Simultaneously\, Career Planning Office is launching the recruitment of “Mindful DJs”\, inviting students passionate about helping others and interested in mental health to join us in promoting psychological well-being and fostering a supportive campus environment. \nAs a vital bridge between the Career Planning Office and each class\, Mindful DJs are responsible for delivering mental health bulletins\, promoting on-campus career and counseling resources\, and ensuring that students make full use of these services to enhance their learning and overall well-being. \nFor Taipei campus\, each class is required to elect one Mindful DJ and complete the registration via eForm by 17:00 on Monday\, March 3. Selected DJs must attend the Kickoff Meeting & Special Lecture on Friday\, March 7\, from 12:10 to 14:00 at B401\, where they will learn about their roles and available resources. Starting March 14 (Friday)\, DJs will check in every other week to download and distribute the Mindful Bulletin. If a selected student cannot attend the meeting\, a classmate must attend on their behalf. At the end of the semester\, outstanding DJs will be recognized for their contributions. \nBeing a Mindful DJ is not just a class role—it is a key position in promoting mental well-being and strengthening campus support systems. To help prospective university students find their direction and choose the best academic program\, MCU will participate in 2025 University Expo\, held simultaneously in Taipei (National Taiwan University Sports Center\, 1/F) and Kaohsiung (Shin Kong Mitsukoshi\, Zuoying Branch\, 10/F) on March 1-2\, as well as in Chiayi (Gangping Sports Park Gymnasium) on March 8. Led by Academic Affairs Division\, MCU will send a strong team of deans\, department heads\, professors and student representatives to the expo to provide in-depth consultations for high school students\, whether they are applying through Numerous Stars Recommendation or Application Admission Process. Attendance is free for all prospective students! \nMCU’s Dean of Academic Affairs Division\, Dr. Tsorng-Lin Chia\, announced that this year\, MCU is offering high-value scholarships to encourage outstanding students to choose MCU. Students who score 50 points or above in the four-subject entrance exam can receive up to NT$1.06 million in scholarships over four years\, along with financial support for overseas study programs\, allowing students to expand their global perspective during their studies. Each year\, MCU allocates NT$140 million in scholarships and grants to support students in academics\, extracurricular activities and athletic competitions\, ensuring they can focus on their studies while fully developing their potential. \nTo assist students worldwide\, MCU has also launched an Online Campus Expo – “Department Direct Access“\, which provides comprehensive information on academic programs\, career prospects\, program highlights\, application requirements\, department websites\, videos and social media. Additionally\, students can explore the “ColleGo! DESCRIPTION:銘傳大學113學年度校長盃籃球、排球錦標賽開跑！為推廣運動風氣與培養團隊合作精神，113學年度校長盃籃球、排球錦標賽將於4/28（一）～5/23（五）每日下午17:00在台北與桃園校區同步進行，各系所可組隊參賽。總冠軍賽暫定於5/23（五）舉行，爭奪校內最高榮譽。 \n即日起至3/28（五）12:00開放報名，須由院系主管簽名並加蓋系學會章後繳交體育室承辦老師，逾期恕不受理。男子組、女子組每隊最多可報名14人。比賽採中華民國籃、排球協會最新規則，並採單淘汰賽制。比賽期間選手須穿著統一號碼球衣，遲到15分鐘視為棄權，並影響下一學年度參賽資格。 \n抽籤與領隊會議將於4/18（五）12:10在兩校區體育室辦公室舉行，4/22（二）公布賽程。若兩校區冠軍隊屬同一系所，將舉行額外淘汰賽決定總冠軍。比賽獲勝隊伍將獲頒錦旗與嘉獎，台北校區取前三名，桃園校區取前四名，最高可獲得嘉獎兩次。詳細競賽規則與報名資訊請至體育室網站查詢。 \nMCU 2025 President’s Cup Basketball & Volleyball Championship is here! To promote sportsmanship and foster teamwork\, the tournament will take place from April 28 (Monday) to May 23 (Friday) at 5:00 PM daily in both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses. Each department is welcome to form teams and compete for the highest honor in the university. The Grand Finals are tentatively scheduled for May 23 (Friday). \nRegistration is open until March 28 (Friday) at 12:00. Teams must submit their registration forms\, signed by the department supervisor and stamped with the department student association seal\, to Office of Physical Education. Late submissions will not be accepted. Each team (both men’s and women’s divisions) can register up to 14 players. The competition will follow the latest regulations of Taipei Basketball and Volleyball Associations and adopt a single-elimination format. \nPlayers must wear matching numbered jerseys during the competition. A delay of more than 15 minutes will result in forfeiture\, and the team may lose eligibility for the next academic year’s tournament. \nThe draw and team leader meeting will be held on April 18 (Friday) at 12:10 in Office of Physical Education on both campuses. The official tournament schedule will be announced on April 22 (Tuesday). If the champions from both campuses belong to the same department\, an additional elimination match will be held to determine the Grand Champion. \nWinning teams will receive championship banners and awards. As the point expands into a plane\, it takes on various forms and directions\, symbolizing how a designer’s thoughts and perspectives evolve over time. Through this exhibition\, the artist seeks to communicate with viewers from a designer’s perspective\, presenting a comprehensive view of the creative process while leaving room for diverse interpretations. \n▍ 展出者 Exhibitor \n向祖民 Tsu-Min Hsiang \n▍ 展者簡介 About the Artist \n臺灣視覺設計師，國立臺灣師範大學設計學系博士候選人，2023年創辦民制設計顧問有限公司並擔任設計總監，同時也在銘傳大學商業設計學系及世新大學圖文傳播學系任教。作品曾獲Communication Arts美國傳達藝術設計獎年度設計獎、美國IDA國際設計獎銀獎與榮譽獎、美國C2A創意傳達設計獎Winner、TiGDA臺灣國際平面設計獎入圍、Taiwan Top Star金星設計獎評審特別獎及優異獎、金點新秀設計獎入圍、時報金犢獎優選、放視大賞入圍等。 \nTsu-Min Hsiang is a Taiwanese visual designer and a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Design at National Taiwan Normal University. In 2023\, he founded Minzhi Design Consultancy Co.\, Ltd.\, where he serves as Design Director. DESCRIPTION:細數68年歲月流轉，承載無數學子回憶的銘傳大學，即將透過「銘心傳承．時光之旅：銘傳文物懷舊之展」，帶領師生走進時光隧道，重溫銘傳的珍貴歷史與動人故事。特展將於3/20-4/20在桃園校區應兆紀念圖書館二樓中庭展出，誠摯邀請全校師生共賞，一同回味銘傳人的求學記憶。 \n展覽以創辦人旗袍故事為序幕，透過校園珍貴影像、歷屆制服、教學設備及舊時校園文物，拼湊出銘傳的歷史軌跡。走入展場，仿若穿越時光，耳邊響起清脆的上課鈴聲，眼前浮現學生們身著制服、手握書本的青春模樣，老照片間流轉著求學時光的點滴回憶，勾勒出專屬於銘傳人的集體記憶。 \n此外，圖書館特別舉辦「看展喝咖啡」活動，鼓勵師生深度體驗展覽。凡於展覽期間拍攝主視覺牆並發佈至Instagram或Facebook限時動態，標記@mculibrary，另借閱三本實體圖書，即可至櫃台登記領取飲品兌換碼，兌換美式無糖咖啡或現翠紅茶一杯。活動對象限本校教職員工生，每人限兌換一次，數量有限，換完為止。 \n歡迎全校師生蒞臨展覽，一同走入記憶長廊，感受銘傳的歷史溫度，讓傳承的故事繼續延續下去。 \nAs MCU celebrates 68 years of history\, the school invites students and faculty to step into a time capsule with the “Inscribed Legacy: A Generational Journey Through Time with Ming Chuan’s School Memorabilia” exhibition. This nostalgic showcase will be held from March 20 to April 20 at the 2nd-floor atrium of Ying-Chao Memorial Library (Taoyuan Campus). We warmly welcome all faculty and students to reminisce and relive the cherished memories of their academic journey at Ming Chuan. \nA Walk Through Ming Chuan’s History \nThe exhibition begins with a special display of the founder’s iconic qipao\, symbolizing the university’s legacy. Through rare campus photographs\, past uniforms\, vintage teaching equipment\, and historical school artifacts\, the exhibition pieces together Ming Chuan’s remarkable evolution. \nAs visitors walk through the exhibit\, they will feel as if they have traveled back in time—hearing the familiar school bell ring\, seeing students in uniforms carrying books and experiencing the collective memories of generations of Ming Chuan students. DESCRIPTION:本週末（3/22）銘傳大學迎來68週年校慶，校方精心策劃一系列慶祝活動，凝聚全體師生與校友情感。