Yes\, there is an underground palace concealed in Gongguan. \nThe “Guanyinshan Reservoir” is part of the “Taipei Water Park” designated as a municipal historic site. Hidden on the small Guanyinshan in Gongguan\, it unveils an underground palace right in the city center. \nBy the end of 2020\, it even became the runway for models during the “World Fashion Week”! Through these performances\, audiences will have the chance to experience the charm of Minnan and Latin jazz music and gain a deeper understanding of these two musical styles through interdisciplinary performances. \nDue to the profound historical roots of Minnan songs\, the band has collected many Minnan golden hits with Latin or Japanese influences. By combining traditional and modern jazz elements\, these songs are reinterpreted for a small ensemble big band performance. The concert series aims to preserve and innovate cultural heritage. We hope to evoke the golden era of Minnan music and lead the audience into nostalgic memories. \n \n▐  什麼是小編制大樂團？ What is a Small Ensemble Big Band? \n爵士樂當中的小編制樂團，強調精彩的即興段落，大樂團則是以豐富的編曲為主體，即興成為了點綴，而在這兩者之間的小編制大樂團則時常是更自由的在這兩者之間游移，兼具了豐富的編曲與精彩的即興，而小編制大樂團的另一個特色則是編制的多樣性，不只僅限管樂，也能偶有弦樂、手風琴、打擊樂等不同樂器的加入，這些樂器不同比例的搭配，都能調配出緊密刺激的聲響，這也使得每一個小編制大樂團都是如此的獨特，也使得爵士樂有著豐富的樣貌。 \nIn jazz\, a small ensemble emphasizes brilliant improvisations\, while a big band focuses on rich arrangements with improvisations as embellishments. A small ensemble big band freely navigates between these two\, offering both rich arrangements and impressive improvisations. Another unique feature of small ensemble big bands is their diverse instrumentation. They often include not only wind instruments but also strings\, accordions\, percussion\, and other instruments. The varied combinations create tight and exciting sounds\, making each small ensemble big band unique and showcasing the rich diversity of jazz. \n ▐ 駐館音樂家｜金秋大樂隊 Resident Musicians | Golden Autumn Big Band \n是由音樂工人工作室集結了台灣跨領域頂尖音樂演奏家所組成，主要演奏國台語，西洋經典或流行歌曲等，音樂呈現為純管樂搭配節奏類樂器表演。管樂器的爆發性十足，即使沒有歌手演唱，音樂感染力亦撼動人心。成員們努力創作富有特色的音樂作品，亦不斷的嘗試全新演出型態。演出主題依據節目規劃安排，並穿插改編方言歌曲演奏作為推廣藝文教育之目標。 \nThe Golden Autumn Big Band\, organized by Music Workers Studio\, consists of top interdisciplinary musicians in Taiwan. They primarily perform classic and popular songs in Mandarin\, Taiwanese\, and Western languages. Their performances feature powerful wind instruments paired with rhythm instruments. Even without vocalists\, their music is highly impactful. The members strive to create distinctive music and continually explore new performance styles.
