DESCRIPTION:期末將至，學業、人際與未來的不確定感常讓情緒在日常中悄悄累積。為陪伴同學在繁忙的學期末找到片刻喘息，桃園市政府衛生局社區心理衛生中心與銘傳大學圖書館合作，於12/15-19在桃園校區圖書館二樓中庭推出「情緒的棲地—讓自己喘口氣」微型體驗展，展期間每日9時至17時皆有工作人員在場協助，邀請同學在往返教室與圖書館途中，稍作停留，進入這座以情緒陪伴為核心的心靈花園。 \n展覽規劃多項互動體驗，以溫和方式引導同學與自身情緒連結。例如「喘息一下」提供語音引導的短暫呼吸練習；「我的心情藏在這本書裡」邀請翻閱心理療癒書籍，並將觸動人心的句子貼上展牆；「樹洞與希望樹」提供匿名書寫區域，將煩惱投進樹洞，並從其他人留下的祝福中獲得力量。現場亦設置BSRS-5心情溫度計自我檢測與心理資源專區，協助同學更清楚理解個人狀態，並找到可依循的協助方向。 \n活動期間完成指定互動任務、追蹤活動帳號並填寫小測驗，即可獲得喘息手冊與紓壓球，另有抽獎活動，獎品包含超商禮券、絨毛玩偶、運動毛巾與造型毛巾等，為展覽增添驚喜。展覽希望在期末前夕為校園帶來一處安定角落，讓同學在學習之餘獲得片刻整理與舒緩。 \nAs the end of the semester approaches\, the uncertainty of academics\, relationships\, and the future can cause emotions to quietly build up in daily life. To offer students a moment of relief during this busy period\, Taoyuan City Government Department of Public Health’s Community Mental Health Center is collaborating with MCU Library to present “A Little Garden for Your Emotions” Micro-Experience Exhibition\, held from December 15 to 19 in the 2nd-floor atrium of Taoyuan Campus Library. Staff members will be available from 9:00 to 17:00 each day to provide assistance. Students are invited to pause briefly between classes and library visits and step into this emotional-support–themed inner garden. \nThe exhibition features a series of gentle interactive experiences designed to help students reconnect with their emotions. Activities include: \n\n\n“Take a Breath” — a short guided breathing practice through audio instructions. \n\n\n“My Feelings Are Hidden in This Book” — browse therapeutic books and post meaningful sentences on the exhibition wall. \n\n\n“Tree Hollow & Wishing Tree” — an anonymous writing area where students can cast worries into the tree hollow and draw strength from others’ messages of encouragement. \n\n\nA BSRS-5 mood thermometer self-assessment and a mental health resource corner are also available to help students better understand their emotional state and locate appropriate support. \nDuring the exhibition\, students who complete designated interactive tasks\, follow the event account\, and fill out a short quiz will receive a breathing-space booklet and a stress-relief ball. A raffle will also be held\, with prizes including convenience store gift cards\, plush toys\, sports towels\, and themed hand towels\, adding a touch of excitement to the experience. Through exaggerated spatial visuals and lively characters\, the theme symbolizes how students begin with small learning steps and continually expand\, explore\, and challenge themselves. The main visual integrates design elements such as brush strokes\, rulers\, USB drives\, and trains\, representing the flow of inspiration and the transfer of technical skills throughout the creative process. It also reflects how students from diverse cultural backgrounds stimulate one another\, embrace challenges\, and grow together on their journey of digital creation.Warm tones and soft lighting form the visual atmosphere\, conveying that design is not only the presentation of skills but also a process of infinitely “zooming in” on passion and creativity. \nExhibition director Chen Hao-Hsiang expressed gratitude: “Thank you all for turning this journey into something worth looking back on.” He shared that in the School of Design\, students