SUMMARY:2024淨零排放科技國際競賽@Taiwan Net Zero Tech International Contest
DESCRIPTION:一、因應2050淨零排放，本會與國立臺灣大學以培育淨零技術人才為目的，共同主辦 「2024淨零排放科技國際競賽＠Taiwan」。並由國際知名的大學組織 Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU)攜手協辦．力求創造最大的國際影響力。\n二、本競賽召集人由國立臺灣大學校長陳文章博士擔任·競賽技術領域包括（一）再生能源（風電、光電、海洋能、地熱、氫能、前瞻能源…）、（二）前瞻儲能系統、高效率低耗能、低碳排放、（三）負碳、碳捕捉、封存及再利用技術、（四）電動車、節能馬達、綠能運輸、（五）廢棄物處理與 淨化技術、資源循環零廢棄、綠能建築、（六）節能技術（生產、製造丶住商、綠能建築設計、生活……）。\n三、本競賽以「 主競賽」與「國競賽」雙賽制進行的規模設計，邀請臺灣與世界各國在節能減碳領域中．研究成果卓越的大學師生（含碩博士生） 組隊參加。\n四、本競賽自2024年3月1日起至6月30日止受理報名，參賽作業辦法如附件，冠軍獎金壹佰萬元、總獎金達新台幣陸佰伍拾萬元；決賽計畫於2024年8月21日（三）假國立臺灣大學綜合體育館舉行。\n五、竭誠邀請貴校各系所師生踴躍組隊參加．並祈請在貴單位網站、電子看板等處公告推廣，為「 2050淨零排放」的目標共盡心力。相關資訊 請逕上 http://teco.tecofound.org.tw/zh-tw/pages/18/60 查詢 。 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn response to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050\, we\, in collaboration with National Taiwan University\, are co-hosting the “2024 Net Zero Tech International Contest”. This event is co-organized by the internationally renowned Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) to create the greatest international impact.\nThe convener of this contest is Dr. Wen-Chang Chen\, President of National Taiwan University. The technical fields of the competition include: (1) Renewable energy (wind power\, solar power\, ocean energy\, geothermal energy\, hydrogen energy\, forward-looking energy\, etc.)\, (2) Advanced energy storage systems\, high-efficiency low-energy consumption\, low-carbon emissions\, (3) Negative carbon\, carbon capture\, storage\, and reuse technologies\, (4) Electric vehicles\, energy-efficient motors\, green transportation\, (5) Waste treatment and purification technologies\, zero-waste resource cycling\, green building\, (6) Energy-saving technologies (production\, manufacturing\, residential\, commercial\, green building design\, lifestyle\, etc.).\nThe contest is designed with a dual “main contest” and “international contest” system\, inviting university students and faculty (including master’s and doctoral students) from Taiwan and around the world who have outstanding research results in the field of energy conservation and carbon reduction to participate.\nThe contest will accept registrations from March 1\, 2024\, to June 30\, 2024. Details of the contest rules are attached. The champion prize is one million New Taiwan Dollars\, and the total prize money amounts to NT$1.5 million. This camp features engaging\, themed humanities courses set in immersive classrooms\, offering a taste of foreign culture. The camp will take place on July 15 and 16 with four sessions available. Professional Guide to the Port》 \n在地文史解說老師莊耀輝，年輕時便北漂來到基隆港工作與生活，從基隆港務工作退休後，成為港務義工及攝影官，為港務拍攝紀錄並整理萬張基隆老照片，致力於推廣基隆港史與奉獻，現為專業的基隆文史工作者。 \n本次走讀將圍繞在基隆港歷史，首先於書店內部集合與行前講座，介紹郵輪港、軍港、貨櫃港、漁港及造船港，接續行走至海洋廣場、海港大樓進行導覽，解說碼頭歷史文化、港務工作以及輪船的奧秘。 \nLocal historian Mr. Zhuang Yao-hui\, who moved to Keelung Harbor for work and life as a young man\, retired from port service and became a volunteer and photographer at the harbor. He has devoted himself to promoting Keelung Harbor’s history and is now a professional local historian. \nThis walk will focus on Keelung Harbor’s history\, starting with a gathering and pre-tour lecture at the bookstore\, introducing the cruise port\, military port\, container port\, fishing port\, and shipbuilding port. DESCRIPTION:為促進國內動畫新銳創作者，有更多交流及推展動畫藝術觀摩與展映機會，銘傳大學數位媒體設計學系、國立台南藝術大學動畫藝術與影像美學研究所共同主辦，攜手國立台南大學視覺藝術與設計學系及設計碩士班、實踐大學高雄校區電腦動畫學士學位學程協辦的「2024動畫實驗場－四校交流展」，6/22-23在台灣當代文化實驗場C-LAB多功能廳展映，歡迎免費前往觀賞。 \n策展人動畫導演、銘傳數媒系林青萱老師表示，「動畫實驗場」活動去年由銘傳大學數位媒體設計學系、國立台南藝術大學動畫藝術與影像美學研究所首次發起策劃，主要聚焦「動畫新銳與實驗動畫」創造力之展現，藉以傳達動畫獨有的自由創作氛圍，今年再加入國立台南大學視覺藝術與設計學系及設計碩士班、實踐大學高雄校區電腦動畫碩士學位學程兩校學生作品參與展映，從動畫作品交流及專題講座中，分享新銳創作者們其動畫探索與獨特的創作過程。 \n此次銘傳數媒系共有5部學生動畫作品參展：《幻境操偶師》、《過去》、《魬》以及兩部在今年「第20屆技專校院電腦動畫競賽」一般大學組分別獲得優勝、佳作的《堊利席恩》、《壞旅行》，將在6/22（六）16:50-17:50進行放映，並將安排林青萱老師與學生影人出席交流進行映後座談。 \nTo promote opportunities for emerging domestic animation creators to engage in exchanges and showcase their work\, MCU’s Department of Digital Media Design and the Graduate Institute of Animation and Film Art at Tainan National University of the Arts are co-organizing the “2024 Animation Experimental Lab – Four-School Exchange Exhibition”. This event is co-hosted by Department of Visual Arts and Design and Master of Design program at National University of Tainan\, as well as Bachelor’s Degree Program in Computer Animation at Shih Chien University Kaohsiung Campus. The exhibition will take place on June 22-23 at the multifunctional hall of Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB)\, and admission is free. \nCurator and animation director\, Professor Lin Ching-hsuan from Department of Digital Media Design\, stated that the “Animation Experimental Lab” event was first initiated last year by MCU and the Graduate Institute of Animation and Film Art at Tainan National University of the Arts. The focus was on showcasing the creativity of “emerging and experimental animation”\, aiming to convey the unique atmosphere of free creation inherent in animation. This year\, the event includes works from students of the Department of Visual Arts and Design and the Master of Design program at National University of Tainan\, as well as the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Computer Animation at Shih Chien University Kaohsiung Campus. Through the exchange of animation works and special lectures\, the event will share the exploration and unique creative processes of new animators. \nDepartment of Digital Media Design will feature five student animation works: “PuppeTeer”\, “Past”\, “Wave Back”\, as well as “ELYSIUM” and “BAD TRIP”\, which won awards in the general university category of this year’s 20th Technical and Vocational College Computer Animation Competition. These works will be screened on June 22 (Saturday) from 16:50 to 17:50. A god and a human engage in a series of chess matches where each loss results in the human’s death\, trapping the protagonist in an endless cycle of reincarnation.
