SUMMARY:2024松山文創學園祭 SCCP Grad Expo 《吾所＿Way》
DESCRIPTION:「松山文創學園祭」從扶植原創的精神出發，提供學生們展現創意的舞臺，並深入了解產業動態，達到全方位產學合作培育，從 2012 年第一屆開始已舉辦十三年，共超過100所學校、136個校系，超過500檔畢業展、2000件以上畢業作品參與。 \n畢業，對大多數的學生來說，意味著脫離學校前往人生下一個目標，然而對沒有標準答案的未來，以及社會及家人對於自己的期待多少會有些躊躇與茫然。 \n本次學園祭以「吾所_Way」，作為主題，吾所於字面「我的」的意思，結合英文Way，“_”為英文符號 (underscore) 意指「重要」，連結英文Way代表方向，希望畢業生以探索自己的人生方向出發，創造屬於自己的人生。 \n期望畢業生在往後人生道路上，能夠找到自己的方向，不管是要就業、升學、創業或是暫時休息探索人生目標，只要那是你想要的方向，都應該努力追尋與追求，在追尋的過程中或許迷惘或許會遇到挑戰，但也希望畢業生仍夠無所畏懼，勇往直前！ \nSCCP Grad Expo is founded on the spirit of fostering originality\, providing a stage for students to showcase their creativity\, and deeply understanding industry dynamics to achieve comprehensive industry-academia collaboration. Since its inception in 2012\, it has been held for thirteen years\, involving over 100 schools and 136 departments\, with more than 500 graduation exhibitions and over 2000 graduation works participating. \nGraduation\, for most students\, signifies leaving school and moving towards the next goal in life. However\, there may be some hesitation and confusion about the uncertain future and the expectations of society and family. \nThis year’s festival is themed “吾所_Way”. “吾所” (Wǔ Suǒ) means “mine” in Chinese\, and combined with the English word “Way”\, the underscore “_” symbolizes importance. It signifies connecting with the direction represented by “Way”\, hoping that graduates will explore their life paths and create their own futures. \nWe hope that graduates will find their direction in life\, whether it is employment\, further studies\, entrepreneurship\, or taking a break to explore life goals. As long as it is the direction you desire\, you should pursue it with determination. During this pursuit\, you may encounter confusion or challenges\, but we hope that graduates will remain fearless and move forward courageously!

Concurrently\, the “Charles Chen – Drawing Exhibition” will feature cross-disciplinary artist Charles Chen’s hand-drawn illustrations of Taiwanese cuisine and street scenes\, offering a cultural exploration through street food. It boasts a rich and complex history\, culture\, and architectural background\, presenting intriguing contrasts throughout the city. This special exhibition features selected photographs of unique architectural styles from “Open House Worldwide” events around the globe\, as well as remarkable records from four years of “Open House Taipei”. Through sketches and hand-drawn illustrations\, he captures memorable local snacks\, Western pastries\, family recipes\, and street scenes from everyday life. DESCRIPTION:建築學系第21屆畢業製作成果展「不在場製造 MADE IN ABSENCE」，5/31-6/2在松山文創園區3號倉庫舉行校外展，展示建築系學生5年的學習成果；6/1並安排有「建築國際講座」，將邀請日本知名建築師夫妻檔手塚貴晴和手塚由比來台演講，歡迎對建築設計有興趣的民眾、師生免費前往參加。 \n建築系是銘傳唯一修業年限為5年的學系，今年畢業班共有48位學生，預計展出43件模型設計作品、8件論文海報展示。畢展主題「不在場製造 MADE IN ABSENCE」，表達這五年來，同學們一直藉由每次的設計，窺探建築的世界，就如同門縫溢出的光線一般，循著這條路徑擴散出的光。同學們帶著各自不同地方的生活經驗與詮釋，提出各自的想法、提問與質疑，為五年的建築學習短暫作結，透過作品敘述關於建築更多的可能性。 \nThe 21st graduation exhibition of the Department of Architecture\, titled “MADE IN ABSENCE”\, will be held from May 31 to June 2 at Warehouse No. 3 in the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. This off-campus exhibition showcases the results of five years of learning by the architecture students. On June 1\, there will also be an “International Architecture Lecture”\, featuring renowned Japanese architect couple Takaharu and Yui Tezuka. This event is free and open to the public\, as well as to teachers and students interested in architectural design. \nThe Department of Architecture is the only department with a five-year program. This year’s graduating class consists of 48 students\, who will be presenting 43 design models and 8 thesis posters. The exhibition theme\, “MADE IN ABSENCE”\, reflects the students’ journey over the past five years. They have continuously explored the world of architecture through their designs\, akin to light streaming through a door crack\, spreading along a path. Bringing their diverse life experiences and interpretations\, the students present their ideas\, questions\, and critiques\, offering a brief conclusion to their architectural education while narrating the potentialities of architecture through their works. \n \n同時，為增進學生的國際視野，銘傳大學建築學系與冠德玉山教育基金會共同主辦「建築國際講座：手塚貴晴+手塚由比 X 溫子先的對話」，6/1上午9:30-11:30在畢業展現場舉行，由銘傳大學設計學院副院長李芝瑜、十彥建築師事務所建築師陳彥伶共同主持，邀請以當代木構設計為主的日本建築家Takaharu Tezuka + Yui Tezuka(手塚貴晴與手塚由比)，與來自全球十大建築師事務所Aedas(凱達環球)全球設計董事 Dr. Andy Wen(溫子先)進行一場對談，講座全程以英文進行，無中文翻譯。 \n手塚貴晴、手塚由比建築師夫妻檔曾獲得日本Good Design Award金獎、美國ArchDaily Building of the Year等大獎，並曾榮獲來自聯合國UNESCO頒發永續性建築的全球獎項。溫子先建築師設計的作品富於文化特色且屢獲殊榮，如WAF(世界建築節大獎)、APPA(亞太房地產大獎)、HKIA(香港建築師會大獎)、(AIA)美國建築師學會大獎、MIPIM等。手塚貴晴與溫子先曾經為Upenn(賓夕法尼亞大學)的同窗，在本次講座的對談中，除了建築的觀點之外，也能聽到兩人的建築養成，本場國際講座與畢展活動皆免費入場，歡迎踴躍參加。 \nIn addition\, to broaden students’ international perspectives\, Department of Architecture\, in collaboration with Kindom Yu San Education Foundationn\, will host the “International Architecture Lecture: Takaharu + Yui Tezuka in Dialogue with Andy Wen”. This lecture will take place on June 1 from 09:30 to 11:30 at the graduation exhibition venue. It will be co-hosted by Associate Dean of School of Design\, Jeanne Lee\, and architect Chen Yen-ling from Yen Partnership Architects. The lecture features contemporary wooden structure design architects Takaharu Tezuka and Yui Tezuka from Japan\, and Dr. Andy Wen\, Global Design Director at Aedas\, one of the world’s top ten architectural firms. The entire lecture will be conducted in English without Chinese translation. \nTakaharu and Yui Tezuka have received numerous accolades\, including Japan Good Design Award Gold Prize and ArchDaily Building of the Year award. They have also been honored with global awards for sustainable architecture from UNESCO. Dr. Andy Wen’s culturally rich designs have won prestigious awards such as World Architecture Festival (WAF) Award\, Asia Pacific Property Awards (APPA)\, Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) Award\, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Award\, and MIPIM. \nTakaharu Tezuka and Andy Wen were classmates at the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn). In this dialogue\, besides discussing architectural perspectives\, they will share insights into their architectural training and education. Both the international lecture and the graduation exhibition are free to attend\, and everyone is welcome to participate enthusiastically.