spent countless days working late\, revising drafts\, getting rejected\, and starting over\, yet these difficult moments became humorous and precious memories because classmates were there to support one another. He also thanked the faculty for their strict guidance and patient mentorship\, helping every student grow stronger through repeated refinement; as well as the mutual support among classmates—borrowing equipment\, sharing resources\, assisting each other with debugging—which played a crucial role in bringing the exhibition to completion. \n“Every finished work is the result of accumulated effort. DESCRIPTION:隨著聖誕節腳步將近，銘傳大學商業設計學系一年級「基礎設計」課程於12/12-18在桃園校區設計大樓M309教室外走廊，推出「MERRY XMAS 聖誕節卡片特展」。 \nAs Christmas approaches\, the first-year students of “Basic Design” course in Department of Commercial Design are presenting the “MERRY XMAS Christmas Card Exhibition” from December 12 to 18 in the hallway outside M309 of Design Building on Taoyuan Campus. \n \n本次展覽由商設系林建華、陳郭益言兩位老師共同指導「基礎設計」課程的大一生共同參與，全數作品皆使用系上「創客實驗基地」的Risograph孔版印刷機製作，透過色彩疊印與網點質感，交織出獨具特色的視覺語彙，為校園帶來一場融合前衛與復古風格的節慶藝術饗宴。 \nGuided by instructors Lin Chien-Hua and Chen Go-Yen\, all participating works were produced using the department’s Risograph printer in Maker Space. By leveraging the Risograph’s signature misregistration effect\, each Christmas card carries a one-of-a-kind handmade charm. Students moved beyond traditional red-and-green holiday palettes\, selecting freely from more than ten ink colors—including gold\, fluorescent pink\, fluorescent green\, fluorescent orange\, blue\, black\, and white. The resulting works span psychedelic\, luxurious\, and playful styles\, showcasing the experimental spirit and creative energy of Ming Chuan’s commercial design students. \nThe exhibition space outside M309 was selected to share the festive atmosphere with the campus community while highlighting the department’s “learning by doing” teaching philosophy. DESCRIPTION:銘傳大學113年海外青年技術訓練班大眾傳播科畢業成果展「向陽而聲 SUN NEVER FALLS」11/24-26、12/2-4在台北校區傳播大樓3樓「影響藝廊」展出，將展現在銘傳學習兩年的豐碩成果。 \n畢業展主題為「向陽而聲 SUN NEVER FALLS」，以希望與創意為軸心，象徵文字、音樂與影像在光芒的召喚下齊聲綻放。每一道聲音，都是對夢想的回響；每一縷光影，都是對未來的吟唱。18位來自馬來西亞的學生，歷經兩年的學習之旅即將來到尾聲，不只是展現勇敢的姿態，也是對夢想的熱誠與對未來的期待。 \n展覽分別以2週的形式展出，分成8個小組進行展出，第一週（11/24-26）展出畢籌組、形象/視覺設計廣告製作、公益數位行銷、聲音製作、影音製作（I）（MV）；第二週（12/2-4）展出畢籌組、專案策略行銷、公關倡議實驗、影音製作（II）（微電影），「影響藝廊」展覽期間每日10:00-16:00開放，歡迎師生、親友免費前往參觀。 \n畢展總召陳思潔同學表示，衷心感謝這兩年裡每一位老師的教導與陪伴，老師們不僅在課堂上傳授專業知識，也在生活中給予許多關懷與支持。「因為有老師們的耐心指導，讓我們在異國求學的日子裡也能感受到家的溫暖，謝謝老師們的辛勞與用心，讓我們能帶著滿滿的收穫迎向新的旅程。」 \n她分享到兩年的時間其實很短，但因為有大家，這段旅程變得特別充實。很感謝每位同學在這段時間裡的互相扶持與陪伴。或許因為大家都來自同一個國家－馬來西亞，所以相處起來格外自在、有共同話題，也讓我感受到滿滿的親切與溫暖。雖然班上只有18位學生，但大家都全心全力地一起完成了「向陽而聲」。謝謝大家，讓這段青春閃閃發光。 \nDepartment of Mass Communication of MCU’s Overseas Youth Vocational Training School (Class of 2024) will present its graduation exhibition\, “SUN NEVER FALLS”\, from 11/24–26 and 12/2–4 at Art Gallery on 3/F of Taipei Campus Communication Building\, showcasing the fruitful achievements of two years of study. \nThe exhibition theme\, “SUN NEVER FALLS”\, centers on hope and creativity\, symbolizing words\, music\, and images blossoming together under the call of light. Every voice is an echo of dreams; every beam of light is a song for the future. DESCRIPTION:桃園校區學生會將於10/20-23在明園廣場與體育一館沿廊舉辦年度文藝季，今年以「復古流轉」為主題，帶領全校師生穿梭於霓虹閃爍的80年代與繽紛多彩的Y2K時代之間。