應用英語系 Department of Applied English｜英國林肯大學移地教學 最後名額接受報名 Final Call for Registration: Overseas Summer Program at University of Lincoln, UK

銘傳大學應用英語學系今年8/9-31將帶領學生前往英國林肯大學進行為期四週的移地教學活動，由銘傳老師帶隊、英國當地老師與助教共同開課，開放全校學生（含研究生）皆可報名，第三次說明會將在5/27（二）12:00在桃園校區P405教室舉行，目前僅剩最後少數名額接受報名，詳細資訊及報名請洽銘傳應英系辦公室。

為拓展學生的國際視野，銘傳應英系每年暑假皆會辦理海外移地教學活動，今年暑假與英國林肯大學合作海外研習，課程安排有密集的學術英語課程由林肯大學的師資授課，多面向的學習主題包括經典英國文學作品、英國歷史文化與全球化、英語語言及跨文化溝通等，讓同學能更深入了解英國，並將帶領同學前往體驗當地文化和學術交流活動，深入遊覽牛津、約克和倫敦，全程參與本次移地教學，將可獲得跨文化溝通研究及海外研習課程共計5學分抵免。

林肯大學在2025年英國《衛報》大學排名中，名列英國第50名。校區坐落於英國歷史名城林肯市中心，林肯市位於英格蘭東部，是英國最美麗、最古老的城市之一，擁有2000多年的悠久歷史和豐厚的文化底蘊，雄偉壯觀的林肯大教堂和古城堡聞名於世，更是眾多羅馬、諾曼底時代的考古遺址。林肯大學著重於犯罪學、心理學、經濟貿易、教育溝通和藝術設計等，是1992年後英國創立的新大學中排名最高的學校之一。

This summer, from August 9 to 31, Department of Applied English at MCU will lead a four-week overseas study program at University of Lincoln in United Kingdom. The program is conducted by Ming Chuan faculty in collaboration with local instructors and teaching assistants at Lincoln. It is open to all MCU students, including graduate students. The third information session will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 12:00 in Room P405, Taoyuan Campus. Only a few spots remain, so interested students should contact Department of Applied English office as soon as possible for registration and detailed information.

To expand students’ global perspectives, Department of Applied English organizes overseas study programs every summer. This year’s program, in partnership with University of Lincoln, features intensive academic English courses taught by local faculty. The curriculum covers diverse topics such as classic British literature, British history and culture in the context of globalization, English language and intercultural communication. The program also includes immersive cultural experiences and academic exchange activities, with guided visits to Oxford, York and London.

Students who fully participate in the program will be eligible to receive a total of 5 MCU academic credits in the fields of Intercultural Communication Studies and Overseas Study Courses.

The University of Lincoln ranked 50th in 2025 Guardian University Guide (UK). The campus is located in the historic heart of Lincoln, one of England’s oldest and most beautiful cities. Rich in history and culture with over 2,000 years of heritage, Lincoln is renowned for its majestic cathedral, medieval castle, and numerous archaeological sites from the Roman and Norman eras.
