衛理女中校友會本次特別為「藝術收藏小白」量身打造一場啟蒙講座，我們榮幸邀請到前奇美博物館採購顧問，並長年定居巴黎、在歐洲藝術市場擁有超過25年深厚資歷的唐忠珊，為我們撥開迷霧。

將以她穿梭巴黎拍賣場的豐富經驗，為您精煉出最實用的收藏心法：

Have you ever stood in front of a painting, deeply moved, yet unsure how to take the very first step toward collecting art?

Are you curious about the art market but hesitate because it feels too complex or intimidating?

The Wesley Girls’ High School Alumnae Association has specially designed this introductory lecture for absolute beginners in art collecting. We are honored to invite Chung-Shan Tang, former acquisition consultant for the Chimei Museum and a long-term Paris resident with over 25 years of extensive experience in the European art market, to help demystify the world of art collecting.

Drawing on her rich experience navigating Paris auction houses, she will distill the most practical insights for aspiring collectors, including:

• How to cultivate an eye for discovering great art

• Where beginners should start and how to plan a realistic budget

• How to understand the dynamics of auctions and galleries and avoid common pitfalls

• Key differences between the European and Asian art markets

After the lecture, there will be ample time for an open Q&A session. Whether your questions are about the stories behind artworks, current market trends, or any personal curiosities, you will receive sincere and professional guidance.

The event will be hosted by alumna Ko-Chun Tai, who brings expertise spanning gallery management and international art appraisal. Her multifaceted perspective will guide a dynamic and engaging dialogue.
