雲湧智生：臺灣生成式 AI 應用黑客松競賽 AIWave: Taiwan Generative AI Applications Hackathon

「雲湧智生：臺灣生成式 AI 應用黑客松競賽」由 DIGITIMES 主辦，AWS 作為技術支持方，並提供多種國際大型語言模型、No Code 自由快速構建應用程式的生成式 AI 平台；同時，也將邀請多元產業的企業進行命題，同學們將透過一系列的技術及數據工作坊，以及黑客松競賽期間與企業代表互動交流，助於企業媒合 AI 人才、找尋 AI 創新應用。

“AIWave: Taiwan Generative AI Applications Hackathon“, organized by DIGITIMES with technical support from AWS, aims to promote the application of generative AI and foster interdisciplinary talents. The event will provide a platform for participants to utilize various international large-scale language models and No-Code application development tools offered by AWS. Additionally, companies from diverse industries will propose challenges, and participants will engage in a series of technical workshops and data sessions, as well as interact with corporate representatives during the hackathon, facilitating talent matching and innovative AI application exploration.

• 地點：華南銀行國際會議中心 2 樓
• 報名方式：線上報名（即日起至 4/12 截止）
• 對象：高中生、大專院校、碩博生、社會人士等，分為黑客組、創意交流組
  • 黑客組：技術組，須有具備使用企業數據及資料的能力，運用合作企業提供之數據及資料，可同時自帶私有資料打造可佈署實證之現場展示成果。
  • 創意交流組：非技術組，強調同學們可透過 AWS No Code 的開發環境，以自然語言的方式描述應用程式的行為，與自身的創意與技術結合，自動創建一個符合市場需求情境的應用程式，進行驗證展示。
• 內容：
  • 前導活動：生成式 AI 示範工作坊、企業數據工作坊、線上 AI 技術培訓課程
  • 黑客松競賽全程：提案實作、企業人才媒合會、生成式 AI 國際創新趨勢論壇、國內外企業代表 1 對 1 互動指導
• 競賽主題：
  • 黑客組：六大主題（智慧物聯網、智慧製造、資訊安全、創新餐飲、創新零售、永續綠能），各領域將會各有一家企業參與命題
  • 創意交流組：由指定單位命題，圍繞智慧城市、永續發展及彌平資源落差等議題
• 獎項：
  • 黑客組：總獎金新台幣 18 萬元；企業實體面試機會、DIGITIMES 中英文採訪報導
  • 創意交流組：總獎金新台幣 8 萬元；針對彌平數位資源落差之解決方案，增設公益/偏鄉獎項，總獎金新台幣 4 萬元，以達普惠 AI 的目標

Event Information

• Date: May 18th (Saturday) – 19th (Sunday), 2024
• Venue: 2nd Floor, HNBK International Convention Center
• Registration: Online registration (from now until April 12th)
• Participants: High school students, college students, graduate students, professionals, etc., divided into Hacker Group and Creative Exchange Group
  • Hacker Group: Technical group, requiring the ability to use enterprise data and information. Participants will utilize data provided by partnering companies to create deployable demonstration results on-site, incorporating their private data for verification.
  • Creative Exchange Group: Non-technical group, emphasizing the use of AWS No-Code development environment. Participants will describe application behavior in natural language and combine their creativity and technology to automatically generate an application that meets market demand for validation and presentation.
• Content:
  • Preparatory activities: Generative AI demonstration workshops, enterprise data workshops, online AI technical training courses
  • Hackathon: Proposal implementation, corporate talent matching session, Generative AI international innovation trends forum, 1-on-1 interactions with domestic and international corporate representatives
• Competition themes:
  • Hacker Group: Six main themes (Smart IoT, Smart Manufacturing, Information Security, Innovative Food and Beverage, Innovative Retail, Sustainable Green Energy), with one company participating in each domain to propose challenges.
  • Creative Exchange Group: Challenges proposed by designated units focusing on topics such as smart cities, sustainable development, and bridging digital resource gaps.
• Awards:
  • Hacker Group: Total prize money of NT$180,000; opportunities for physical interviews with companies, DIGITIMES coverage in both Chinese and English
  • Creative Exchange Group: Total prize money of NT$80,000; for solutions addressing digital resource gaps, a public welfare/rural area award will be added with a total prize money of NT$40,000, aiming to achieve inclusive AI goals.
