Crystal Vision of the Future：初探半導體的奧秘 Exploring the Wonders of Semiconductors
\nFrom a single grain of sand\, glimpse the light of future technology! Every chip is a masterpiece born from thousands of intricate processes and precise designs. Library will hold a special themed event\, “Crystal Vision of the Future: Exploring the Wonders of Semiconductors”\, from November 10 (Mon) to November 28 (Fri). Physical exhibitions will be displayed at both the Taipei and Taoyuan campuses\, while the Kinmen campus will host an online book fair simultaneously. \nCentered on the theme “The Invisible Power of Creation”\, this event invites faculty and students to step into the microscopic world of semiconductors and discover how chips are shaping the future of AI\, autonomous vehicles\, and smart technologies. \nThe event features three main sections — Thematic Book Exhibition\, Crystal Vision Theater\, and Chip Mission: Read × Decode Challenge. \n【Thematic Book Exhibition】Starting from the birth of a chip\, the exhibition explores four key perspectives — how chips are made\, how they are used\, how they transform the world\, and how they contribute to sustainability. The themed zones include: \n\n\n“Origins of Crystals: From Sand to Circuits” \n\n\n“Crystals in Motion: The Heart of Intelligent Computing” \n\n\n“Global Chip Networks: Industry Dynamics and Geopolitical Games” \n\n\n“Sustainable Circuits: Balancing Technology and the Earth”Visitors are guided from the microscopic scale of manufacturing to the global scope of industry and innovation\, gaining a holistic understanding of how semiconductors are reshaping our world. \n\n\n【Crystal Vision Theater】This viewing zone features selected documentaries\, industry stories\, and interviews with key figures from the semiconductor field. Through engaging visual storytelling\, faculty and students can explore the evolution\, breakthroughs\, and transformative impact of the chip industry—and feel how technology continues to change the world. \n【Chip Mission: Read × Decode Challenge】Combining interactive puzzles with reading exploration\, visitors can take part in the “Wafer Process Interactive Learning Board” and an online Q&A challenge (Process Challenge Link). Those who complete the challenge and borrow three physical books will receive a free LED night light (while supplies last). \nThe Library hopes that through this exhibition\, participants will not only gain insight into the technological ingenuity behind the semiconductor industry but also reflect on its sustainable development. All faculty and students are warmly invited to visit the Library and embark on a fascinating reading journey into the world of semiconductors — where knowledge meets innovation and light reveals the future.
