DESCRIPTION:法國哲學家傅柯（Michel Foucault\, 1926-1984）可說是二戰以來繼沙特（Jean-Paul Sartre\, 1905-1980）之後，最為人所知、思想也最為原創的法國哲學家之一。在其生命短短不到六十年的歲月裡，留下了《古典時代的瘋狂史》（Histoire de la folie à l’âge classique\, 1961）、《臨床的誕生》（Naissance de la clinique\, 1963）、《詞與物》（Les mots et les choses\, 1966）、《知識考古學》（L’archéologie du savoir\, 1969）、《話語的秩序》（L’ordre du discours\, 1971）、《監視與懲罰》（Surveiller et punir\, 1975）、四卷《性史》（Histoire de la sexualité I -IV），並留下數千篇中短論文與訪談，收錄在《文與言》（Dits et écrits I et II），還有在他過世後，門生故舊編纂的手稿等，諸如《主體的解釋學》（L’herméneutique du sujet\, 2001）、《非正常的人》（Les Anormaux\, 1999）等十四餘冊書籍。今年適逢其逝世四十週年，就讓我們以兩次的講座來引領讀者進入傅柯短暫又多彩的世界。 \nFrench philosopher Michel Foucault (1926-1984) is considered one of the most renowned and original thinkers in France since World War II\, following Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980). Despite his relatively short life of less than sixty years\, Foucault left behind significant works including Madness and Civilization (Histoire de la folie à l’âge classique\, 1961)\, The Birth of the Clinic (Naissance de la clinique\, 1963)\, The Order of Things (Les mots et les choses\, 1966)\, The Archaeology of Knowledge (L’archéologie du savoir\, 1969)\, The Order of Discourse (L’ordre du discours\, 1971)\, Discipline and Punish (Surveiller et punir\, 1975)\, and the four-volume History of Sexuality (Histoire de la sexualité I-IV). He also produced thousands of essays and interviews collected in Dits et écrits I et II\, as well as posthumously compiled manuscripts by his students and colleagues\, such as The Hermeneutics of the Subject (L’herméneutique du sujet\, 2001) and Abnormal (Les Anormaux\, 1999). They will research\, explore\, disrupt\, or excavate\, using various possibilities and concepts in interesting spaces to find their creation. \n陳群翰 Chen Qun-han｜我獨自在共同體的想像中跳舞 Dancing Alone in the Imagination of a Community \n這個作品想對於自身文化的運行狀態、人對文化的辨認方式，以及纏捲其中的歸屬感議題進行探問：順著文化的河流回望，河流漸漸分岔成不同的支流。雖然支流在不同階段匯進大河之中，大河的組成是不斷變動的，我們卻仍然將這些成份不同的階段，納進同一個大河的名字。一條河或一個文化，在變動中，我們如何指稱眼前的事物？ \n記憶、情感、身體樣態，在時間中逐漸在我的體內累積、混合、變形。我想把發生在我身上的混合狀態跳出來，給予他們形狀，看看他們會怎樣被重新想像。我好奇的是命名與指認的政治性：我們如何想像一個名字的內容？我們如何認為眼前的樣態足以匹配這個名字？我們如何冠上名字而忽略混雜其中的他者？ \nThis work explores the operation of one’s own culture\, how people identify with it\, and the sense of belonging intertwined within it. As we follow the cultural river\, it splits into different streams at various stages\, yet we name them all as one river. How do we name the constantly changing elements of culture? This piece dances out the mixed states within me\, giving them shape and exploring the politics of naming and recognition. \n陳璽尹 Chen Xi-yin｜我獨自在練愛腦跳舞 Dancing Alone in the Practice of Love \n「愛是什麼？」迷失於愛中，正獨自尋找著練習愛的源頭，曾經以唇尖觸碰的那張紙也著火了，燃燒的濃煙，指引著我找到藏於內部身處燻黑的靈魂。真的找不到出口？還是嫌麻煩？只想沈浸在赤紅而旺盛的一簇火焰中，來吧！燃燒吧！連同悲傷一起愛著吧！ \n本作品嘗試以「戀愛腦」為主題發想，透過紙的「燃點」去探索人如何用自己「愛」的方式去升溫「愛」，呈現人在被愛衝昏頭時的擺盪不定，跨越燃點界線的內與外，在意識與控制那剛剛好的臨界點中，用愛去尋找自我的過程。 \n（特別感謝：郭學勻、陳寘尹） \n“What is love?” Lost in love\, searching for the source of practicing love. A burning paper touched by the lips guides me to the charred soul within. This work explores the theme of “romantic brain” through the “ignition point” of paper\, presenting the process of finding oneself through love. \n郭研華 Kuo Yen-hua｜我獨自在#的#跳舞 Dancing Alone in the # of # \n作品試圖在探索中提問： \n每個人的身體都是層層堆疊的歷史，在這些歷史裡，身份、經歷都成為關鍵字，那些「字詞」不僅在身體留下痕跡，更成為一種自我的形象，被個體賦予意義。 \n於是我們學會很快的，搜查、找尋、發現、確認，用這種方式在追求方便和快速的時代中，「認識」彼此。 \n而在過程中，總會發現，那些區分好的每一格群體之間，人與人，仍是那麼的不同。 \n關鍵字之中，藏著飄移的隱形標準，保護合格者，排斥缺乏者。 \n那麼，我們在關鍵字之內的身體，能可以如何拓展、拓寬它的本意？ \n身體如何能早在「它」出現之前，建立起自己的存在，而不仰賴它？ \nThis work questions and explores: each body is a layered history where identities and experiences become keywords\, leaving traces and forming a self-image. DESCRIPTION:住在台北的人們，是不是都能被廣泛地稱為「台北的房客」？有時租的已經不是房子本身，而是一段看不見盡頭的感情關係、離公司最近的通勤距離、甚至是一個上台北打拚的夢想；這些抽象而遙不可及的概念，被塞在可能會漏水、沒有對外窗、不能申請租屋補助、沒有電梯的老公寓頂樓加蓋雅房裡，看起來莫名有種不協調的荒謬感。身為台北人的我，每天爬著五層樓的樓梯（連喝醉酒的時候都是），推開租屋處的門，氣喘吁吁但仍甘之如飴，這樣的日子至今已是第四年。我想，這段存在於我與「台北租屋」之間的關係，可能算是某種斯德哥爾摩症候群。 \n在看膩了光鮮亮麗的家訪後，我們邀請3組朋友開箱他們於台北的租屋處，並分享他們家最荒謬的角落。除了利用補償心理讓彼此都好過一點外，更能從這些慘到不行的屋況中，找到能一笑置之的幽默感。 \n本次主題「台北房客的斯德哥爾摩症候群－那些不光鮮亮麗的部分」，邀請到與台灣居住權息息相關的崔媽媽基金會一起，直接來聊聊租屋秘訣，現場更挑選了相關書籍展出分享。 \nFor those living in Taipei\, can we broadly refer to them as “Taipei’s tenants”? Sometimes\, what we’re renting isn’t just a house\, but an endless emotional relationship\, the closest commuting distance to work\, or even a dream of making it in Taipei. These abstract and distant concepts are crammed into absurd living spaces\, like top-floor rooms in old apartments that may leak\, have no windows\, aren’t eligible for rental subsidies\, or lack elevators. As a Taipei resident\, I’ve been climbing five flights of stairs every day (even when drunk)\, pushing open the door to my rented room\, out of breath but still content. This has been my life for four years now. I think the relationship between me and “renting in Taipei” could be classified as some form of Stockholm syndrome. \nTired of seeing only the glamorous side of home visits? We’ve invited three groups of friends to showcase their rental places in Taipei and share the most ridiculous corners of their homes. Besides using this as a coping mechanism\, we hope to find humor in these dire living conditions. \nThis event\, “The Stockholm Syndrome of Taipei’s Tenants: The Not-So-Glamorous Parts”\, features a collaboration with the Tsuei Ma Ma Foundation for Housing and Community Services\, which is deeply involved with housing rights in Taiwan. DESCRIPTION:邁入第廿六屆的臺北藝術節於八月二日至九月八日登場，今年的主題為「時間博物館」，包括十檔售票、一檔免費節目、二場免費駐地研究分享，共計四十場次的演出，參演藝術家來自日本、法國、比利時、泰國、臺灣，從不同角度、以不同形式，展現看待及處理歷史的多元角度。 \n在時間博物館，「劇場史」可以是透過劇場重述歷史，如黎煥雄與吳子敬的跨世代合作，重塑1987年臺灣小劇場運動的代表作品《闖入者》；金枝演社劇團《西來庵》與同黨劇團《父親母親》，在政局變異中召喚身分認同，再探台灣人權歷程。 \n除了集體記憶，「劇場史」也可以是個人生命經驗的再回溯，維帢亞．阿塔瑪（Wichaya Artamat）《曼谷公寓》用雙視角探尋泰國社會文化的另一面；即將擺脫少女身分的蘇品文，一頭鑽進剩女經濟學，企圖透過與法國國家舞蹈中心（Centre National de la Danse）共製之作品《剩女經濟》對厭女社會展開大逆襲；米耶・沃洛普（Miet Warlop）《一路到底》的瘋狂演奏，回應的是每個人生命中都會經歷過的巨大失去。前法國國家舞蹈中心藝術總監瑪蒂德・莫尼葉（Mathilde Monnier）的《黑暗之光》，企圖說服我們，身上的傷痕，其實是復原與重生的起點。 \n「劇場史」還可以是架空歷史，如馮莎．夏紐（François Chaignaud）與麿赤兒（Akaji Maro）的《黃金雨》，揉合神話帶來一場超越年齡、性別的無邊界探索。四把椅子劇團《太陽》在架空的疫後世界，準確預言人性的光明與黑暗。 \n當藝術家與我們共同在劇場創造了歷史上的某個時刻，其實都在書寫劇場史的篇章，而所有的歷史都是當代史，無論是「重述」歷史、經驗的「再」回溯、「架空」的歷史，這些說故事的方式，都是臺灣當代劇場的重要時刻。 \nThe 26th Taipei Arts Festival is set to take place from August 2 to September 8. Wichaya Artamat’s Bangkok Apartment offers a dual perspective on Thai social and cultural issues\, while Su Pin-wen\, on the verge of leaving her girlhood behind\, dives into the economics of “leftover women” with her work The Leftover Woman’s Economy\, co-produced with the Centre National de la Danse\, launching a fierce counterattack against a misogynistic society. Miet Warlop’s One Song is a frenzied performance responding to the profound losses everyone experiences in life. Former artistic director of the Centre National de la Danse\, Mathilde Monnier\, in A Light in the Dark\, attempts to convince us that our scars are actually the starting point of recovery and rebirth. \n“Theater History” can also involve an alternate history\, such as François Chaignaud and Akaji Maro’s Gold Shower\, which blends myth to create a boundless exploration beyond age and gender. Four Chairs Theatre’s Sun accurately predicts the light and darkness of human nature in a post-pandemic world. \nWhen artists create a moment in history with us in the theater\, they are writing a chapter in the history of theater\, and all history is contemporary history. DESCRIPTION:英國藝術家Martin Harman的創作特色，以英國著名景點「巨石陣」遺址為靈感，雕塑出具有抽象風格的陶瓷藝術。他的作品探討信仰、靈性、空間等主題，反映出他對現實世界的深思，並象徵著逃離現實、進入虛幻境地的過程。 \n 此次在本館展出的「小即是美」系列，依然以巨石陣遺址為靈感，並呈現一系列小型的抽象陶瓷雕塑。作者在創作理念中提到：「傳統上，雕塑通常被認為是大型作品。然而，如果雕塑變小，會是什麼樣子？」因此，他在這次個展中，以巨石陣遺址的觀察為基礎，創作了這些小型陶瓷作品。 \n 巨石陣以其高聳的圓形幾何結構和神秘的謎團，吸引了來自世界各地的遊客，也激發了作者對周遭世界的不同理解。對於大多數人而言，我們努力去理解所見的一切，然而，巨石陣卻邀請觀眾探索它自身的意義。作者透過這些小型陶瓷作品，讓觀眾在微觀中體驗宏觀，並重新審視我們對世界的認知。 \nBritish artist Martin Harman’s work is inspired by the famous Stonehenge site\, creating abstract ceramic sculptures that explore themes of belief\, spirituality and space. His creations reflect deep contemplation of the real world while symbolizing a process of escaping reality and entering a surreal realm. \nIn this “Small is Beautiful” series exhibited at the gallery\, Harman continues to draw inspiration from Stonehenge\, presenting a series of small\, abstract ceramic sculptures. The artist’s concept questions traditional notions: “Sculpture is often regarded as large-scale works. But what if sculptures were made small?” Thus\, this solo exhibition showcases small ceramic works based on his observations of the Stonehenge site. \nStonehenge\, with its towering circular geometric structures and enigmatic mysteries\, attracts visitors from around the globe and has inspired the artist to perceive the world in new ways. While most people strive to understand everything they see\, Stonehenge invites viewers to explore its own meanings. He began with street photography and eventually moved on to creating his own 3D backgrounds\, through which he conveys different facets of society. \nIn this workshop\, Jerry will share how he finds suitable subjects to photograph and how he interacts and guides them during the shoot. \nAs we move into the age of AI\, the integration of virtual and real elements is a growing trend. DESCRIPTION:阿美族青年風曦提案帶領的作品。釀酒與音樂創作擁有許多共通點：都把眾多個別元素控制在手，並且產生甜美的結果。遵循傳統技術的釀酒，更蘊藏著原住民族對於在外打拚族人的回饋之意，搭配祭典歌舞的現場呈現，觀眾將隨著風曦「用聲音釀酒」，透過嗅覺、聽覺與視覺等感官體驗，探尋這段充滿感謝與期盼的旅程，節目總長約50分鐘。 \nThis performance is led by Amis youth風曦. Brewing and music composition share many similarities: both involve controlling various individual elements to produce a sweet result. Traditional brewing techniques embody the indigenous people’s spirit of giving back to those who work far from home. Accompanied by live ceremonial songs and dances\, the audience will join Feng Xi in “brewing with sound\,” experiencing a journey filled with gratitude and hope through their senses of smell\, hearing\, and sight. DESCRIPTION:頭城背山面海，東臨太平洋，擁有長達28公里的海岸線，海岸線之變化也極具多樣性，其中頭城的大溪川源自中央山脈，又名大溪溪，為一位於台灣東部之縣市管河川， 主流發源於頭城鎮大溪里三分二山東麓，先向東北東流，經內大溪後轉東南，最終於大溪漁港南側注入太平洋。 為頭城北側最主要的自來水水源地，也是台灣洄游動物豐富的棲地熱區之一。 \n河川水質清澈，河床多卵石，適合魚類棲息繁衍，是水鳥、魚類和兩棲動物的重要棲地。大溪川出海口與海洋相連，形成獨特的河口生態系統，透過五感體驗、戶外觀察，邀請你在大自然中放鬆身心，手腳並用，徒步溪流，蒐集自然可用素材，還有徜徉於沁涼暢快之中，覺察自然與我們共存的種種感動！ \nToucheng\, situated with mountains behind and facing the sea\, borders the Pacific Ocean to the east and boasts a 28-kilometer coastline. The diverse coastline includes Daxi River\, which originates from the Central Mountain Range and is also known as Daxi Stream. It is a county-managed river located in eastern Taiwan\, originating from the eastern foothills of Sanfen Ershan in Daxili\, Toucheng Township. The river initially flows northeast\, then turns southeast after Neidaxi\, and finally flows into the Pacific Ocean south of Daxi Fishing Harbor. It is the primary water source for northern Toucheng and a rich habitat for migratory animals in Taiwan. \nThe river’s clear water and pebble-strewn riverbed make it an ideal habitat for fish\, waterfowl\, and amphibians. The river mouth connects with the ocean\, forming a unique estuarine ecosystem. Stuff the chicken with pomelo flesh soaked in fruit vinegar and wild vegetables\, then coat it with pomelo sauce and a touch of honey after roasting. Grill the two-tone Toron over a small fire until the skin is crispy and it puffs up\, then dip it in caramel sauce. Its firm texture and rich aroma\, sweet but not cloying\, offer a comforting taste that lingers. In every bite\, you’ll find not just food but the hidden beauty of the fields. \n \n小米鞦韆野宴 Millet Swing Feast｜蓋亞那工作坊 Kaiana \n野宴時間 Time：8／24 18:30-20:00 \n票券售價 Fee：NT$800／人 \n從關山火車站循著道路往山邊前進，抵達位於崁顶的蓋亞那工作坊，陣陣小米香氣飄散在空氣中，抬頭就見一串串金黃。小米是布農族的重要作物，蓋亞那的故事更是從小米開始，無論生活、祭儀、文化，都依循著小米的開始與結束。Ibu說，餐桌上如果沒有小米，等於沒有來過布農族的餐桌吃飯；用一頓餐食的時間，感受崁頂布農文化的豐富底蘊。 \nFollow the road from Guanshan Train Station towards the mountains to reach the Gayana Workshop in Kanding\, where the air is filled with the scent of millet. Millet is a vital crop for the Bunun people\, and Gayana’s story begins with millet\, integral to their life\, rituals\, and culture. According to Ibu\, if there is no millet on the table\, it means you haven’t truly experienced a Bunun meal. Hlama Blbul (banana rice) is a must-have for tribal celebrations or when welcoming esteemed guests. It’s also a common food for hunters. “Hlama” means sticky food\, describing the inseparable relationships in Truku culture. Chef Riyai is either in the kitchen or in the sea\, and every dish reflects his excellent skills and dedication.
