”. Participants will match Mid-Autumn Festival customs and celebrations from around the world to their correct countries\, learning about cultural differences while playing the game. After completing the challenge\, participants who borrow any three books and show their finished game screen at the circulation desk can redeem a limited-edition “Funny Pink Bunny” gift. (One gift per person\, while supplies last.) \nThe library notes that the Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional holiday rich with the spirit of reunion. DESCRIPTION:為響應公益並緩解醫療用血庫存壓力，台北校區衛保組將於9/30-10/2，每天10:00-17:00在學餐一樓前停車場舉辦本學期的「一袋熱血，一袋力量」愛心捐血活動，邀請全校師生發揮熱血，將愛傳遞下去。 \n本次活動攜手國際獅子會及麥當勞共同合作，祭出豐富好禮鼓勵師生踴躍參與。凡捐血250cc，即可獲贈大麥克兌換券1張；捐血500cc則可獲得2張。此外，首次捐血者還可獲得精選咖啡購物袋或行動電源等精美禮品。捐血一袋，不僅能立即幫助急需用血的傷病患，更是延續生命的無私奉獻，彰顯社會溫暖。 \n衛保組提醒，捐血活動不限性別、不限體型，只要符合捐血資格的師生，都歡迎在活動期間前往參與。期盼透過這項充滿意義的行動，讓大家共同將溫暖的血流匯聚成強大的力量，為校園與社會注入滿滿的愛心正能量。 \nTo support public welfare and help ease the shortage in medical blood supplies\, Campus Health Services Section (Taipei Campus) will host this semester’s blood donation drive\, “One Bag of Blood\, One Bag of Strength”\, from September 30 to October 2\, 10:00 – 17:00 at parking lot in front of the first-floor cafeteria. SUMMARY:親善大使團 Goodwill Ambassador｜養樂多疊疊樂大賽 Yakult Tower Stacking Contest
DESCRIPTION:親善大使團為增進同學互動交流與團隊合作精神，將於台北及桃園兩校區舉辦《養樂多疊疊樂大賽》。活動全程免費，參加者除可體驗趣味競賽，還可獲得畢業門檻十力中的「群體力」認證，累積三次即可達標。 \n台北校區場次訂於9/30（二）12:00至12:50在逸仙堂舉行，即日起至9/27（六）23:59開放報名。比賽以四人為一組，參賽者需在比賽前喊出「我愛銘傳，我愛養樂多」，再以兩人三腳的方式前進喝養樂多並疊成金字塔，完成接棒後全員坐下，最短時間完成全程的同學即獲勝。除了前三名獎項外，活動中特別設立「造型獎」，鼓勵同學展現創意，為比賽增添亮點。 \n桃園校區場次則將於10/15（三）12:00至12:50在體育館一館三樓籃球場登場，採四人一組參賽，第一組的同學以兩人三腳的方式前進到指定地點與第二組擊掌接棒，第二組的同學以交杯的方式喝完養樂多後，再將空瓶疊成金字塔形狀，完成後加入隊伍。接著以四人組成四人五腳回到起點後蹲下，並一同大喊「我愛銘傳我愛養樂多」即為過關，用時最短的隊伍即為勝利者。 \n活動不僅能讓同學在競賽過程中發揮默契、享受團隊合作樂趣，還能藉由趣味挑戰舒緩課業壓力，並在校園中留下美好回憶。無論是台北或桃園校區，名額皆有限，歡迎同學們攜手好友共襄盛舉！ \nTo foster interaction among students and encourage teamwork\, Goodwill Ambassador Team will host the Yakult Tower Stacking Contest at both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses. After a ten-year hiatus\, the 14th Joint Art & Cultural Exhibition will take place from October 14 (Tue) to October 16 (Thu)\, 10:00–17:00\, at Ming Garden. \nThis year’s theme\, “When Art Meets Ghosts”\, blends RPG adventure with Halloween elements\, inviting students to become brave adventurers embarking on a creative and imaginative journey across campus filled with art\, culture\, and storytelling. \nThe event brings together seven student art and cultural clubs\, including Coffee Club\, Tea Club\, Shinwa Club\, Japanese Dubbing Club\, ACG Club\, Media Research Club\, and Cocktail Club. Each club will embody a unique Halloween character and transform their booths into immersive themed scenes\, showcasing diverse cultures and creative talents. Visitors can also participate in a stamp collection challenge—complete the adventure by collecting stamps at various booths to exchange for surprise gifts at the service counter! \nThe organizers hope that through this lively and interactive exhibition\, students can experience the creativity and passion of the university’s art and cultural clubs while finding new friends who share similar interests. To help students grasp the essentials of this foundational subject\, the School of Law Student Association\, in collaboration with Get Law\, will host a special lecture titled “Stepping Out of Criminal Law Beginner’s Village: Learning How to Write Essay Questions from Scratch” on Wednesday\, October 22\, from 12:10 to 13:00 in B401. The event will feature Attorney Chang Jing-Jung\, a renowned Get Law criminal law instructor and NTU Law alumnus\, who will personally guide first-year students through the crucial first step in understanding criminal law. \nThe lecture is primarily designed for first-year students in Department of Law and Department of Financial Law. As silver grass reaches its peak bloom\, its soft white plumes sway gracefully in the wind—especially around 400 meters up the Qixingshan Trail from the Lengshuikeng trailhead\, a perfect spot for both photography and social media shots. Participants will design their own preserved flower arrangements and essential oil blends\, reflecting on the balance between love and boundaries.The second day’s session\, Fluid Art Handmade Soap\, allows students to release stress and restore inner calm through the movement of colors and soothing scents during the creative process. \nMore than just a crafting experience\, this event is also a journey of emotional exploration. After midterms\, Taoyuan Astronomy Club will host its “Star Party Trip” from November 22 (Sat) to November 23 (Sun)\, leading students to Carl’s Town on Hehuan Mountain for a two-day\, one-night stargazing adventure. Under the dazzling canopy of stars\, participants will enjoy a relaxing getaway filled with stargazing\, delicious food\, and fun group activities — the perfect way to unwind and embrace the magic of an autumn night. \nThe event is limited to 12 participants\, and registration will close at 12:00 noon on October 31 (Fri).