活動融合藝文市集與創意展演，讓懷舊與新潮交織出一場跨世代的文藝饗宴，重現屬於青春與藝術的浪漫氛圍。 \n本次文藝季共有校內外24組攤位登場，從古著服飾、手作飾品、香氛花藝到公仔玩具與飲品甜點，讓大家一次逛遍不同時代的風格創意。現場還設有互動打卡區，只要在復古電視牆前拍照、於IG限動標註【mcusa_ty】，即可兌換彈珠遊戲機會，幸運命中指定洞口還能獲得精美小禮。此外，大一新生若已繳交學生會費，還可至學生會攤位領取「期中歐趴糖」，為期中考加油添運。 \n壓軸登場的「復古流轉展演」將於10/23（四）中午登場，邀請三組師生團隊以音樂與舞蹈呈現不同年代的文化風貌，讓校園在旋律與節奏間流淌著復古情懷。桃園學生會誠摯邀請全校師生在10/20–23這段時光，走進明園市集、欣賞舞台展演，感受懷舊與創意交融的精彩，讓復古氣息成為這個秋天最浪漫的校園記憶。 \nStudent Association of Taoyuan Campus will host its annual Arts Festival from October 20 to 23 at Ming Garden and along the corridor of Gymnasium I. This year’s theme\, “Retro Rewind”\, invites students and faculty to travel through time—between the neon-lit 1980s and the vibrant\, colorful Y2K era. Blending an arts-and-crafts market with creative performances\, the festival creates a cross-generational celebration where nostalgia meets modern trends\, reviving the youthful romance of art and culture. \nThe festival features 24 booths from both on- and off-campus vendors\, offering a variety of goods ranging from vintage fashion\, handmade accessories\, fragrances\, floral designs\, and figurines to drinks and desserts\, allowing visitors to experience the creative styles of different eras. There will also be an interactive photo zone\, where participants can snap a picture in front of the retro TV wall\, tag @mcusa_ty in their Instagram Stories\, and exchange it for a chance to play a pinball-style game. Lucky players who hit the marked slot will win exclusive gifts. In addition\, first-year students who have paid their Student Association fee can visit the SA booth to collect a “Midterm Luck Candy”\, wishing them success in their exams. \nThe highlight of the festival\, the “Retro Rewind Showcase”\, will take place at noon on October 23 (Thu)\, featuring three student and faculty performance groups who will present the spirit of different eras through music and dance\, filling the campus with a nostalgic rhythm. \nThe Taoyuan Student Association warmly invites all students and faculty to join the celebration from October 20–23\, explore the Ming Garden market\, and enjoy the stage performances. DESCRIPTION:Trick or Treat！萬藝遇見鬼登場啦！這個秋天，銘傳校園即將被一場神秘的魔法包圍！睽違十年再度舉辦的「拾肆學藝性聯展」將於10/14（二）至10/16（四）10:00-17:00在明園熱鬧登場。今年活動以「萬藝遇見鬼」為主題，融合RPG冒險與萬聖節元素，邀請同學們化身冒險者，在校園裡展開一場結合藝術、創意與想像的探索之旅。 \n本次聯展共有七大學藝性社團聯手打造，包括咖啡社、茶藝社、JAPAN親和社、日語配音社、動漫同好社、媒體研究社與調酒社。各社團將以萬聖節角色登場，扮演故事中的神秘場景，並透過特色攤位展現不同文化與創作魅力。活動現場更設有集章闖關挑戰，只要參觀各社攤位並集滿指定印章數，即可至服務台兌換驚喜好禮。 \n主辦單位表示，希望透過此次聯展，讓同學在輕鬆互動中體驗學藝社團的創意能量，並在參與中找到志同道合的朋友。從香氣四溢的咖啡到繽紛奇幻的動漫，每一攤位都是一次冒險。勇敢的冒險者們，準備好踏入明園廣場，揭開「萬藝遇見鬼」的神秘序章了嗎？ \nTrick or Treat! Get ready — When Art Meets Ghosts is coming! This autumn\, MCU will be surrounded by a mysterious magical atmosphere. After a ten-year hiatus\, the 14th Joint Art & Cultural Exhibition will take place from October 14 (Tue) to October 16 (Thu)\, 10:00–17:00\, at Ming Garden. \nThis year’s theme\, “When Art Meets Ghosts”\, blends RPG adventure with Halloween elements\, inviting students to become brave adventurers embarking on a creative and imaginative journey across campus filled with art\, culture\, and storytelling. \nThe event brings together seven student art and cultural clubs\, including Coffee Club\, Tea Club\, Shinwa