\n• Gallery B｜還。 \n• Gallery C｜還。 \n• Gallery D｜還。 \nExhibition Origin \nSince the first exhibition “Archimeeting U” in 2008\, the Tainan City Architects Association has been dedicated to connecting architects across generations through exhibitions and forums\, exploring the relationship between architecture and everyday life. Over the years\, each edition of the triennial has deepened its thematic focus—ranging from spatial narratives to urban memory—gradually expanding into international dialogues. In 2024\, we partnered with Sendai\, Japan\, to initiate Taiwan-Japan architectural exchanges\, laying the groundwork for a broader curatorial vision for 2025 Triennial. Returning once again to Tainan Art Museum\, this exhibition embarks on a journey of architectural thought and sensory experience. \nCuratorial Theme: Re-turning to the Origin of Architecture \n“Re-turning ‘Home’” is not merely about returning—it is a reexamination\, a reinterpretation of “home”\, “origin” and “intention”. Borrowing the metaphor of the “Home” key on a keyboard\, the theme emphasizes how people seek belonging and orientation within space and time. For architecture\, the “origin” is the starting point for layout and positioning\, as well as the foundation of design intention and core values. \nExhibition Structure: Four Points of “Return” \nThis exhibition unfolds through four interwoven gallery spaces\, guiding visitors on a journey back to architecture’s origin: \n• Gallery A | Re-turning 「Home」: \nStarting with the notion of “home”\, this section explores how architectural language responds to emotional connections and the sense of belonging within a dwelling. \n• Gallery B | Re-turning 「Originality 」: \nReveals how architects revisit and refine their original intentions throughout the design process. \n• Gallery C | Re-turning 「Hometown」: \nInvestigates architectural connections between place and future through the historical context of Tainan. \n• Gallery D | Re-turning 「Domain 」 : \nInvites international architectural dialogues to co-create diverse points of cultural resonance. \nEach gallery is a reflection on the essence of architecture and a deeper inquiry into the relationship between people and space—from the personal to the urban\, from the local to the global—rethinking how architecture continues to define our way “home”.

Chang Yu-Tai - Rusted Clay Sculpture Ware Exhibition
\nSoaked in rust-colored clay like unearthed artifacts\, these works draw from both nature and human civilization. Using rusted iron from industrial remnants to dye handcrafted clay vessels\, the artist layers\, pours and collaborates with time. The results resemble stone piles of mountains or coral formations in the sea. What is intended to be buried becomes proof of once-existence\, carrying messages into the future. \nTouch. Breathe. We are all vessels of history and memory. \n複合媒材：水泥、礦物、鐵鏽染 \n\n靈感啟發：金瓜石地景 \nMixed Media: Cement\, minerals\, rust dyeInspiration: Jinguashi landscape \n日期 Date｜6/30－7/28 \n時間 Time｜wed-mon 12:30~19:30 \n地點 Venue｜地衣荒物 Earthing Way（台北市大同區民樂街34號 No. 34\, Minle St.\, Datong Dist.\, Taipei City） \n創作者自述 Artist’s Statement——— \n從架空歷史中，被掩埋的物品與埋藏記憶，充滿考古與未知性。 \nFrom imagined histories emerge buried objects and hidden memories\, filled with archaeology and the unknown. \nAn ancient trade ship unexpectedly sank off the coast of Jinguashi—long before the ocean became “Yin-Yang Sea”. At that time\, the waters were clear and coral thrived. After the shipwreck\, the hull and its vessels became bases for marine life to grow and attach. \nOver time\, corals and shellfish flourished on the surfaces of these man-made items\, coating and competing. The once-symmetrical vessels were gradually deformed and reshaped by biological remnants and minerals. \nThe objects\, originally crafted with precision\, became rugged and irregular. As modern civilization advanced\, mining in Jinguashi released heavy metals and acidic substances into the ocean\, altering its fate. The Yin-Yang Sea phenomenon emerged\, devastating the once-thriving coral reefs\, leaving only these vessels—rewritten by life and time. \nThe Burial series brings these fictional relics ashore. Each piece is a fragment dredged from the seabed—a co-creation of time and nature\, a testimony to a lost civilization. They no longer belong to a single era or culture\, but are traces of intertwined\, decaying lives.