On June 1\, the “Taoyuan Elite Ensemble” will feature the Longtan Philharmonic Orchestra\, the pride of Taoyuan\, joining forces with elite community wind bands from across Taiwan to showcase the rich musical characteristics of various regions. On June 2\, the “Asian Youth Wind Ensemble” will be brought to you by Taoyuan Ten School Alliance vs Malaysia St. John Cadet Corps Band\, highlighting the “youth\, vitality\, and hope” of young wind musicians and concluding the festival on a perfect note. \nThe performances will be live-streamed online. Distinguished guests such as Deputy Minister of Ministry of the Interior\, Ma Shi-yuan; President of Taiwan Institute of Urban Planning\, Bai Ren-de; and President of National Federation of Urban Planners Associations\, Qu En-xi\, along with faculty and students from 17 universities across the country\, will gather at MCU. 31 projects will compete and showcase their brilliance at the venue\, promising an exciting event! \nThe theme for this year’s exhibition is “Space x Governance x Sustainable Resilience”\, symbolized by the infinity sign “∞” to represent unlimited potential and everlasting principles\, combined with the imagery of urban governance and a triangle ruler symbolizing planning and design tools. This theme highlights the dazzling results of the hard work and learning by students from 17 planning departments nationwide\, featuring 31 group projects. \nAfter the opening speeches by the attending dignitaries\, Professor Chen Zhen-jiang from School of Science and Engineering\, Kanazawa University\, Japan\, will deliver a keynote speech on “International Comparison of National Land Planning”\, providing a diverse and broad perspective on land planning. The afternoon will be dedicated to competition evaluations and results sharing. The closing ceremony will announce the exhibition competition results\, with Deputy Director-General of National Land Management Agency\, Ministry of the Interior\, Xu Yan-xing\, presenting awards such as the Outstanding Planning Award and the Outstanding National Land Planning Award from the National Federation of Urban Planners Associations. \nMCU President Lee Hsuan-shih emphasized that at this crucial time of challenges and opportunities\, it is essential to explore how to build a more resilient and sustainable future together. Sustainable governance and resilience are not only significant challenges but also hold tremendous potential. Through this competition and exhibition\, students and faculty from 17 planning departments nationwide can stimulate innovative thinking\, promote collaboration\, and drive sustainable development goals. By working together\, we can shape a better world for our future. \nDean of the School of Design and Professor of Urban Planning and Disaster Management\, Hung Chi-tung\, highlighted that the exhibition and competition will showcase various solutions and creative ideas\, ranging from urban planning to resource management\, climate change to social equity\, offering opportunities to display innovation and resilience in every field. To meet the industry demand\, the Taoyuan City Government Office of Employment Services and Vocational Training\, Taoyuan City Department of Civil Affairs and Taoyuan City Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee have jointly commissioned Ming Chuan University to conduct “2024 Innovative Industry Application Training Workshop – Drone Racing Aerial Photography Certification Class”. This course is open to youths aged 16 and above who are employed\, studying\, or awaiting conscription in Taoyuan City. The government subsidizes the tuition\, making the course free of charge. Classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday from July 20 to September 7 at Ming Chuan University’s Taoyuan Campus. Only 30 applicants will be accepted\, and online registration is open until June 10. Register online at https://reurl.cc/1vkrOm. \nThe course will train students in three main areas: drone racing program design\, aerial video production\, and familiarity with the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) certification exam practices. Training will include intuitive response techniques for racing drones\, handling rapidly changing visual challenges\, aerial drone flying skills\, and aerial video program production. The course will also prepare students to obtain the CAA drone certification and learn about legal operations application processes. This will equip students with commercial technical skills related to the drone industry\, creating personal value and opportunities for sustainable business operations. The course will be taught by Mr. Yang Feng-rong\, who holds a CAA Remote Drone Evaluation Certificate\, and Mr. Chen Qi-wen from Cool Fly Drone Promotion Company. \nThe course is government-subsidized and tuition-free. It is open to individuals aged 16 and above (as of the start of the training) who are employed or studying in Taoyuan City\, or conscription-deferred males recommended by Taoyuan City Department of Civil Affairs. Conscription-deferred males interested in the course should contact their respective district offices or the Military Service Section of Taoyuan City Department of Civil Affairs at (03) 335-8560. Registration is open until June 10\, and a selection test will be conducted on June 30 at Ming Chuan University’s Taoyuan Campus. DESCRIPTION:二十世紀是歐美版創藝術急遽發展的時期，由印刷術傳承而來的各種媒材與技法，吸引許多優秀藝術家加入創作的行列，胡安・米羅（Joan Miro\, 1893-1983）亦是最重要的其中一位，在其生涯中創作超過2000件版創藝術作品。米羅的版創作品以凹版（Intaglio）、石版（Lithograph）與金剛砂（Carborundum）為主，其中金剛砂技法作品被認為是米羅版創藝術中的頂尖之作。這種運用炭化矽創作的版創藝術，能夠在版畫紙平面上創造出如浮雕般的深度與天鵝絨般的肌理，米羅在1960年代開始運用金剛砂進行創作，並深深著迷於此媒材所帶來的特殊效果。 \n曜畫廊於今年春季檔期，將展出米羅豐富精彩的版創藝術，並藉由對其金剛砂技法的探討，同時展出華人藝術大師趙無極生涯唯一一件金剛砂創作，以及台灣三個世代重要版創藝術家廖修平、劉自明、楊忠銘對於「深度」的研究、實驗與創新作品。 \n從物質性的媒材出發，20世紀與21世紀的版創藝術家們，因著時代與環境的變化，以各自的天份與思索，為這個世界帶來了令人驚嘆的成果。今日我們何其有幸，能夠見著他們的作品齊聚一堂，讓我們看見版創藝術這道窄門裡，無限寬廣的世界。 \nThe 20th century marked a period of rapid growth for Fine Art Prints in the Western world. Various media and techniques attracted numerous esteemed artists to engage in creative pursuits\, with Joan Miró (1893-1983) standing out as one of the most prominent figures. Throughout his career\, Miró produced over 2000 works of fine art prints. His works primarily utilized intaglio\, lithography\, and carborundum\, with the latter being considered the pinnacle of Miró’s fine art print oeuvre. Employing carborundum\, a silicon carbide compound\, Miró could create on print paper surfaces a relief-like depth and texture resembling velvet\, soft and smooth. Miró began experimenting with carborundum in the 1960s and became deeply fascinated by the unique effects it produced. \nThis spring\, Gallery de sol will showcase Miró’s captivating fine art prints\, delving into his carborundum technique. At the same time\, the exhibition will feature the only carborundum artwork in the career of the Asian art master ZAO Wou-Ki\, as well as innovative works exploring “depth” by three generations of important Taiwanese fine art print artists: LIAO Shiou-Ping\, LIU Zi-Ming\, and YANG Chung-Ming. Starting from the materiality of their mediums\, fine art print artists of the 20th and 21st centuries\, driven by the shifts in their historical period and surroundings\, have brought forth astonishing results through their individual talents and contemplations. It includes activities such as coxswain training camps\, on-land paddle pool training\, dragon boat practice\, and the eye-dotting and river blessing ceremony. Every year\, it attracts top domestic and international teams to compete in this thrilling event. Join flutist Ou Chia-wen and jazz pianist Guo Jun-yu as they lead us into the garden. \n演出樂手 Performers \n長笛 Flute：歐珈妏​ Ou Chia-wen \n鋼琴 Piano：郭俊育 Guo Jun-yu \n樂手介紹 Performer Introductions \n \n歐珈妏 Ou Chia-wen \n簡歷 長笛家歐珈妏出身雲林，旅法十年。