Club\, Japanese Dubbing Club\, ACG Club\, Media Research Club\, and Cocktail Club. Each club will embody a unique Halloween character and transform their booths into immersive themed scenes\, showcasing diverse cultures and creative talents. Visitors can also participate in a stamp collection challenge—complete the adventure by collecting stamps at various booths to exchange for surprise gifts at the service counter! \nThe organizers hope that through this lively and interactive exhibition\, students can experience the creativity and passion of the university’s art and cultural clubs while finding new friends who share similar interests. Overtime\, reports\, meetings\, KPIs—these terms incessantly remind us of our mental and physical exhaustion\, to the point where being a corporate slave feels even more tiring than being a pet at home! “I wish to be a cat in my next life” has become a deep-seated desire for many. Imagine living a carefree life like a cat—how wonderful that would be! A cat’s day is simple and leisurely—they sleep\, hunt for food\, cuddle\, play\, and live without conflict\, basking in unconditional love and trust while savoring every moment of the present. As they stretch out under the warm sun\, can we also learn from them how to regain inner peace and reconnect with ourselves? \nFor the 8th Taipei Illustration Fair in 2025\, we take inspiration from the theme “I Wish to Be a Cat in My Next Life” and invite everyone to explore this world of simplicity and ease. The artworks do not necessarily have to feature cats\, but through various illustrations\, we hope to help people rediscover the simple joys of life and reconnect with their inner spiritual world. \nThese artistic creations aim to inspire audiences to pause amidst their busy lives\, reflecting on how to return their hearts to themselves\, learn to enjoy the present moment\, and embrace inner tranquility. We hope this year’s Illustration Fair will serve as a small turning point in people’s lives\, encouraging them to rethink their life pace and find their own balance and happiness. Through illustration\, we will showcase how to express inner thoughts and seek simple joy and serenity in this complex world. DESCRIPTION:圖書館自2025年3月起，將於台北及桃園校區同步推出「學院SDGs主題學習資源」常設展覽。此展覽旨在引導全校師生深度探索永續發展目標（SDGs），並將其與各學院的專業領域緊密結合，鼓勵同學們從自身學科出發，挑戰跨領域學習，拓寬個人知識的深度與廣度。透過這個展覽，圖書館期望能激發全校師生對永續議題的關注，共同為實現永續未來而努力。 \n展區設計旨在引領師生們深入了解各學院如何將其專業知識與SDGs核心精神緊密結合。九月起，圖書館將分別在台北校區展示電機資訊學院的永續發展實踐，並在桃園校區聚焦國際學院的相關指標項目。展覽內容涵蓋豐富多元的學習資源，從實體與電子書籍到影片及主題資料庫，將線上與線下學習資源無縫融合，為師生們創造全新的學習體驗。這些展覽內容皆是根據研發處提供的「113學年度院、系永續發展核心目標及KPI調查表」精心策劃，確保資訊的專業性與關聯性。 \n圖書館誠摯邀請全校師生踴躍參與，一同透過這個常設展覽，探索永續知識的廣闊天地。這不僅是一場知識的饗宴，更是鼓勵跨域思考的契機。藉由認識各學院的永續目標，同學們將能更全面地理解SDGs的意義，並在自己的學術與人生旅程中，找到實踐永續價值的力量。 \nStarting in March 2025\, Library will launch the “School SDGs Learning Resources” permanent exhibition at both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses. The purpose of this exhibition is to guide faculty and students in deeply exploring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrating them closely with the professional fields of each college. It encourages students to start from their own disciplines\, embrace cross-disciplinary learning\, and broaden both the depth and breadth of their