『泰雅歌舞肢體開發 x 養生溫泉』-五感療癒 “Atayal Dance Movement Development x Wellness Hot Spring” – A Five-Senses Healing Experience

This is a unique movement experience immersed in natural beauty, where you’ll stroll along the Lovers’ Trail, enjoy the mountain views, and engage in self-reflection. Finally, you’ll relax in a hot spring, incorporating traditional Chinese medicine concepts to expel the body’s coldness through summer sweating, achieving even greater relaxation.

In today’s high-pressure, busy life, people often lose touch with their natural senses, becoming numb to their instincts. This activity, designed by the head of the Atayal Dance Troupe, Malah Cultural Arts Group, reconnects the body with its sensory awareness, awakening all five senses.

Afterward, take a leisurely walk along a trail surrounded by mountains, where the sounds of nature and expansive views offer a chance for self-dialogue and mental relaxation. Replenish your energy with a special snack of ice-hot spring eggs in Wulai Old Street.

Finally, calm your mind once again with a 100% pure hot spring experience in Wulai, deepening your connection with yourself.

Wulai Scenic Train
The Wulai Scenic Train initially served to transport timber. With the development of tourism around Wulai Waterfall, passenger services officially began in 1963, with tourists being pushed by manpower. To accommodate the growing number of visitors, the train was mechanized in 1974 with a diesel engine. In 1987, a tunnel was excavated at the Waterfall Station to replace the original turntable, and this route has been in use ever since. The train operates between Wulai Station and Waterfall Station, covering about 1.6 km. It runs daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours during the summer season. The train is a must-visit attraction for both adults and children visiting Wulai Old Street.

Body Movement Development Instructor – Malah Dance Troupe
The Malah Cultural Arts Group, founded in 1996 by Mei Hua Cheng, granddaughter of a member of the Takasago Volunteer Corps, is a team from Wulai that loves music and dance. Now led by the second-generation head, Chun-Chun Cheng, the group has been promoting and preserving Atayal culture for over 30 years. Through Atayal music, dance, posture, and culture, they have creatively developed a body movement course specifically for forest healing, allowing participants to better understand Atayal culture and connect with their inner selves. Gao’s Ice Hot Spring Eggs (Original Store)
Located at No. 135, Wulai Street, Gao’s Ice Hot Spring Eggs are made by boiling raw eggs in the hot spring water of Nanshi River and then quickly chilling them. The egg yolk is rich in flavor and lingers on the palate. The elasticity of the eggs, enhanced by the quick chilling process after being stewed in Chinese herbs, adds an extra layer of taste.
