Creative Thinking + Design Thinking Introductory Workshop Combo Course

Course Overview|

This workshop aims to help participants break through creative bottlenecks, unleash their potential, and seamlessly integrate creative thinking with design thinking. By employing various creative tools and design processes, participants will be guided from inspiration to actionable solutions, creating a rich and challenging learning experience.

The workshop kicks off with engaging icebreaker games designed to spark creativity and break mental barriers, setting the stage for the challenges ahead. In the first session, participants will explore 3 to 4 creative thinking tools, encouraging divergent thinking and diverse solutions. In the second session, core steps of design thinking—empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototyping and testing—will help transform creative ideas into actionable plans.

Throughout the process, participants will develop skills in observation, listening, teamwork, and effective communication. This workshop empowers participants not only to grasp the fundamentals of design and creative thinking but also to apply these skills in everyday life and work, crafting innovative and practical solutions.

The course will be taught by Instructor Cha Cha, who studied design thinking at Stanford University’s d.school in 2016. Bringing top-tier global courses to local teaching, the workshop adopts a progressive approach that combines theory with hands-on practice. Participants will engage in team-based activities, brainstorming sessions, and timed challenges, gaining valuable insights and unexpected results.

This interactive learning experience transforms abstract creativity into tangible reality. Whether you’re a professional or a student, this course will help you stand out and design an innovative future tailored to your goals!