為少數畢業自世界頂尖音樂院——國立巴黎高等音樂院(CNSMDP)第二階段高等文憑的台灣長笛家，並獲Mention Très Bien特優獎之最高殊榮。 \n2016年獲日本琵琶湖國際長笛大賽首獎及觀眾票選獎，同年亦獲義大利Città Murata國際長笛大賽首獎。 \n2021年獲邀成為韓國Song Flute Headjoint長笛品牌藝術家。 近年涉足爵士音樂領域，積極參與相關演出。曾與所屬團體「鑲嵌畫爵士五重奏」獲邀參與2023年台北爵士音樂節專場演出。2022年發行首張個人演奏專輯《笛光夜影 Les Nuances Nocturnes 》，並於隔年入圍第34屆傳藝金曲獎之「最佳跨界音樂專輯獎」。曾參與電影《周處除三害》、《盲人律師》等電影配樂錄音。旅法期間經常客席巴黎詩歌交響樂團(Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Paris)長笛首席，演出足跡遍及巴黎近郊城鎮。2018年海歸回台，曾任長榮交響樂團長笛首席。現為La Lumière光之長笛四重奏成員。任教於國立台南藝術大學、東海大學音樂系與中信金融管理學院。 \nFlutist Ou Chia-wen hails from Yunlin\, Taiwan\, and has spent ten years in France. She is one of the few Taiwanese flutists to graduate from the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) with a second-level diploma\, receiving the highest honor of Mention Très Bien. \nIn 2016\, she won first prize and the audience choice award at the Biwako International Flute Competition in Japan and also took first prize at the Città Murata International Flute Competition in Italy. In 2021\, she was invited to become an artist for the Korean Song Flute Headjoint brand. Recently\, she has ventured into the field of jazz music\, actively participating in related performances. She has performed with her group\, the Mosaic Jazz Quintet\, at the 2023 Taipei Jazz Festival. In 2022\, she released her first solo album\, Les Nuances Nocturnes\, which was nominated for the “Best Crossover Music Album” at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music. She has also recorded soundtracks for films such as “The Pig\, The Snake and The Pigeon” and “Invisible Justice”. During her time in France\, she often served as the principal flutist for the Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Paris\, performing extensively in and around Paris. After returning to Taiwan in 2018\, she served as the principal flutist for the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra. She is currently a member of La Lumière Flute Quartet and teaches at Tainan National University of the Arts\, Tunghai University\, and CTBC Business School. \n \n郭俊育 Guo Jun-yu \n1984年出生於高雄市，先後畢業於興國中、高雄中學、國立台北藝術大學音樂系，主修鋼琴。學歷間多次參加下鄉演出、醫院慈善義演、劇團和表演藝術合作演出，更參與了各式風格的演出盛會。2010年赴比利時布魯塞爾皇家音樂學院研習爵士鋼琴。於2013、2014、2015年於比利時布魯塞爾皇家音樂院演出個人音樂會及在布魯塞爾知名爵士酒吧『Sounds』演出。亦於2014年獲選參加音樂院的Tango Project中擔任鋼琴手，於比利時伊莉莎白音樂廳演出，獲得各方讚賞。 從比利時畢業歸國後，致力於爵士音樂的分享及推廣，多次在各大專院校舉辦專題演講及演出。現任教於輔仁大學音樂系爵士組學士以及碩士班。 \nBorn in Kaohsiung City in 1984\, Guo Jun-yu graduated from Xingguo High School\, Kaohsiung Municipal Senior High School\, and Department of Music at National Taipei University of the Arts\, where he majored in piano. During his academic years\, he participated in various performances\, including charity performances in hospitals\, collaborations with theater groups\, and a variety of artistic performances. In 2010\, he went to study jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. He held solo concerts at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2013\, 2014\, and 2015 and performed at the renowned jazz bar ‘Sounds’ in Brussels. In 2014\, he was selected to participate in the Conservatory’s Tango Project as a pianist\, performing at the Elizabeth Music Hall in Belgium\, where he received wide acclaim. After graduating from Belgium and returning to Taiwan\, he has been dedicated to sharing and promoting jazz music\, often holding lectures and performances at major universities.
