He is a design observer\, writer and designer who has published the Design Tokyo book series since 2006 (now 7 volumes). For over 20 years\, he has shared his design discoveries through podcasts\, Instagram\, Facebook and radio. \nWu frequently serves as a juror for major design exhibitions and teaches at universities. He collaborates with brands and businesses to promote design education and inspire everyday creativity through unique perspectives. \nSince 2018\, Wu has curated Dong Xi Pu\, a lifestyle concept store for adults at Huashan 1914 Creative Park. DESCRIPTION:燈光藝術裝置是什麼？ What is a Light Art Installation? \n燈光藝術裝置（Light Art Installation） 是近年相當熱門的新媒體藝術創作類型，許多場域都可以見到它們的蹤影，如各大藝術節、燈節、美術館、公共場域及表演舞台等，藝術家透過軟體編程與裝置結構整合，讓燈光不在只是恆亮與靜止不動的裝飾品，而是可以結合音樂節奏、觀眾互動、資訊數據、動力結構等元素，展現耳目一新的感官體驗。 \nLight Art Installation is a highly popular genre of new media art in recent years. You can find these installations at major art festivals\, lantern festivals\, art museums\, public spaces and performance stages. Artists use software programming and structural integration to transform light from static decoration into a dynamic medium that can synchronize with music\, respond to audience interaction\, visualize data and incorporate kinetic structures—delivering a fresh and immersive sensory experience. \n \n課程簡介 Course Overview \n「Pixel Light 燈光藝術裝置設計」（原課名：Coding Light 燈光藝術裝置創作） 是一堂對燈光裝置與科技藝術有興趣的朋友所開設的課程，這堂課會帶大家以簡單快速的方式入門燈光裝置的創作流程，過程我們將使用視覺化多媒體開發軟體 TouchDesigner，並專注於「光」的視覺創作，即使沒有技術與軟體開發背景也可以輕鬆學習！ \n新媒體藝術家-蔡秉樺梳理自身過去燈光裝置的創作經驗，作品類型包含互動燈光裝置、新媒體表演燈光設計等，將LED燈與軟體的整合、燈光視覺創作、音樂與燈光同步、燈光音樂節目至燈控介面設計等 Know-How，以淺顯易懂的方式讓大家對於燈光裝置有更多的認識與了解，在課程結束後，學員將可以掌握燈光裝置製作流程，並且有能力創作自己的燈光藝術裝置作品。 \n※課程所使用之軟體、LED燈、控制器皆由本單位提供，學員不需另行購買。 \n“Pixel Light – Designing Light Art Installation” (original course title: Coding Light) is designed for those interested in light installations and tech-based art. The featured speaker is Professor Huei-Min Lu\, author of The Indigenous Settlements along Sheluxi Creek. Drawing from years of fieldwork and academic research\, Professor Lu will vividly present the cultural landscape\, settlement memory and architectural resilience of traditional Paiwan communities\, offering participants a deeper understanding of the indigenous knowledge systems and spatial wisdom embedded in these old settlements. \nThe talk\, titled “Resilience and Migratory Memory in Mountain Settlements: The Indigenous Settlements along Sheluxi Creek”\, will explore themes such as spatial layout\, ecological thinking and the reconstruction of chieftain’s house. It highlights Paiwan people’s traditional wisdom and cultural heritage shaped by life in forested mountain regions. As global awareness of cultural preservation and biodiversity increases\, the architectural techniques and settlement systems of indigenous communities are gaining recognition for their significant value. \nThis event is limited to 40 participants.
