As graduation approaches, the Career Planning and Counseling Division is organizing the “Leap Forward” Job Fair for upcoming graduates. The event will take place on May 8 (Wednesday) from 10:00 to 15:00 at Sun Yat Sen Auditorium on Taipei campus, and on May 9 (Thursday) from 9:30 to 14:30 at the Indoor Basketball Court on the 3rd floor of Gymnasium on Taoyuan campus.
For this event, Taipei campus has invited renowned companies such as TVBS Media Inc., Digiwin Software Co., Ltd., Mega Securities and Lion Travel Service Co., Ltd., while Taoyuan campus has invited distinguished companies such as CHIN POON, I-MEI Foods Co., Ltd., MUJI, Ever Rich and HESS. Students can visit the booths of these companies for discussions or participate in interviews to obtain the “10 Pillars – Employability Certification”. Students who need to apply for leave due to their participation in the event can register at the service counter before leaving. We look forward to students seizing this opportunity to gain insight into the workplace and explore future career directions!
In addition to graduating seniors, students from other years are also welcome to participate and learn about “Work-Study and Internship Programs”. More and more companies are offering internship opportunities, and some students even transition directly to full-time positions after their internships. This is an opportunity to get ahead in the job market by utilizing resources to explore career directions. Interested students are reminded to submit internship applications to their departments upon receiving offers from companies, enabling the school and companies to provide optimal support.
On the day of the event, students can obtain feedback forms (which also serve as point cards) at the service counter. Each interview with company representatives earns 1 point, and collecting 6 points entitles students to participate in a lucky draw for prizes including Nintendo Switch and AirPods Pro. With over 100 prizes worth more than NT$30,000 in total, the list of winners will be announced on May 16 (Thursday) on the latest news section of Career Planning and Counseling Division’s event webpage. We encourage all students to participate actively!
For students unable to attend the event in person, there is also an online job fair available until May 26. With a diverse range of industries participating, don’t miss this convenient opportunity to explore various company profiles without having to be physically present. If you are interested in a job listed in the job vacancies section, simply click on the hyperlink for detailed job descriptions, and then click “Apply Now” to receive application instructions or inquiries from the company via email, based on the contact information you provide.
Furthermore, for students with career-related questions, the Career Planning and Counseling Division is offering “Online Career Seminars” to help students prepare their resumes and gain more insight into future interviews before submitting applications. Registration for consultations is available online by appointment. For more information, please visit the Job Fair event webpage. We encourage students to sign up eagerly!
Finally, we remind students that in previous job fairs, some unscrupulous companies not invited by Career Planning and Counseling Division have solicited students on campus. When attending the event, please pay attention to whether recruitment personnel are wearing identification badges issued by Career Planning and Counseling Division. Only individuals with event identification badges are representatives of companies invited to participate in the event after passing a screening process. Please be vigilant!
