《藝林臻寶》台灣工藝發展協會成果展 Treasures of Artistry — Taiwan Craft Development Association Exhibition

1954年官方正式設立國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心，培育臺灣工藝人才、推廣工藝文化及扶植工藝產業。今適逢工藝中心成立70週年，也正是推動臺灣工藝之路，已邁入70年之久。

這條正統工藝傳承之路，從設計圖全在腦海裡，邊想邊做……，至今藉由AI輔助……，雖只是短短70年，確也騰達超速發展中……，從世界的介面中更顯示臺灣目前各項工藝更是成熟，甚而超越許多國家。也就在這工藝技藝純熟之際，更是以本土文化意象、多元材質結合， 推展臺灣工藝品牌。

今適逢「工藝70」之際，迎接這「工藝70」，意謂臺灣工藝70之路，已培養出眾多技藝人才，與創作製造出難以估計的精湛工藝產品；同時本會創會至今也42年之久，會內人才濟濟，得獎連連，可謂一本活的工藝藝典，遂以「藝林臻寶」為展覽主題，並以工藝材質之特質分為「鐵漢篇」及「柔情篇」，以呈現這次的展覽特色。引領大家走進「藝林臻寶」，細細閱讀及品味「臺灣工藝」。

In 1954, National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center was officially established to nurture Taiwanese craftsmanship, promote craft culture and support the craft industry. This year marks 70th anniversary of the center, a significant milestone in Taiwan’s journey of craftsmanship.

From the days when designs were conceived entirely in the mind and crafted by hand, to the integration of AI-assisted creation, Taiwan’s craft development has seen extraordinary progress over the past seven decades. Today, Taiwan’s craft techniques not only demonstrate exceptional maturity but also surpass many other countries in the global landscape. This advancement has allowed Taiwan to promote its unique cultural imagery and craft brands by blending diverse materials with local artistry.

The “Craft 70” celebration highlights the journey of Taiwan’s craftsmanship—developing talented artisans and producing countless exquisite works. Coinciding with 42nd anniversary of Taiwan Craft Development Association, this exhibition is aptly themed “Treasures of Artistry” to showcase the essence of Taiwan’s crafts. The exhibition is divided into two chapters, “Iron Will” and “Gentle Touch”, based on the materials and characteristics of the craft, offering a comprehensive exploration of Taiwanese artistry.
