基於台灣畫廊產業發展與相關政策推動之需求，「社團法人中華民國畫廊協會」於2010年6月正式成立第一個附屬機構「台北藝術產經研究室TAERCentre」。負責產業環境與趨勢研究、以及數據調查分析，並逐步發展成畫廊產業的智庫，提供產業各項調查數據、建言、警示與趨勢報告等，供畫廊同業與政府單位作為業務制定和推動的參考。發展3大業務範疇：arTchive台灣畫廊產業史料庫、arTvalue藝術資產管理、GEO綠色使命辦公室。

TAERCentre (Taipei Art Economic Research Center):
A think tank founded by Taiwan Gallery Association in June 2010, providing surveys, analysis and trend data for the gallery industry and government. Operates arTchive (gallery archives), arTvalue (art asset management) and GEO (Green Office for sustainability).
