Staying true to the heart of the novel, the story follows young Pi Patel, who survives a shipwreck only to find himself stranded in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Over 227 days, the two develop a fragile coexistence amid the vast, unpredictable sea. Directed by Max Webster, with puppetry by War Horse veterans Finn Caldwell and Nick Barnes and set design by Tim Hatley, the production invites audiences into Pi’s extraordinary journey—one that explores resilience, hope and the power of storytelling.
