公行系的英文高手看過來！為提升學生英文簡報能力與公共表達自信，公共事務與行政管理學系將於5/7（三）15:15-16:10在桃園校區觀光語文大樓P102舉辦「公行系英文簡報比賽」。活動採3至5人團隊形式參賽，鼓勵同學以全英文方式介紹系上特色與資源，分享在學期間的學習與參與經驗，展現對科系的理解與熱情。

本次競賽特別著重簡報設計、台風表現、演講內容與技巧等面向，期盼參賽者能在創意與語言表達上有所突破，培養國際溝通能力與團隊合作精神。凡完成比賽者除可獲得公假與參賽證明外，前三名可分別獲得NT$2,000、NT$1,500與NT$1,000獎金與獎狀，其餘亦有精美小禮物以資鼓勵。

賽前抽籤與簡報繳交將於5/5（一）12:30在社科院系辦外進行，敬請各參賽組準時出席，未到者將由總副召代為抽取。獎狀預計於競賽後一週內置入各班班級櫃。

Attention all English talents in Department of Public Affairs & Administration! To enhance students’ English presentation skills and confidence in public speaking, the department will be hosting the English Presentation Contest on Wednesday, May 7, from 15:15 to 16:10 at Room P102, Tourism & Languages Building, Taoyuan Campus.

The competition will be conducted in teams of 3 to 5 students, and all presentations must be delivered in English. Participants are encouraged to introduce the unique features and resources of the department, as well as share academic and extracurricular experiences to demonstrate their understanding and passion for their field of study.

The judging criteria will focus on presentation design, stage presence, content and delivery skills. The event aims to inspire creativity, promote English communication abilities and foster teamwork. All participating students will receive an official leave of absence and a certificate of participation. The top three teams will be awarded NT$2,000, NT$1,500 and NT$1,000 respectively, along with certificates. Other teams will also receive small gifts as tokens of encouragement.

The presentation order drawing and file submission will take place on Monday, May 5, at 12:30 outside School of Social Sciences office. All teams must attend punctually; those absent will have a representative draw on their behalf. Certificates are expected to be distributed to class mailboxes within one week after the competition.