knowledge. Through this exhibition\, the library aims to inspire the entire university community to focus on sustainability issues and work together toward a sustainable future. \nThe exhibition is designed to showcase how each college integrates its professional expertise with the core principles of the SDGs. Beginning in September\, the library will highlight School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Taipei campus and International College at Taoyuan campus\, featuring their practices and contributions to sustainability. The exhibition presents a wide variety of learning resources—from physical and electronic books to videos and subject-specific databases—seamlessly integrating online and offline materials to create a new learning experience for faculty and students. \nAll exhibition content has been carefully curated based on the “2024 Academic Year Colleges and Departments Sustainable Development Core Goals and KPI Survey” provided by the Research and Development Office\, ensuring professional accuracy and strong relevance. \nThe library sincerely invites all faculty and students to visit and participate in this permanent exhibition. This is not only a feast of knowledge but also an opportunity to encourage interdisciplinary thinking. The Tate Modern in London has launched a series of commemorative events\, titled “Turner 250”. The highlight is the largest-ever global touring exhibition of William Turner’s work: “William Turner: Sublime Echoes”. Following stops in Monaco and Shanghai\, the exhibition will return to Taiwan in June of this year. Today\, it encompasses four galleries in the UK: Tate Britain\, the oldest; Tate Liverpool\, a major hub for Northern art; Tate St Ives\, deeply engaged in local cultural development; and Tate Modern\, the most popular. As the UK’s most representative and highly visited gallery\, the Tate Gallery boasts a collection encompassing 500 years of British and Western art\, with a particularly significant collection of masterpieces by William H. After his death\, some of his paintings were bequeathed to the nation\, while the majority remain at the Tate Modern. As the largest collection of Turner’s works\, the Tate Modern will present 80 authentic Turner paintings\, organized into seven sections: English Landscapes\, the Alps\, Venice\, Storms at Sea\, Between Sea and Sky\, Historical Stories\, and Sublime Aesthetics\, spanning his career. He began exploring the mountains\, documenting his experiences firsthand through sketches and watercolors. Turner was also captivated by the unique light and atmosphere of the mountains. He observed the reflections of colors in snow\, water\, and sky\, completing thousands of elementary studies and applying unexpectedly bold colors to striking effect. However\, the number of such works preserved in Turner’s studio suggests that he had completed them to his satisfaction. DESCRIPTION:水，無形而萬象。\n或為霧，繚繞淺山丘陵，喚醒沉睡的林間氣息；\n或為川，奔流於大地褶皺之間，雕刻時間的紋理；\n或為湖，靜靜映照歲月與天光。\n它在流動與寧靜之間，形塑風土，也召喚人與自然共生的文化記憶。 \n《穿霧之境》是一段由水引領、由霧籠罩的感知旅程，引領我們深入臺灣的淺山丘陵與深林地景。 展覽從「水的初形：霧雨中的森林語言」展開，霧作為水的初形，在模糊的光影中召喚人與自然最原初的感官連結；接著進入「水的遷形：河流與土地的織網」，水化為奔流之川，記錄著族群遷徙與文化變遷的足跡；最後抵達「水的聚形：靜水中的聚落記憶」，水如明鏡，映照生活與信仰的軌跡。 \n水在霧、川、湖的三種轉化中悄然塑形，串聯起自然與文化、感知與記憶、當下與未來。