Calligraphy, one of the most aesthetically profound forms of writing in Eastern culture, has flourished for centuries through the medium of ink and paper. But today, it faces wave after wave of media transformation. In an era of rapidly evolving digital creation, how should we interpret the concept of the “brushstroke”? Without a physical brush or rice paper, can techniques, rhythm and expressive energy still be preserved?
本次講座邀請跨足書法藝術與品牌設計的創作者 簡伯諭，分享他多年來在數位書法領域上的研究與創作經驗，深入探討筆刷的研發邏輯、技術演算背後的筆法基礎，以及那些真實毛筆難以實現的驚人筆跡。
This talk invites Boyu Chien, a creator bridging calligraphic art and brand design, to share his years of experience in the field of digital calligraphy. He will explore the development logic behind digital brushes, the technical algorithms grounded in traditional brush techniques, and the strikingly expressive strokes made possible by tools beyond the limits of real brushes.
包括數位筆刷如何被應用於藝術計劃與品牌設計中，透過與設計公司合作的應用案例，將書法的法度與節奏，重構為一種在數位媒介中依舊真實可感的書寫體驗。

簡伯諭 Boyu Chien
B VISION LAB 視平線 創辦人 Founder of B VISION LAB
身兼藝術家、平面設計師、室內設計師多重身份，作品橫跨平面、空間乃至數位媒體，藝術領域上。多次為我國總統府春聯書法題字，並致力於探索當代書法與新媒介藝術的融合。
Boyu Chien is a multidisciplinary creator whose practice spans fine art, graphic design and interior design. His work extends across print, spatial and digital media. He has been commissioned multiple times by Taiwan’s Presidential Office to create calligraphy for Lunar New Year couplets and is devoted to exploring the fusion of contemporary calligraphy and new media art.
