DESCRIPTION:細數68年歲月流轉，承載無數學子回憶的銘傳大學，即將透過「銘心傳承．時光之旅：銘傳文物懷舊之展」，帶領師生走進時光隧道，重溫銘傳的珍貴歷史與動人故事。特展將於3/20-4/20在桃園校區應兆紀念圖書館二樓中庭展出，誠摯邀請全校師生共賞，一同回味銘傳人的求學記憶。 \n展覽以創辦人旗袍故事為序幕，透過校園珍貴影像、歷屆制服、教學設備及舊時校園文物，拼湊出銘傳的歷史軌跡。走入展場，仿若穿越時光，耳邊響起清脆的上課鈴聲，眼前浮現學生們身著制服、手握書本的青春模樣，老照片間流轉著求學時光的點滴回憶，勾勒出專屬於銘傳人的集體記憶。 \n此外，圖書館特別舉辦「看展喝咖啡」活動，鼓勵師生深度體驗展覽。凡於展覽期間拍攝主視覺牆並發佈至Instagram或Facebook限時動態，標記@mculibrary，另借閱三本實體圖書，即可至櫃台登記領取飲品兌換碼，兌換美式無糖咖啡或現翠紅茶一杯。活動對象限本校教職員工生，每人限兌換一次，數量有限，換完為止。 \n歡迎全校師生蒞臨展覽，一同走入記憶長廊，感受銘傳的歷史溫度，讓傳承的故事繼續延續下去。 \nAs MCU celebrates 68 years of history\, the school invites students and faculty to step into a time capsule with the “Inscribed Legacy: A Generational Journey Through Time with Ming Chuan’s School Memorabilia” exhibition. This nostalgic showcase will be held from March 20 to April 20 at the 2nd-floor atrium of Ying-Chao Memorial Library (Taoyuan Campus). We warmly welcome all faculty and students to reminisce and relive the cherished memories of their academic journey at Ming Chuan. \nA Walk Through Ming Chuan’s History \nThe exhibition begins with a special display of the founder’s iconic qipao\, symbolizing the university’s legacy. Through rare campus photographs\, past uniforms\, vintage teaching equipment\, and historical school artifacts\, the exhibition pieces together Ming Chuan’s remarkable evolution. \nAs visitors walk through the exhibit\, they will feel as if they have traveled back in time—hearing the familiar school bell ring\, seeing students in uniforms carrying books and experiencing the collective memories of generations of Ming Chuan students. DESCRIPTION:為推廣性別平等教育，銘傳大學圖書館與優三聯展合作，於3/31（一）至4/18（五）舉辦「2025性別平等教育特展X優三聯展—舞動世界的女性」，精選涵蓋文學、家庭、職場等多元面向的女性議題書籍，帶領大家一同探索女性在社會中的挑戰與突破。本次展覽於台北校區一樓與桃園校區二樓學習共享區前展出，並設置「她的聲音」互動牆，邀請大家留言分享對性別平等的想法，讓每一則留言成為推動改變的一步。 \n除了靜態書展，現場更規劃多項精彩活動，透過互動參與深化對性別議題的理解。凡於活動期間借閱三本實體書，即可獲得精美小禮物，鼓勵大家透過閱讀了解女性故事。此外，特展期間也同步推出專題影展，精選《戀夏時光》、《愛別離苦》、《特務媽咪》等多部經典影片，並透過公播大平台「性平影展」專區播放，完成影展互動環節即可獲得小黑貓玩偶。 \n想進一步測試自己的平權意識，還可參與「你的平權指數有多高」線上測驗，檢視對性別平權的理解程度，並於櫃台出示測驗滿分結果與借閱三本電子書的紀錄，即可獲得限定小禮物。圖書館誠摯邀請全校師生共同關注性別平等，透過閱讀、觀影與討論，開啟多元視角，一起攜手推動更包容的未來！ \nTo promote gender equality education\, MCU Library collaborates with the ELECT Joint Exhibition to present 2025 Gender Equality Education Exhibition X ELECT Joint Exhibition — Women Who Move the World from March 31 (Mon) to April 18 (Fri). \nThis exhibition showcases a curated collection of books covering literature\, family\, workplace issues and more\, offering an in-depth exploration of the challenges and breakthroughs women face in society. DESCRIPTION:商品設計學系第27屆畢業展「初醒」，校內展4/14-18在桃園校區設計大樓一樓，校外展「新一代設計展」5/9-12在南港展覽館2館一樓A-07展區，歡迎全校師生前往欣賞。 \n本屆畢展以「初醒」為題，象徵稚嫩的幼蟲歷經無數日夜的淬鍊，終將破繭而出，化身為翩翩蝴蝶。蝴蝶振翅而飛，在廣闊且未知的世界中釋放出細微卻深遠的力量，激起一道道不容忽視的漣漪，最終匯聚成一場場酣暢淋漓的風暴，引領我們穿越迷霧，奔向光明璀璨的未來。 \n本次展覽的視覺設計結合酸性色調與透光質感，將蝴蝶以流線與不對稱的構圖進行抽象詮釋，使輪廓閃耀出多變的光彩與層次。這象徵著每位設計者對未來的想像與發展各不相同，卻同樣充滿無限可能，呼應「新一代設計展」的主題——可欲未來。 \n畢展作品類型多元，特別規劃成A、B作品展區，共計展出56件作品。A展區為「畢業專題製作」展區，其範圍涵蓋家飾設計、交通工具、綠色能源、裝置藝術、醫療衛生等作品；B展區為「工藝作品」展區，以「愛與幸福」為題，由品設系學生各以自身角度探討何謂愛與幸福，並透過窯燒、編織、雕刻、金工鑄模等方式詮釋，製作出各式精美的手工藝品。 \nThe 27th Graduation Exhibition of Department of Product Design\, titled “The Awakening”\, will be held on campus from April 14 to 18 at the 1st floor of Design Building\, Taoyuan Campus. The off-campus showcase\, part of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition”\, will take place from May 9 to 12 at TaiNEX 2\, 1st Floor\, Booth A-07. All faculty and students are warmly invited to visit and appreciate the works. \nThe theme “The Awakening” symbolizes the transformation of a tender larva\, tempered by countless days and nights\, finally breaking free from its cocoon to become a graceful butterfly. As the butterfly takes flight into a vast and unknown world\, it releases a subtle yet far-reaching power. These ripples\, impossible to ignore\, ultimately converge into powerful storms\, leading us through the fog toward a radiant future full of promise. \nThe exhibition’s visual identity features acidic tones and translucent textures\, abstractly interpreting the butterfly through streamlined and asymmetrical compositions. This dynamic interplay of light and form reflects the diverse visions and unique paths of each designer\, echoing the overarching theme of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition” — “Desirable Future”. \nThe showcase presents a wide range of works\, carefully curated into Zone A and Zone B\, featuring a total of 56 pieces. \n\n\nZone A: Graduation Projects — encompassing home decor\, transportation design\, green energy\, installation art\, and medical and health-related innovations. \n\n\nZone B: Craft Works — under the theme “Love and Happiness”\, students explored these emotions through their own perspectives. Using techniques such as kiln firing\, weaving\, carving and metal casting\, they created a stunning array of handcrafted artworks.

After screening\, 18 landscape-oriented submissions were disqualified for not meeting the vertical format requirement\, leaving 632 works for official review. During the preliminary round\, three judges from different fields each selected their favorite pieces\, with 59 entries advancing to the final judging session on April 15. \nWho will stand out and win the coveted Gold Medal of 36th MCU Literary & Art Awards? Department of Applied English is organizing a four-week overseas program at University of Lincoln in UK from August 9 to 31\, 2025. Led by MCU faculty and taught in collaboration with local professors and teaching assistants in UK\, the program is open to all MCU students\, including graduate students. This year’s collaboration with University of Lincoln offers students a rich academic and cultural experience. The curriculum features intensive academic English courses taught by Lincoln faculty and explores topics such as classic British literature\, British history and culture in a global context\, the English language and intercultural communication. \nIn addition to classroom learning\, students will participate in cultural immersion and academic exchange activities\, with guided visits to Oxford\, York and London. DESCRIPTION:銘傳大學數位媒體設計學系第22屆畢業展「D-mart」，校內展4/21-24在桃園校區設計大樓一樓，校外展「新一代設計展」5/9-12在南港展覽館2館四樓E-08展區。 \n本屆主題「D-mart」以便利商店為概念，字母D不僅代表著「Design」，更象徵著設計與生活的密切聯繫。便利商店為城市生活中不可或缺的一部分，設計亦是如此；設計不僅存在於產品和服務中，也深深影響著人們的日常生活。在LOGO的設計上，將字母「D」轉化為微笑的表情，意在傳達「設計」的美好與親和力，期望讓大家在遊覽D-mart便利商店的同時，都能有著愉悅的體驗。 \n在這個數位化的時代下，數位媒體如便利商店般應有盡有、隨取隨用，其便捷性與多元性隨時應對各式需求，讓每一位設計人都能發揮無限的創意與潛力，從而改善生活環境，讓每一天都更加便捷、舒適。「設計不僅是服務社會大眾，也是服務設計人本身」，D-mart將設計人與大眾緊密連結，一同發掘設計的無限可能。 \n作品涵蓋2D/3D動畫、遊戲、互動多媒體及影視四大類，共計有40件作品參展，精彩可期，歡迎全校師生前往欣賞。 \nThe 22nd Graduation Exhibition of Department of Digital Media Design at MCU\, titled “D-mart”\, will be held in two sessions: the on-campus exhibition will take place from April 21 to 24 on the first floor of the Design Building\, Taoyuan Campus; the off-campus exhibition will be part of YODEX from May 9 to 12 at TAINEX Hall 2\, 4th Floor\, Booth E-08. \nThis year’s theme\, “D-mart”\, draws inspiration from the concept of a convenience store. The letter “D” stands not only for “Design” but also symbolizes the close connection between design and everyday life. Just as convenience stores are indispensable in urban living\, design plays an essential role in our daily experiences—not only present in products and services but also influencing how we live\, interact\, and feel. The logo creatively transforms the letter “D” into a smiling face\, expressing the warmth and joy of design\, aiming to bring visitors a delightful experience while exploring the D-mart concept store. \nIn today’s digital era\, digital media is as diverse and accessible as the offerings in a convenience store—available anytime\, anywhere and ready to meet various needs. This versatility empowers designers to unleash their full creativity and potential to enhance our living environments\, making everyday life more convenient and enjoyable. “Design not only serves the public but also serves the designers themselves.” D-mart aims to bridge designers and the public\, exploring the limitless possibilities of design together. \nThe exhibition will showcase 40 outstanding projects across four categories: 2D/3D animation\, games\, interactive multimedia and film/video production. This event features themed book displays\, borrowing incentives and e-book promotions—inviting all faculty and students to embark on a literary springtime journey. \nThe themed book exhibition showcases award-winning titles from OpenBook and 2024 bestsellers from online bookstores\, covering a wide range of topics and demonstrating the richness of reading experiences. \nBorrowing Rewards:Borrow three books from the display collection and receive a special gift. \nE-Book Promotion:Borrow five e-books from any of the digital platforms\, then fill out a form indicating the most captivating title you’ve read. Once completed\, you’ll be eligible to register at the library counter for a lucky draw. \nBy promoting both physical and digital reading\, the campaign encourages everyone to embrace reading as a moment of calm and reflection in daily life. The highly anticipated annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will take place from April 21 to April 25 at 12:00 on the outdoor basketball court of Taipei Campus. We invite all basketball-loving Communication students to step onto the court\, compete for glory and earn applause! \nThe tournament will be divided into Men’s and Women’s divisions\, with a maximum of 8 teams per division. The games will follow a 3-player half-court format\, and team formation is open to all Communication students—regardless of department\, year or class—encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration. DESCRIPTION:為推動學生國際移動力及拓展日本體育教學資源共享，由銘傳大學產學推廣處與體育室協作規劃，「2025日本茨城縣笠間市 體育教育高爾夫球修習營暨笠間高中校際參訪交流」2025年7/14-19日啟程前往笠間市，進行6天5夜的高爾夫球研修與高中校際參訪交流。今年活動特別邀請鄰近銘傳的台北市立陽明高中、泰北國際學校合辦，大手牽小手建立策略聯盟的合作機制。 \n體育室表示，本次課程除可體驗日本高爾夫球場，實際揮桿的高爾夫球樂趣，還能與陽明及泰北兩所高中生，一同與笠間市高中生進行校際參訪。活動僅招募20名學員，請有意參加的銘傳同學，請點擊「報名表單」立即報名。 \nTo enhance students’ global mobility and promote resource sharing in Japanese sports education\, Industry-Academia Collaboration & University Extension Division\, in collaboration with Office of Physical Education\, will organize the “2025 Kasama City\, Ibaraki Prefecture\, Japan – Sports Education Golf Training Camp and Inter-School Exchange with Kasama High School”. The program will take place from July 14 to 19\, and will feature a 6-day\, 5-night golf training camp along with inter-school exchange activities. \nThis year’s event will also welcome co-organizing schools near MCU\, including Yangming High School and Thai North International School in Taipei\, establishing a collaborative alliance through a “hand-in-hand” strategic partnership. \nAccording to Office of Physical Education\, in addition to experiencing Japanese golf courses and enjoying the hands-on experience of golfing\, participants will engage in inter-school exchanges with students from Yangming High School\, Thai North International School and Kasama City high schools. \nOnly 20 students will be accepted for this exclusive opportunity. All students from the Taoyuan Campus are warmly invited to participate. This forum aims to facilitate open and face-to-face communication on key topics such as curriculum planning\, campus facilities\, learning resources and student rights. \nThe goal of the forum is to build a bridge of dialogue between students and faculty\, providing students with a valuable opportunity to voice their suggestions and enabling the university to hear firsthand feedback from the student body. \nAccording to the Student Association\, this forum not only promotes transparency and responsiveness in campus policies but also encourages students to speak up and contribute to campus improvement. Complete designated tasks to earn raffle tickets — there is no limit to the number of tickets you can collect. DESCRIPTION:為喚起全校師生對校園環保與資源再生議題的重視，總務處事務組將4/28-5/2舉辦113學年度環保週活動。活動以「節能減碳」、「垃圾分類」及「一分鐘做環保」為核心理念，期望透過講座與有獎徵答，讓永續意識在校園中深耕，培養良好的生活習慣與環保行動力。 \n本次環保週安排兩場專題演講，首先於4/25（五）11:00至12:00，在E402大會議室舉行「輕鬆來做省電俠節能工作坊」，邀請荒野保護協會氣候變遷講師溫文秀（伏石蕨），從實務角度出發，分享校園與生活中的節能方法，激發大家對節約能源的具體行動。 \n第二場講座則於4/28（一）14:00至15:00登場，主講「海洋污染防治與緊急應變」，國立台灣海洋大學職業安全衛生中心組長陳銘仁講師將透過豐富的案例與資料，帶領同學認識環境災害與氣候變遷的關聯性，深化對環境永續的思考。 \n除了講座外，也同步舉辦有獎徵答活動，填寫問卷拿好禮，千萬別錯過！邀請全校師生參與環保題庫填答，徵答活動至5/2（五）17:30截止，最終將抽出10位得獎者，可獲得精美禮物一份。總務處期盼藉由一系列豐富多元的內容，鼓勵更多師生實踐環保行動，攜手打造綠色永續校園。 \nTo raise awareness among all faculty and students about campus environmental protection and resource recycling\, the General Affairs Division Operations Section will host 2024 Environmental Protection Week from April 28 to May 2. Centered around the themes of “Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction”\, “Waste Classification” and “One Minute for the Environment”\, the event aims to cultivate sustainable practices and enhance environmental action through lectures and prize-winning quizzes. \nTwo special lectures are scheduled for this Environmental Protection Week. The first\, “Become a Power-Saving Hero Workshop” will take place on Friday\, April 25\, from 11:00 to 12:00 in Conference Room E402. We have invited Ms Wen Wen-Siu (Fushi Fern)\, a climate change lecturer from The Society of Wilderness\, to share practical energy-saving tips for both campus and daily life\, inspiring concrete actions toward energy conservation. \nThe second lecture\, “Marine Pollution Prevention and Emergency Response” will be held on Monday\, April 28\, from 14:00 to 15:00. Mr. Chen Ming-Ren\, head of Occupational Safety and Health Center at National Taiwan Ocean University\, will lead participants through a variety of case studies and data to deepen their understanding of the links between environmental disasters and climate change\, strengthening reflections on environmental sustainability. \nIn addition to the lectures\, a prize-winning quiz will be held!
