Students are invited to explore the unique balance and colors of love through creative activities. \nThis series features two workshops. The first\, “Love and Relationships: Pinecone Christmas Tree Scented Message Stand Workshop” will take place on Wednesday\, November 20\, from 18:00 to 20:00 in Room B604. In this session\, participants will create a pinecone Christmas tree\, immersing themselves in fragrance and creation to reflect on moments in love. The second\, “Let Love Flow: Alcohol Ink Glass Cup Workshop” will be held on Wednesday\, December 4\, from 18:00 to 20:00 in Room B604\, where students can use the vibrant hues of alcohol ink to design a unique glass cup\, symbolizing the dynamic nature of love. \nThese workshops aim to help students find a comfortable balance in their romantic relationships\, encouraging them to appreciate the diversity and individuality of love through hands-on creative activities. DESCRIPTION:從鬼斧神工的自然之器，到巧奪天工的人造之器，一覽天、地、人共筆而出的造物傳奇。 \n《說文解字》中記載「器，皿也。象器之口，犬所以守之。」意指器字中象徵器皿的四個口，由中央的犬來守護。「器」的本義是各種用具的總稱，衍生而出的意涵眾多，從有形的器物、器官，到無形的器宇、器重等，進而延伸出無數科學、藝術與哲學的探討，足以顯見器在人類文明與生活中的無所不在。 \n自開天闢地乃至人類起源的神話，都記載著與自然之器有關的遠古傳說，人類由最初的以手為器，掬水而飲，而後發現草葉、葫蘆、貝殼等自然物可為器，再逐漸進入已知造器的時代，一步步地由運用神奇的自然物，到製作精巧的人工物，創造各種容器、食器、茶器、禮器……建構出千變萬化的器皿世界。 \n茶，既是生活，也是文化，在歷代製茶及茗飲方式的發展中，茶器也隨之百變，寫下了一部豐富迷人的器物史。而隨著經貿交流及東茶西傳，源於東方的瓷器亦跨越了千年萬里時空，流傳到全球各地，融入古往今來無數人的心血，逐漸滋長成今日的多元樣貌。 \n「器—天地人之器」特展，從遠古的神話出發，探討器的起源與發展，發掘自然之器的神奇與奧妙，鑑賞人造之器的精巧與創意，揭開茶器文化背後不為人知的傳奇，以詩意的視角層層解析器的種種不可思議，深度感受天、地、人之器無比奇幻的迷人魔力。 \nFrom the awe-inspiring natural creations to the intricately crafted man-made artifacts\, this exhibition presents the remarkable collaboration between heaven\, earth\, and humanity in the story of creation. \nIn the ancient text Shuowen Jiezi\, the word “qi” (器) is described as “a vessel\, resembling the mouth of a container\, guarded by a dog”. This refers to the four mouths symbolizing the vessel\, with a dog at the center to guard it. The original meaning of “qi” encompasses all kinds of tools\, but its significance has expanded over time to include not only tangible objects like tools and organs but also abstract concepts such as a person’s bearing or authority. This has led to countless discussions in science\, art\, and philosophy\, showcasing the pervasive role of artifacts in human civilization and life. \nFrom the myths of creation to the origin stories of humankind\, ancient legends are filled with references to natural artifacts. Early humans first used their hands as tools to drink water\, later discovering that natural objects like leaves\, gourds\, and shells could be used as vessels. This marked the transition into the age of tool-making\, where humans began crafting various containers\, utensils\, teapots\, and ceremonial vessels\, thus constructing a diverse world of artifacts. \nTea\, as both a way of life and a cultural symbol\, has seen its associated vessels evolve with the history of tea-making and drinking. This has written a rich and captivating history of tea utensils. As trade routes expanded and tea spread from East to West\, porcelain\, originating in the East\, traveled across time and space for thousands of miles\, influencing generations and gradually developing into the diverse forms we see today. \nThe special exhibition\, “Cabinet of Curious Containers” begins with ancient myths to explore the origin and development of artifacts. It uncovers the wonders and mysteries of natural tools and appreciates the craftsmanship and creativity of man-made ones. The exhibition also reveals the untold stories behind tea culture\, offering a poetic perspective on the extraordinary nature of these instruments. DESCRIPTION:「紅塵軼事」，藝術家以女性之特質作為藝術呈現的創作主題，透過「認知」的轉化，以河魨多刺自我防衛的特性，來象徵女性對於自我保護的特質。運用花卉、鏡子、化妝品等元素，來象徵女性陰柔之美與內心深處的情思，以河魨替代人像，增添了趣味與想像。在創作的不同階段，以魨骨象徵生命的結束與再生。最終銀杏系列，取其「杏」與「幸」的同音，遇見幸福、迎向幸福…..表現藝術家不同階段的心境與情感。 \n透過「意象」的轉化，以錯置、借喻、象徵之手法，多元的形式、技法與媒彩表現，豐富繪畫內容，呈現當代彩墨的嶄新樣貌。 \nStories of the Red Dust explores feminine qualities as a central theme in Lan Shu-Zhen’s contemporary ink art. The artist transforms “perception” by drawing parallels between the self-defense traits of a pufferfish and women’s instinct for self-protection. Elements such as flowers\, mirrors\, and cosmetics symbolize feminine beauty and inner emotions. The pufferfish replaces traditional human figures\, adding whimsy and imagination. In later stages of the series\, pufferfish bones symbolize life’s end and rebirth. DESCRIPTION:「另一種自然」是胡顯龍企圖透過作品傳達在精神世界上所追求的一種自然狀態，以創造自然的方式表達人類對慾望的追求。本次共展出5個系列，分別為《共融》、《別有洞天》、《山景》、《風化》及《煉金術》系列，作品從自然與人為、土與石之間進行探索，試圖混淆二類之間的差異，讓觀眾產生錯覺不易辨識。 \n其中，《共融》系列以珊瑚和塑膠表達一種虛假的美好景象，以遮蓋人類自私的一面；而《別有洞天》系列和《山景》系列則表達神秘自然景象；至於《風化》系列是借助堅固耐磨石材特質講述對未來的一種假設；而《煉金術》系列是借助黃金對人類有一種難以抗拒的誘惑，表達人類對慾望的追求，並沒有通過時間而改變。 \n“Another Nature” which WU Hin-Long tries to convey in his works is a state of nature that one pursues in the spiritual sense\, where the act of creating nature embodies humanity’s pursuit of desires. This exhibition features five collections\, namely “Coexistence”\, “Hidden Worlds”\, “Mountain Views”\, “Weathering” and “Alchemy”. These works explore the spaces between nature and artificiality\, between soil and stone\, while attempting to blur the distinctions for the viewer. \nIn “Coexistence” coral and plastics are used to create a false paradise that obscure humanity’s selfishness. “Hidden Worlds” and “Mountain Views” capture mysterious natural scenery. “Weathering\,” on the other hand\, presents an imagination for the future through robust stone materials\, while “Alchemy” conveys humanity’s unchanging pursuit of desires by invoking humanity’s obsession with gold. \n展覽時間 Date：2024/11/15（五 Friday）~12/15（日 Sunday） \n展覽地點 Venue：B1陶藝長廊 B1 Ceramics Hallway
