由國內知名小提琴家盧佳君與余道昌所領銜的「五度音弦樂四重奏」，將再度偕同灣聲樂團助理首席王康恬及大提琴首席李建樺兩位新生代音樂家，共同演繹浪漫新篇章！本次他們將帶來舒曼最受喜愛的《第三號弦樂四重奏》，本曲是他鑽研海頓、莫札特及貝多芬等大師前輩作品後的經典之作，樂曲完成後題獻給好友孟德爾頌，更是作為送給愛妻克拉拉的生日禮物。除了有著優雅內斂、天真爛漫的音樂風格外，樂曲終章更以舒曼式的浪漫幻想迎來壯麗的結局，是十九世紀浪漫時期最經典曲目之一。

此外他們也將演繹莫札特《D大調弦樂四重奏》，本曲以大提琴出色的表現作為最大特色，亦可見莫氏獨有的典雅氣息穿梭於旋律中，雍容華貴的氣質更深受樂迷喜愛。維拉─羅伯斯是南美最具代表性的國民樂派作曲家，他的《第三號弦樂四重奏》結合了巴西民族音樂的元素，展現千變萬化的和聲以及節奏，被視為二十世紀的重要之作。其中更以極具技巧性的撥弦手法貫串整個第二樂章，活潑又熱情的風格也使得作曲家本人特別給了「爆米花」這個趣味的暱稱。

再次受邀參加2025誠品室內樂節的五度音弦樂四重奏，將精心挑選從古典到當代不同作曲家的室內樂精彩作品，以跨越時代的經典樂曲及別具特色的動人演繹，為觀眾打造精彩繽紛的聽覺盛宴！

Led by the acclaimed Taiwanese violinists Chia-Chun Lu and Tao-Chang Yu, ThePerfectFifth joins forces with rising stars Kang-Tien Wang, assistant concertmaster of the Philharmonia Moment Musical, and Jian-Hua Lee, the orchestra’s principal cellist, to present a romantic musical odyssey!

This performance highlights Schumann’s beloved String Quartet No. 3 in A Major, a masterpiece inspired by the works of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. Dedicated to his friend Felix Mendelssohn, this quartet was also a heartfelt birthday gift to his wife Clara. The piece blends Schumann’s signature elegant and playful style with a grand, imaginative finale, making it one of the most iconic works of the Romantic era.

The program also features Mozart’s String Quartet No. 21 in D Major, characterized by its prominent cello passages and signature Mozartian grace. With its opulent and refined spirit, this quartet has long been a favorite among classical music enthusiasts.

Another highlight is Villa-Lobos’s String Quartet No. 3, a seminal 20th-century work infused with Brazilian folk elements. The piece showcases vivid harmonies and rhythms, with the second movement featuring virtuoso pizzicato techniques, which earned the movement the playful nickname “Popcorn” from the composer himself for its lively and spirited character.

Returning to the Eslite Chamber Music Festival in 2025, the Quintessence String Quartet curates a vibrant program of chamber music spanning the classical to contemporary eras. With timeless repertoire and captivating interpretations, they promise an exhilarating auditory feast for the audience.