穿越霧境，我們再次傾聽水的語言，感受一場深植土地的靜謐流動。 \nWater is formless\, yet ever-shifting in its many expressions.\nIt becomes mist\, drifting through low hills and awakening the breath of slumbering forests;\nIt becomes rivers\, carving through the folds of the land\, etching the passage of time;\nIt becomes lakes\, quietly reflecting light and the memory of the past.\nIn its constant dance between motion and stillness\, water shapes the landscape—and evokes cultural memories of harmony between people and nature. \nThe Realm of Mist is a sensory journey guided by water and shrouded in mist. It leads us deep into Taiwan’s foothills and forested terrains. The exhibition begins with The First Form of Water: Forest Language in the Drizzle\, where mist—the earliest form of water—summons primal sensory connections between humans and the nature. It then flows into The Shifting Form of Water: The Interlacing of Rivers and Terrain\, where rivers trace stories of migration and cultural change. Finally\, it arrives at The Resting Form of Water: Settlements Reflected in Stillness\, where calm waters mirror the traces of everyday life and spiritual belief. \nAs mist\, river\, and lake\, water quietly reshapes itself—connecting nature and culture\, sensation and memory\, the present and what’s to come.\nThrough the mist\, we once again listen to water’s ancient language—feeling a silent current rooted deep in the land.

DESCRIPTION:主題館「接海之島」以《水社會》為策展核心，從島嶼的地理條件與文化脈絡出發，探索人、水與環境之間的多重關係。 \n展場主體為一座懸浮於空間中的大型編織裝置，由農用棚架、漁繩與海鹽構成，象徵島嶼與水共生的生命意象，形塑出一座結合感知經驗與環境記憶的流動文化地景。裝置下方構築水平延展、光影交織的水下場域，匯聚電影、紀錄片、攝影與書籍等多元媒材，鋪展出具敘事張力的沈浸式水社會圖景。 \n展覽精選24部橫跨年代的影像作品，邀集七位藝術家與攝影師參與，並呈現近40本主題書籍，涵蓋河海地景、生存經驗、信仰儀式、文化記憶與城鄉變遷等主題。透過時間、空間與觀點的交錯，引領觀者進入辯證與感知交融的閱讀狀態，進一步思索社會結構與文化記憶的流動與轉化。 \n「接海之島」採開放式策展結構，鼓勵觀者與素材之間建立自由連結，生成個人化的理解路徑。 \n這不只是關於水的展覽，更是一場文化辯證與未來想像的邀請。 \nThe Island of Seascapes takes Water Societies as its curatorial core\, exploring the multilayered relationship between people\, water\, and the environment through the island’s geography and cultural contexts. \nThe centerpiece is a large woven installation suspended in midair—composed of agricultural scaffolding\, fishing ropes and sea salt. It symbolizes the life-forms that emerge from coexistence with water\, shaping a sensory\, ever-shifting cultural landscape. Beneath it\, a reflective space unfolds\, interwoven with light and shadow\, showcasing films\, documentaries\, photography\, and books to compose a narrative-rich and immersive water society. \nThe exhibition presents 25 film and video works spanning different eras\, features contributions from six visual artists and photographers\, and offers nearly 40 books. These explore river and ocean ecologies\, survival experiences\, belief systems\, cultural memory\, and urban transformation. Through the layering of time\, space\, and perspective\, viewers enter a dialectical and sensory mode of reading\, and reflect on the flow and transformative nature of cultural memory and social structures. \nWith its open curatorial structure\, The Island of Seascapes invites audiences to freely connect with the materials\, shaping their own personal pathways of understanding. \nThis is not merely an exhibition about water—but a space for cultural dialogue and imagining the future.

