我們看到了許多自私濫用力量的人，傾倒垃圾與不當開發層出不窮，當我們不再與動植物共享河流後，衛生問題、洪災、身為人類的孤單感襲來往往是措手不及的。握有力量的人啊，更應該溫柔。

而在外雙溪就有如此一條老水圳，百年來一直隱藏在樹林之間，默默灌溉下游農田的同時，所經之處老樹盤根錯節，底棲生物的鑽動聲與蟲鳴聲此起彼落，過山刀沿著圳邊忙碌的搜索著獵物，與一條乾淨的天然小溪幾無分別。而且有了森林的保護，這條水圳從未被洪水沖破，下游居民的安全也一直被庇護著。原來，人類的開發不一定得是冰冷灰色調的水泥化工程，我們有無限潛能，能創造出滋養萬物的生命之水。

讓老水圳來給我們上一堂課，教會我們何謂責任，讓我們學會溫柔、願意包容。

We have witnessed many selfish acts of power, from dumping trash to inappropriate development, leading to environmental degradation. When we stop sharing our rivers with the plants and animals, we are unprepared for the consequences: sanitation issues, floods, and a deep sense of human isolation. Those who hold power must learn to be gentle.

In Wai Shuang Xi, there is such an old irrigation canal. For over a hundred years, it has quietly irrigated the downstream farmlands while hidden in the woods. Along its path, ancient tree roots intertwine, and the sounds of benthic creatures and insect calls are constant. The Chinese cobra slithers along the canal’s edge in search of prey, and the canal itself is indistinguishable from a clean, natural stream. Protected by the surrounding forest, this canal has never been breached by floodwaters, ensuring the safety of downstream residents. It teaches us that human development doesn’t have to be cold, grey, and concrete. We have the potential to create life-giving water that nourishes all living things.

Let the old irrigation canal give us a lesson, teaching us responsibility, gentleness, and the ability to embrace and nurture.

集合時間＆地點 Meeting Time & Location

• 於活動當日晚間7:30於士林區平等駐在所（座標25.131476, 121.576560，https://goo.gl/maps/wndqXZc5PwN1odfY7，汽車可走菁平路停至平等里內）集合，並一起前往夜觀地點。
• 集合地點將在活動開始三天前寄信＆簡訊通知所有成功報名的團員。
• 報到集合請避免遲到，影響其他客人權益。

• Meeting time: 7:30 PM on the event day at Pingdeng Station, Shilin District (coordinates: 25.131476, 121.576560). Google Maps link. If driving, you can park on Qingping Road within Pingdeng Village.
• You will receive a confirmation email and SMS with meeting details three days prior to the event.
• Please avoid being late to ensure the quality of the experience for all participants.

個人行前準備 Personal Preparation

• 山區夜間溫度較低，請記得帶外套或保暖衣物。
• 夜間觀察，請穿長袖、長褲、包腳鞋子，建議勿穿涼鞋、拖鞋和短褲，以避免蚊蟲叮咬。
• 雨衣（基於環保因素，主辦單位將不提供輕便雨衣）、飲用水。
• 個人藥品與健保卡。
• 活動過程需簡易健行，除了團隊提供之點心外亦可自備點心零嘴。

• The temperature in the mountains at night can drop, so remember to bring a jacket or warm clothing.
• For night observation, wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Avoid sandals, slippers, and shorts to protect yourself from insect bites.
• Bring a raincoat (for environmental reasons, disposable raincoats are not provided), drinking water, personal medications, and your health insurance card.
• The event includes light hiking. While snacks are provided, feel free to bring your own snacks.

報名須知 Registration Information

• 活動報名人數若未達出團門檻（3人），將在三天前寄信＆簡訊通知，並全額退費。
• 課程八天前將無法退票，不過票劵能夠自由轉讓。
• 如發生天災或事變等不可抗力因素，主辦單位有權取消活動。

• 請務必填寫經常使用的電子信箱，以避免漏掉重要通知。

• If the minimum number of participants (3 people) is not met, a cancellation notification will be sent via email and SMS three days before the event, and a full refund will be issued.
• Cancellations are not allowed within eight days of the event, but tickets can be transferred to others.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event due to natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances.
• For any questions, feel free to message us on the TPHA Ecotourism Facebook page.
• Make sure to provide an active email address to avoid missing important notifications.

退費辦法 Refund Policy

• 團員在活動開始前8天申請取消，請上ACCUPASS系統上退費。
• 團員在行程開始前3-7天申請無法取消，然可將票卷轉讓，票卷轉讓後務必通知主辦單位，進行保險資料更改，如因爲未通知造成損失恕不負責。
• 團員在集合逾時或缺席者恕不退費。

• Participants may request a refund via the ACCUPASS system if canceled at least 8 days prior to the event.
• Cancellations made 3-7 days before the event cannot be refunded but can be transferred to someone else. After transferring, notify the organizer to update insurance details. The organizer is not responsible for any loss if not notified.
• No refunds for late arrivals or no-shows.