其中，校慶大會特別邀請激勵歌手林政緯校友蒞臨演唱，以他的奮鬥故事與動人歌聲，激勵銘傳人勇敢追夢，展現「銘傳68，英姿煥發」的精神風貌。 \n林政緯畢業於銘傳財金系，曾是校內風雲人物，擔任親善大使、財金系學會會長，並獲選為國際先生。然而，2007年因一次意外導致頸椎受傷，全身癱瘓。面對突如其來的挑戰，他沒有放棄，歷經兩年復健後重返校園，並於2010年獲頒「銘傳精神獎」，表彰他堅持不懈、勇敢迎戰人生的精神。 \n這次受邀回到母校，在校慶舞台上演唱，這位「不能走路卻會飛翔的翅膀男孩」，將以音樂訴說自己的生命歷程，用有限的身體創造無限價值，並以真摯歌聲鼓舞現場師生。當天，他將與全盲音樂人洪新智，一同帶來〈銘傳尚勇〉與〈你是我的眼〉兩首歌曲，用歌聲詮釋勇氣與堅毅，展現對生命的熱情與希望。 \n銘傳大學68年來始終秉持卓越辦學精神，培育無數優秀人才，並積極推動多元教育發展。今年校慶主題「銘傳68，英姿煥發」，不僅象徵學校蓬勃的發展動能，更希望透過林政緯的故事，讓銘傳師生在面對挑戰時，都能懷抱信念、不斷前行，為自己的人生譜寫更加精彩篇章。 \nThis weekend (March 22)\, MCU celebrates its 68th anniversary with a series of specially planned events to bring together faculty\, students and alumni. One of the highlights of the celebration will be the anniversary ceremony\, featuring a special performance by inspirational singer and MCU alumnus Lin Cheng-Wei. Through his powerful life story and heartfelt music\, Lin will inspire the MCU community to pursue their dreams fearlessly\, embodying the theme “MCU 68: Brilliance in Motion”. \nLin Cheng-Wei\, a graduate of MCU’s Finance Department\, was once a well-known figure on campus\, serving as a Goodwill Ambassador\, the president of Finance Department Student Association\, and even earning the title of Mr. International. However\, in 2007\, a tragic accident left him with a spinal cord injury\, resulting in full-body paralysis. Despite the immense challenges\, he refused to give up. After two years of rehabilitation\, he returned to campus and\, in 2010\, was honored with MCU Spirit Award in recognition of his perseverance\, courage and determination. \nNow\, Lin returns to his alma mater to perform on the anniversary stage\, proving that even though he cannot walk\, he can still fly. Through music\, he will share his incredible journey of resilience\, demonstrating how one can create infinite value despite physical limitations. His heartfelt performance aims to uplift and inspire the entire MCU community. On this special day\, Lin will be joined by blind musician Nuji\, performing two songs: “銘傳尚勇” and “你是我的眼”—both carrying deep messages of bravery\, determination and hope. \nFor 68 years\, MCU has remained committed to academic excellence\, nurturing countless outstanding talents\, and promoting diverse and inclusive education. This year’s anniversary theme\, “MCU 68: Brilliance in Motion”\, not only reflects the university’s dynamic growth and progress but also serves as a reminder that\, like Lin Cheng-Wei\, every MCU student and faculty member can overcome challenges\, hold onto their beliefs and create an extraordinary life story.

DESCRIPTION:銘傳大學68週年校慶第48屆運動大會即將登場，田徑賽部份上週五（3/14）因天候不佳，場地濕滑而延至期中考後5/9（五）比賽，而其中備受矚目的「創意啦啦舞蹈錦標賽」則將於3/22（六）13:00在桃園校區體育館3樓熱血開戰；各學院代表隊伍將輪番登場，以充滿創意的編排、整齊劃一的動作與震撼全場的氣勢，爭奪最高榮譽。 \n比賽當日，開幕式結束後將由人文社會科學暨教育學院B隊率先登場，緊接著是人文社會科學暨教育學院A隊、法律學院、國際學院、資訊學院、觀光學院、傳播學院、金融科技學院、設計學院、健康暨醫學工程學院，最後由管理學院B隊與管理學院A隊壓軸演出，各隊將拿出最佳狀態一決高下。 \n本次競賽以創意、團隊精神、動作運用、服裝道具及聲音表現為評分標準，裁判將扣除各隊最高與最低分後計算最終成績。總成績前六名隊伍將獲得獎盃與獎金，佳作三名亦有獎勵。此外，表現優異的隊伍可獲得小功或嘉獎。比賽允許使用高抬舉動作，展現隊伍精湛的舞技，但須遵守安全規範，違規隊伍將面臨扣分。 \n啦啦舞蹈競賽不僅是體能與技巧的較量，更是各學院凝聚向心力、展現青春活力的重要舞台。去年的冠軍隊資訊學院是否能再次連覇？歡迎全校師生共襄盛舉，一同為參賽隊伍加油，見證這場充滿熱情與創意的競技盛宴！ \n48th Annual Sports Tournament of MCU’s 68th Anniversary is just around the corner!