DESCRIPTION:世界各洲以大洋相連，人們對「水」始終懷抱複雜的情感。\n羊水是人類最初的居所，海洋則是萬物的起源。水，既是生命的開端，也是信仰與文化交織之處。 \n當無形的水凝聚成形，成為變幻莫測的河流、深不見底的湖、與難以度量的海，它們自成一方與陸地隔絕的「他界」，令人畏懼其深邃，也寄予無限想像。 \n在臺灣的水信仰中，原住民族神話描繪祖先來自海洋，或因洪水遷徙至高山的敘事；平原上流傳著「青暝蛇做大水」的說法，形容溪河如盲蛇般任性改道。人們為生活開井建圳，並祭祀水靈；西拉雅族以壺盛水祭祖，沿海居民則迎神船渡海驅疫。 \n《有河之靈》將這些關於水的記憶與信仰，融入一座抽象的臺灣地景展台上。地形模擬自高山溪流至海口的地貌，觀者入場時先望見高山，繼而潛入冥河，在眾神與眾生的喧嘩中穿行，沿途經過江河、埤圳、河口，再登山溯源。於高低起伏之間，看見、聽見不同族群的水祭儀式、信仰工藝與故事傳說，也彷彿親身經歷了一段由水之靈引導的旅程。 \nAcross the continents\, oceans connect the world—yet water has always stirred complex emotions.\nAmniotic fluid is our first home; the ocean\, the origin of all life. Water marks both the beginning of existence and the place where culture and belief intertwine. \nWhen shapeless water takes form—as shifting rivers\, unfathomable lakes or immeasurable seas—it becomes an “otherworld”\, set apart from land. On the plains\, tales speak of the “blind serpent” that swells rivers and reshapes their course. Communities have dug wells\, built irrigation channels\, and held rituals to honor water spirits. The Siraya people offered ancestral rites with jars of water; coastal villagers send divine boats across the sea to ward off disease. \nThe Spirit of Water gathers these memories and beliefs into an abstract model of Taiwan’s landscape. The terrain flows from mountain streams to river mouths. Visitors first glimpse the highlands\, then descend into an underworld river\, weaving through gods and mortals\, past rivers\, canals\, and estuaries—before returning to the source. Amid rising and falling terrain\, one encounters the rituals\, crafts\, and stories of Taiwan’s many communities\, and journeys through a realm quietly guided by the spirits of water.

DESCRIPTION:中華民國都市設計學會主辦的「2025第14屆IEAGD大評圖－大學建築系畢業設計國際展覽」6/23公布台灣參展學生名單，銘傳大學建築學系畢業生許如欣的作品《溫度刻痕》入選「Taiwan 20」，將代表台灣與日本、香港、新加坡等地各大建築學院的學生，在8/1-17於台北藝術大學地下美術館舉行的國際展覽暨大評圖系列活動中進行交流。 \n銘傳建築系許如欣的畢業作品《溫度刻痕》，由陳為寧老師指導，以北投公園周遭為基地，探討硫磺、植物、氣候、建築、人之間的關係，獲得此次台灣建築系所學生畢業設計二十選「Taiwan 20」六位策展人之一的周書賢建築師事務所主持建築師周書賢青睞，雀屏中選。 \n許如欣透過對生活的觀察，發現「建築」不僅是承載行為的載體，也可能成為自然與人、事件與人之間的間接介質，將這種「間接性」轉化為一種行為概念：「測」，並非指透過儀器量取數據的精密測量，而是透過身體、材質與空間去感受、記錄、察覺自然變化的過程。 \n在空間中，這樣的行為可藉由材質變化、空氣溫濕感知、植物蔓延與身體觸覺實踐。她認為建築是一種測量自然流變、時間痕跡與人與環境關係的介質，並透過設計手法，將這些微小痕跡與變化具象化，讓人能在空間中意識到環境的存在與變動，並提醒人們自然與人為之間，需要保持調節與平衡的關係。 \n「IEAGD大評圖－大學建築系畢業設計國際展覽」首創2012年，不僅是跨國性的畢業設計交流平台，也是促進國際交往及提升國內建築教育的內涵與視野，今年共有6位策展人從全國各建築系所畢業作品中進行評選，僅選出20組作品，將代表台灣與日本、香港、新加坡的學生，在8/1-17舉行的國際展覽暨大評圖系列活動中進行交流。 \nOn June 23\, Chinese Institute of Urban Design announced the list of Taiwanese student participants for 14th IEAGD lnternational Exhibition of Architecture Graduation Design (2025). MCU Department of Architecture graduate Hsu Ju-Hsin was selected for her project “Traces of Temperature”\, which earned a spot in the “Taiwan 20” list. Her work will represent Taiwan alongside top architecture students from Japan\, Hong Kong\, Singapore\, and other regions at the international exhibition and critique event held August 1–17 at Underground Experimental Field of Taipei National University of Arts. \nHsu Ju-Hsin’s graduation project\, “Traces of