燈光藝術裝置是什麼？ What is a Light Art Installation?

燈光藝術裝置（Light Art Installation） 是近年相當熱門的新媒體藝術創作類型，許多場域都可以見到它們的蹤影，如各大藝術節、燈節、美術館、公共場域及表演舞台等，藝術家透過軟體編程與裝置結構整合，讓燈光不在只是恆亮與靜止不動的裝飾品，而是可以結合音樂節奏、觀眾互動、資訊數據、動力結構等元素，展現耳目一新的感官體驗。

Light Art Installation is a highly popular genre of new media art in recent years. You can find these installations at major art festivals, lantern festivals, art museums, public spaces and performance stages. Artists use software programming and structural integration to transform light from static decoration into a dynamic medium that can synchronize with music, respond to audience interaction, visualize data and incorporate kinetic structures—delivering a fresh and immersive sensory experience.

課程簡介 Course Overview

「Pixel Light 燈光藝術裝置設計」（原課名：Coding Light 燈光藝術裝置創作） 是一堂對燈光裝置與科技藝術有興趣的朋友所開設的課程，這堂課會帶大家以簡單快速的方式入門燈光裝置的創作流程，過程我們將使用視覺化多媒體開發軟體 TouchDesigner，並專注於「光」的視覺創作，即使沒有技術與軟體開發背景也可以輕鬆學習！

新媒體藝術家-蔡秉樺梳理自身過去燈光裝置的創作經驗，作品類型包含互動燈光裝置、新媒體表演燈光設計等，將LED燈與軟體的整合、燈光視覺創作、音樂與燈光同步、燈光音樂節目至燈控介面設計等 Know-How，以淺顯易懂的方式讓大家對於燈光裝置有更多的認識與了解，在課程結束後，學員將可以掌握燈光裝置製作流程，並且有能力創作自己的燈光藝術裝置作品。

※課程所使用之軟體、LED燈、控制器皆由本單位提供，學員不需另行購買。

“Pixel Light – Designing Light Art Installation” (original course title: Coding Light) is designed for those interested in light installations and tech-based art. This course introduces the creative process of light installation in a simple and accessible way. Using the visual programming software TouchDesigner, the course focuses on the visual creation of light. No prior technical or software experience is required—anyone can join and start creating!

New media artist Tsai Ping-Hua shares his personal experiences in light installation art, including interactive light setups and lighting design for performances. You’ll learn about integrating LED lighting with software, visual design with light, syncing light with music, programming light shows and designing light control interfaces. By the end of the course, participants will understand the complete process and be equipped to create their own light art installations.

講者介紹 About the Instructor

蔡秉樺 Tsai Bing-Hua

新媒體藝術家，擅長於互動藝術、生成藝術、燈光裝置創作，同時致力於創意程式設計教育，至今幫助過數十位藝術家與設計師完成新媒體藝術作品，於BLND Academy及國立台灣藝術大學擔任互動媒體設計講師。

作品曾獲國內外新媒體藝術獎項，如2024年台中大墩美展數位藝術類首獎及大墩獎 、2021年宜蘭獎銀獎、2019年SIGGRAPH Asia延展實境類最佳科技大獎、2014、2019及2024年義大利拉古納國際藝術獎最終藝術家名單入選。2013、2014及2018年阿根廷404電子藝術節入選、2016年全國美展新媒體藝術類入選、2013年臺北數位藝術節入選、2013年桃源創作獎新媒體藝術類入選等。作品亦展覽於世界各地，如美國雅典、瑞典斯德哥爾摩、義大利威尼斯、澳洲布里斯本、瑞士蘇黎世、烏克蘭利沃夫、阿根廷羅薩里奧、俄羅斯莫斯科、中國南京、日本福岡等。

Tsai Bing-Hua is a new media artist specializing in interactive art, generative art, and light installations. He is also dedicated to creative coding education, helping numerous artists and designers complete their new media projects. He currently teaches interactive media design at BLND Academy and National Taiwan University of Arts.

His works have received multiple local and international awards, including:
