並以墨西哥重要節慶「亡靈節」貫穿主題，再現亡靈節派對的歡騰場景。

A Meal Tells a Story 📖

CUYSINE’s “Artist’s Table” project, now in its third year, delves into the intersection of art and life through food. This year, we present the table of Mexican female artist Frida Kahlo, titled Through the Cracks: Beauty of Imperfection, Freedom in the Breaks. This dining experience, set against the backdrop of Mexico, explores Frida’s expressions of passion, life, death and pain through powerful flavors and vibrant colors. The theme revolves around Mexico’s significant holiday, the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), recreating the joyous party atmosphere associated with the celebration.

From November 1 to 3 at Huashan 1914 Creative Park, West Hall 4, we invite you to immerse yourself in Frida’s inner world through an artistic celebration filled with food, drinks, music, and dance—a heartfelt tribute to life.

💀 芙烈達．卡蘿藝術亡靈節之夜 Frida Kahlo’s Table 🌵

墨西哥最大節慶之一：亡靈節。
戲謔看待死亡，向來是墨西哥的傳統，點燃歡慶精神，迎接一年一次的亡靈節；以派對形式貫穿，將展示藝術家詹賀平面畫作、藝術家韓哲睿平面畫作以及標本藝術家、剪紙藝術家以及花藝師所創作之精彩作品，並集結台北知名酒吧unDerlab創作專屬調酒、主廚特製墨西哥風味精緻小食，並有一系列展演節目和互動體驗，包括佛朗明哥舞蹈、DJ音樂現場演出，以及現場刺青體驗。

One of Mexico’s biggest celebrations, the Day of the Dead, playfully confronts death—a long-standing Mexican tradition that ignites the spirit of celebration. This event will take the form of a lively party, showcasing the works of visual artists Zhan He and Han Zherui, as well as creations by taxidermy artists, papel picado (paper cutting) artists, and florists. The party will feature special cocktails crafted by Taipei’s renowned bar unDerlab, alongside Mexican-inspired gourmet bites created by a master chef. A series of performances and interactive experiences will also be featured, including flamenco dancing, live DJ sets, and on-site tattoo services.

《Through the cracks 缺憾之美，裂縫中的自由》

芙烈達．卡蘿被公認為二十世紀美洲最偉大的女性藝術家之一，「芙烈達．卡蘿餐桌」揭示芙烈達生命與創作的不凡歷程，特別挑揀出六幅畫作《水的賜予》、《兩個芙烈達》、《靜物》、《迪亞哥與芙烈達》、《自畫像與荊棘項鍊和蜂鳥》、《生活萬歲》，分別呼應藝術家如何凝視自我，步入性與慾望的探索，以及藝術史上留名的那段動魄而艱難的親密關係，最終藝術家直面孤寂和死亡的真摯時刻。

食物設計師袁采楓分享，「墨西哥飲食文化豐美而風格鮮明，此次精選出足以代表墨西哥美食靈魂要角的辣椒、玉米以及龍舌蘭，進而疊合芙烈達的生命故事、亡靈節傳統以及馬雅文化之生死觀。」

Frida Kahlo is widely regarded as one of the greatest female artists of the 20th century. “Frida Kahlo’s Table” highlights her extraordinary journey of life and creativity. This dining experience draws inspiration from six of her iconic works: The Gift of Water, The Two Fridas, Still Life, Diego and Frida, Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird, and Viva La Vida. These pieces reveal how Frida reflected on herself, her exploration of sex and desire, and the dramatic and challenging intimacy that left its mark on art history. The experience culminates in Frida’s profound contemplation of solitude and death.

Food Designer Yuan Tsai-Feng explains, “Mexican cuisine is rich and distinctive. This event highlights essential elements of Mexican food culture, including chili, corn and agave, weaving together Frida’s life story, the Day of the Dead traditions and the Mayan view of life and death.”