So Weep As Well For Gladness As For Pain》影像放映會 Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:2024年末，在牯嶺街小劇場 \n林靖雁帶著一個人的身體 \n演出了無數人的記憶 \n  \n《時間就像是從來沒消逝過》 \n是一場獨角戲，也是一場召喚 \n是介於現實與幻覺之間的自白 \n是在創傷邊緣摸索自我的凝視 \n有些事我們以為被時間帶走了 \n其實只是被藏起來 \n等著你有一天回頭 \n現在，那些瞬間將再次被打開 \nLate 2024\, at Guling Street Avant-Garde TheatreLin Jing-Yan\, with a single body\,Performed the memories of countless others. \n“So Weep As Well For Gladness As For Pain”is a monologue\, but also a summoning—a confession that drifts between reality and hallucination\,a gaze exploring the self on the edge of trauma. \nSome things we thought time had taken away\,were simply hidden\,waiting for the moment we turn back.Now\, those moments will be opened once again. \nThis work takes inspiration from the structure of One Thousand and One Nights to metaphorize the human struggle within time—a vital structure\, as storytelling itself becomes a means of survival. \nTelling stories delays death. This setup is deeply personal for the creator—to create\, to keep speaking\,as though these are the only ways to remain alive. \nWithin the fragile confessions lies a fierce will.Using a solo performer as the frame\,the piece skillfully weaves live performance with multimedia narrative across different angles and timelines. It dissects and sutures existential anguish in a near-pathological manner\,and stretches the limits of emotional expression. \nBlending raw personal experience with theatrical form\,the piece constructs a spacewhere the audience is invited to dwell with the performer in a time that can no longer move forward. At the heart of the work lies a question: \n“When it feels like everything has passed\, but you’re still stuck—what now?”At that moment\, we all await a decision—to leave\, or to stay? \nThis solo performance is a self-expression by a person with dissociative disorder\, revealing physical and mental suffering with raw confessions and unrelenting repetition. It expresses a powerful desire to exist and reveals the meta-nature of performance itself. The work is highly embodied\, and confronts the ethical aesthetics between the display of illness and the gaze of the viewer. \nThrough the integration of directing\, writing\, and performing\, Lin Jing-Yan deeply explores the blurred boundaries between life and theatre.Within fragile honesty lies resolute will.Through multi-perspective live and video narratives\,the work anatomizes and reassembles the pain of existence with clinical precision. The performance is precise and well-paced.The space and visual design amplify the inner psychological tension. \nBy focusing on the creator’s personal experiences with illness\, the work also reflects contemporary alienation\, sparking empathy and reflection.A successful solo piece made powerful through collaboration. \nIn this solo performance\, the actor draws from personal experience with illness\, merging real-time performance with symptoms of the disorder. Real-life intrusions such as late arrivals or food deliveries are incorporated into the stage as “outsiders.” \nTechniques such as on-site murmuring\, dance\, object work\, projection\, and live camera performance highlight the precision and intentionality of the script structure. This series of solo performances uses mental illness as its central theme\, exploring the ethics of theatrical creation and spectatorship. With compelling audiovisual design\, the viewing experience remains fluid\, and collaborative elements add a layer of lightness and transparency to the work. \nAt the end\, the performer remains seated in darkness\, silently exchanging gazes with each departing audience member—a moment of infinite confrontation\, and wordless reckoning. \n報名 To apply：https://www.accupass.com/eflow/ticket/2507111107266470433600?utm_campaign=accu_theme&utm_medium=home_north&utm_source=Web \n影像放映會錄影為首場演出內容（華語發音、中文字幕） \n影片時間約80分鐘 \nThis film screening presents a recording of the premiere performance.Language: Mandarin\, with Traditional Chinese subtitlesDuration: Approx. 80 minutes