Temperature”\, was guided by Professor Chen Wei-Ning and takes Beitou Park as its base. It explores the relationship between sulfur\, vegetation\, climate\, architecture\, and humans. Her project was favored by one of the six curators\, architect Chou Shu-Hsien\, principal of Chou Shu-Hsien Architects\, and was ultimately selected as part of the “Taiwan 20”. \nThrough close observation of daily life\, Hsu discovered that architecture is not merely a vessel for activities\, but also a potential medium that indirectly connects nature and people\, or events and people. She transformed this idea of indirectness into a behavioral concept: “measuring”. This is not the precision of instruments quantifying data\, but rather a sensory process of perceiving\, recording\, and becoming aware of natural changes through the body\, materials and space. \nIn spatial terms\, such behavior can manifest through changes in materials\, perception of air temperature and humidity\, the spread of vegetation\, and tactile bodily experiences. Hsu believes architecture can serve as a medium for measuring the flows of nature\, the marks of time\, and the relationships between people and their environment. Through design techniques\, she gives form to these subtle traces and changes\, enabling users to perceive the presence and transformation of their surroundings—and reminding us of the need to maintain a balanced and responsive relationship between the natural and the man-made. \nLaunched in 2012\, the IEAGD lnternational Exhibition of Architecture Graduation Design is a pioneering cross-border platform for architectural graduation work. It promotes international exchange and enhances the depth and global perspective of Taiwan’s architectural education. This year\, six curators reviewed graduation projects from architecture departments nationwide and selected only 20 entries. These works will represent Taiwan and engage in international dialogue with students from Japan\, Hong Kong and Singapore in the exhibition and series of critique sessions held from August 1 to 17.

At that time\, the waters were clear and coral thrived. After the shipwreck\, the hull and its vessels became bases for marine life to grow and attach. \nOver time\, corals and shellfish flourished on the surfaces of these man-made items\, coating and competing. The once-symmetrical vessels were gradually deformed and reshaped by biological remnants and minerals. \nThe objects\, originally crafted with precision\, became rugged and irregular. As modern civilization advanced\, mining in Jinguashi released heavy metals and acidic substances into the ocean\, altering its fate. The Yin-Yang Sea phenomenon emerged\, devastating the once-thriving coral reefs\, leaving only these vessels—rewritten by life and time. \nThe Burial series brings these fictional relics ashore. Each piece is a fragment dredged from the seabed—a co-creation of time and nature\, a testimony to a lost civilization. They no longer belong to a single era or culture\, but are traces of intertwined\, decaying lives.
