DESCRIPTION:十二月一到，校園節慶感便悄悄升溫。品設系學會將於12/1–12/5在設計大樓一樓中庭舉辦「聖誕市集」，以輕鬆溫暖的攤位氛圍陪伴同學迎接冬季，邀請大家在課業忙碌之間稍作停留，感受屬於年底的小小幸福。 \n本次市集集結多元攤位，包括服飾選物、手作小物、甜點點心等，讓同學能在課餘時慢慢逛、慢慢挑，找到節慶限定的小禮物或實用又可愛的生活品。設計大樓中庭也將因應活動布置，添上聖誕前最溫馨的色彩，為校園營造冬日限定的節慶氛圍。 \n活動期間同步推出打卡抽獎活動，完成指定步驟即可參與，有機會獲得應景小禮物。更多活動內容與攤位資訊可至Instagram【114mcu_pd】查詢。 \nAs December arrives\, the festive spirit on campus begins to warm up. Department of Product Design will host the “Christmas Market” from December 1 to December 5 at the 1F Atrium of Design Building\, creating a cozy and cheerful atmosphere to welcome the winter season. Students are invited to take a brief pause from their busy schedules and enjoy a touch of year-end happiness. \nThis market brings together a variety of booths\, including curated apparel\, handmade crafts\, desserts\, and snacks—allowing visitors to browse at their own pace and discover seasonal gifts or practical\, charming items for everyday use. The Design Building atrium will also be decorated for the occasion\, adding warm holiday colors to create a winter-exclusive festive mood on campus. \nA check-in raffle will run throughout the event period; complete the designated steps to join for a chance to win holiday-themed gifts. The Department of Product Design\, School of Design (Taoyuan Campus)\, will host “Product Design Night: Sleep Again? Your Work’s About to Be Thrown Out by the Professor!” on Wednesday\, November 26 at 18:00\, in M Building Courtyard. All students and faculty are invited to join this exciting night of creativity and passion. \nThe event offers two ways to join — as a Performer or Participant — and is now open for performer registration until Friday\, November 21.Performance types are unlimited: singing\, dancing\, band performances\, skits\, stand-up comedy — anything that shows your creativity and stage charm is welcome!A refundable deposit of NT$200 per group is required; however\, students who have paid the departmental fee are exempt. Deposits will be collected on November 14 and November 21 at 12:00\, in front of M404 (long table). \nGeneral participant registration is open until Tuesday\, November 18. DESCRIPTION:商品設計學系第27屆畢業展「初醒」，校內展4/14-18在桃園校區設計大樓一樓，校外展「新一代設計展」5/9-12在南港展覽館2館一樓A-07展區，歡迎全校師生前往欣賞。 \n本屆畢展以「初醒」為題，象徵稚嫩的幼蟲歷經無數日夜的淬鍊，終將破繭而出，化身為翩翩蝴蝶。蝴蝶振翅而飛，在廣闊且未知的世界中釋放出細微卻深遠的力量，激起一道道不容忽視的漣漪，最終匯聚成一場場酣暢淋漓的風暴，引領我們穿越迷霧，奔向光明璀璨的未來。 \n本次展覽的視覺設計結合酸性色調與透光質感，將蝴蝶以流線與不對稱的構圖進行抽象詮釋，使輪廓閃耀出多變的光彩與層次。這象徵著每位設計者對未來的想像與發展各不相同，卻同樣充滿無限可能，呼應「新一代設計展」的主題——可欲未來。 \n畢展作品類型多元，特別規劃成A、B作品展區，共計展出56件作品。A展區為「畢業專題製作」展區，其範圍涵蓋家飾設計、交通工具、綠色能源、裝置藝術、醫療衛生等作品；B展區為「工藝作品」展區，以「愛與幸福」為題，由品設系學生各以自身角度探討何謂愛與幸福，並透過窯燒、編織、雕刻、金工鑄模等方式詮釋，製作出各式精美的手工藝品。 \nThe 27th Graduation Exhibition of Department of Product Design\, titled “The Awakening”\, will be held on campus from April 14 to 18 at the 1st floor of Design Building\, Taoyuan Campus. The off-campus showcase\, part of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition”\, will take place from May 9 to 12 at TaiNEX 2\, 1st Floor\, Booth A-07. All faculty and students are warmly invited to visit and appreciate the works. \nThe theme “The Awakening” symbolizes the transformation of a tender larva\, tempered by countless days and nights\, finally breaking free from its cocoon to become a graceful