113年全國中小學客家藝文競賽報名在即 6/1決賽在銘傳

To promote the prosperity and development of Hakka culture and ignite students’ interest and passion for the Hakka language, the Hakka Affairs Council is organizing the “2024 National Elementary and Middle School Hakka Cultural and Art Competition – Hakka Language Conversation Skills Competition,” hosted by Ming Chuan University! The online registration is open until March 31, with preliminary rounds scheduled for May 4-5 in the North, Central, South, and East district, followed by the finals on June 1 at Ming Chuan University.

Chairman Mr. Yang Chang-Zhen of the Hakka Affairs Council stated that the Hakka Language Conversation Skills Competition is not just a linguistic competition but also an exploration and inheritance of Hakka culture. He hopes that children can freely communicate in Hakka during the competition, sharing stories of life and showcasing the beauty of their hometowns, thereby demonstrating the rich content and charm of Hakka culture. This competition emphasizes natural conversation methods, aiming to allow children to showcase the beauty and charm of the Hakka language in the most authentic way possible.

The aim of this Hakka Language Conversation Skills Competition is to enhance students’ understanding and usage of the Hakka language, encouraging them to actively participate and demonstrate their love for Hakka culture. By participating in this competition, children will have the opportunity to interact and learn with peers from all over the country, deepening their understanding of Hakka culture. The competition venue will be filled with laughter and emotion, and every fluent conversation will be a precious inheritance of the Hakka language.

Let us join hands to create a warm and wonderful competition environment, allowing children to feel the charm of Hakka culture through natural conversations and strive for the inheritance and development of Hakka culture! Registration is open for teams from 3rd grade elementary school to high school students, with online registration available until March 31.
