With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its applications have expanded into diverse fields, presenting unprecedented challenges to existing legal frameworks. To help faculty and students better understand the interaction and limitations between AI and legal regulations, the Teaching and Learning Resource Center has invited Attorney Pan Jun-Ting to deliver two thematic lectures in October:
-
Taipei Campus (Oct 17, Fri): “Deconstructing the Scope and Boundaries of AI Usage under Current Laws”
-
Taoyuan Campus (Oct 31, Fri): “Risks of AI Usage—Analyzing Legal Insufficiencies and Preventive Measures”
All faculty members and students are warmly invited to register and participate.
The Taipei session will be held on October 17 (Fri), 13:30–15:00, in B901, under the theme “Deconstructing the Scope and Boundaries of AI Usage under Current Laws”. Starting from the observation that “technological development often outpaces legal regulation”, Attorney Pan will guide participants in exploring the legal boundaries of AI applications. Through real-world cases, he will analyze the legal challenges AI poses in content generation, intelligent decision-making, and data usage, while discussing how to strike a balance between regulation and ethics.

The Taoyuan session will take place on October 31 (Fri), 13:00–14:30, in M104, focusing on “Risks of AI Usage—Analyzing Legal Insufficiencies and Preventive Measures”. The lecture will address three major topics: technological change and legal challenges, limitations under the principle of legality, and new forms of legal disputes arising from AI development. This session aims to help faculty and students understand AI-related legal risks and explore effective response strategies.