butterfly. As the butterfly takes flight into a vast and unknown world\, it releases a subtle yet far-reaching power. These ripples\, impossible to ignore\, ultimately converge into powerful storms\, leading us through the fog toward a radiant future full of promise. \nThe exhibition’s visual identity features acidic tones and translucent textures\, abstractly interpreting the butterfly through streamlined and asymmetrical compositions. This dynamic interplay of light and form reflects the diverse visions and unique paths of each designer\, echoing the overarching theme of the “Young Designers’ Exhibition” — “Desirable Future”. \nThe showcase presents a wide range of works\, carefully curated into Zone A and Zone B\, featuring a total of 56 pieces. \n\n\nZone A: Graduation Projects — encompassing home decor\, transportation design\, green energy\, installation art\, and medical and health-related innovations. \n\n\nZone B: Craft Works — under the theme “Love and Happiness”\, students explored these emotions through their own perspectives. Using techniques such as kiln firing\, weaving\, carving and metal casting\, they created a stunning array of handcrafted artworks.

DESCRIPTION:銘傳大學商品設計學系家具設計聯展「構GO」，6/26-29在台北萬華剝皮寮歷史街區13、15號展間舉行，由品設系林福年老師指導「家具設計」課程學生，將結構拆開、重組，構建嶄新意象，是前進的具象化，歡迎民眾、師生免費蒞臨參觀指教。 \n今年主題為「構GO」，「構」有解構、拆分重組的意思，唸法如同英文的「GO」，椅子是人與空間接觸的最小單位，亦是最小單位的建築，銘傳品設系26位修讀「家具設計」課程的大三生，運用課程所學的知識，透過各類型材料，設計加工製作出具有創新元素的嶄新意象，預計展出24件椅、桌作品。 \n由品設系林福年老師指導的大三上學期「家具結構」課程，針對以木頭為主的加工，前期訓練結構觀念，並製作小型的家具作為暖身，特別著重於家具的結構與造型設計；下學期「家具設計」課程，探討家具機能、生活機能與空間之相關性，課程導入AI人工智慧輔助設計流程，以構想出符合聯合國永續發展目標SDGS的產品設計。歡迎免費前往參觀。 \nDepartment of Product Design will hold a furniture design joint exhibition titled “Construct-GO” from June 26 to 29 at spaces 13 and 15 in Bopiliao Historic Block in Wanhua. Guided by Professor Lin Fu-nien\, students of the “Furniture Design” course have deconstructed and reassembled structures to create innovative imagery\, symbolizing the concretion of progress. The exhibition is open to the public and faculty members for free. \nThis year’s theme\, “Construct-GO”\, conveys the idea of deconstruction and reassembly\, with the pronunciation similar to the English word “GO”. Chairs represent the smallest unit of interaction between people and space\, akin to the smallest unit of architecture. Twenty-six juniors from the Product Design Department\, who are taking the “Furniture Design” course\, have applied their knowledge to design and create new imagery using various materials. The exhibition will feature 24 innovative chair and table designs. \nUnder Professor Lin Fu-nien’s guidance\, the “Furniture Structure” course in the first semester of the junior year focuses on wood processing\, emphasizing structural concepts through preliminary training and the creation of small furniture pieces. This course places a special emphasis on the structure and form of furniture. In the second semester\, the “Furniture Design” course explores the relationship between furniture functionality\, living functions\, and space. The course integrates AI-assisted design processes to conceive products that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). \nWe welcome everyone to visit and enjoy the exhibition for free.
